Kata Kunci: Metode Drill, Pembelajaran Matematika Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesederhanaan metode yang digunakan guru dalam mengajarkan matematika yang mampu memberikan pemahaman secara maksimal kepada siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung. Sejumlah peneliti lain telah membuktikan bahwa metode drill mampu meningkatkan prestasi dan hasil belajar matematika, tetapi penelitian ini hanya terbatas pada implementasi metode drill dengan pokok bahasan aljabar, geometri, dan aritmatika. Adapun pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Bagaimanakah Implementasi metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pokok bahasan aljabar?, 2) Bagaimanakah implementasi metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pokok bahasan geometri, dan 3) implementasi metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pokok bahasan aritmatika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pada pokok bahasan aljabar, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pada pokok bahasan geometri, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis metode drill dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Bayanul Azhar Tulungagung pada pokok bahasan dan aritmatika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan tehnik triangulasi dan pembahasan teman sejawat. Sumber data ini berasal dari guru, siswa kelas V, dan pihak sekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa sintaks metode drill disetiap pokok bahasan pembelajaran matematika dilaksanakan guru sesuai situasi dan kondisi sehingga siswa mampu memahami pembelajaran matematika. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Pelaksanaan metode drill pokok bahasan aljabar melalui proses drill tanpa melakukan latihan soal dalam materi pokok, 2) Pelaksanaan metode drill pokok bahasan geometri melalui langkah pemberian contoh latihan dan pemberian media konkret tanpa melakukan penjelasan di awal pembelajaran, 3) Pelaksanaan metode drill pokok bahasan aritmatika melalui bentuk latihan yang beragam tanpa pemberian pengetahuan di awal pembelajaram, proses latihan sampai proses refleksi

    The Influence of Applied Educational Statistics Courses on the Competency of Students’ Quantitative Research

    Quantitative research competence is the main asset for students to be able to carry out quantitative research well and produce quality research results. One of the things that affect the quantitative research competence of a researcher is the mastery of applied statistics. This study aims to determine the effect of Applied Educational Statistics Courses on student competence in quantitative research. For this purpose, the researcher used a survey quantitative research method. The populations of this study were all students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Master Program for the 2021-2022 Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta who took the Applied Education Statistics course. The sample was taken using the proportional random sampling technique using the Slovin formula, to obtain a total sample of 12 students. Data were collected using a technical questionnaire that had proven its validity and reliability and analyzed by regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the value of R2 (coefficient of determination) or R Square is 0.259 or 25.9%. This value can be interpreted that changes in student competence in quantitative research by changes in the value of the independent variable in statistics courses are 48, 54 % while 51,46 % is determined by changes in other factors. The calculated value for the Statistics course variable is 2, 203 with sig. 0.052 is smaller than 0.05. This shows that there is an influence of statistics courses on students' quantitative research competence and the factors that influence it

    This study aims to 1) describe the project-based learning (PjBL) model in thematic learning for grade V students in Sidoarjo East Java Madarasah Ibtidaiyah; 2) identify verbal communication in thematic learning for grade V students in Sidoarjo East Java Madarasah Ibtidaiyah; 3) describe the learning experience in thematic learning for grade V students in Sidoarjo East Java Madarasah Ibtidaiyah. This research uses a qualitative research approach and uses the case study method. The setting of this research is Roudlotul Jannah Bilingual Madarasah Ibtidaiyah in Sidoarjo area. The subjects of this research are fifth grade students of Madarasah Ibtidaiyah Bilingual Roudlotul Jannah totaling 17 students of which 9 male students and 8 female students and 2 teachers. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique John W. Cresswell by using coding techniques, connecting themes, interpreting themes / descriptions and supported by Atlas.ti application software. This research resulted in the following conclusions: 1) the implementation of the project-based learning model (PjBL) in thematic learning uses the process of analyzing the problem, planning the project and determining the project schedule, implementing the project and the last stage of reporting and presenting the project; 2) the implementation of communication is found in the activity of questioning at the beginning of learning and the activity of presenting the project in front of friends orally and written in the project booklet in written form; 3) the thematic learning experience occurs in learning activities in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains that occur in the activities of observing, questioning, trying, reasoning and communicating and involves communication aspect in project learning

    The study aims to study the challenge of educating children about characteristics in Islamic Elementary schools dealing with society 5.0. Children of Islamic Elementary Schools are prepared to deal with the challenge experienced in the next future in various ways.  The study is conducted in MI Bilingual Roudlotul Jannah. The study uses observation and documentation techniques to know the strategies and rapprochement that educators use to teach children characteristics. The data analysis is operated by using Miles and Huberman techniques through data reduction based on data. The finding is that educators implement HOTS assessment and collaboration between parents and educators. The result of the study is that educators prepare students to deal with society 5.0 so that characteristic education for children does not affect globally. Those children implement Islamic education based on Islamic education that is insan kamil through the vision and mission Islamic religion

    The failure of learning literature in schools makes moral damage that is different from the previous generation. This study depicts to provide an analysis of the description of the appropriate literary learning taught to students as education values in educational institutions through the folklore of Sendang Panguripan and the origins of Pesanggrahan Langenharjo in Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling in determining the sample. Researcher used three data collection techniques including in-depth interview techniques, direct observation techniques and content analysis techniques. Researcher used triangulation to obtain valid data by using triangulation methods, triangulation of data sources, and review of informants. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive model of the analysis technique. This study concludes that the two folk tales have different stories in structure and content, and both have educational values needed by children in learning including religious values (religion), social values, moral values, and cultural values.   Abstrak Penelitian ini berusaha memberikan analisis struktur cerita rakyat Sendang Panguripan dan asal-usul Pesanggrahan Langenharjo di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling dalam penentuan sample. Peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data diantaranya teknik wawancara mendalam, teknik pengamatan dan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi untuk mendapatkan data yang valid dengan menggunakan triangulasi metode, triangulasi sumber data, dan review informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis model interaktif (interaktif model of analysis). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kedua cerita rakyat tersebut memiliki cerita yang berbeda secara struktur isi, dan keduanya memiliki nilai edukasi yang dibutuhkan oleh anak dalam pembelajaran diantranya nilai religius (agama), nilai sosial, nilai moral, dan nilai budaya

    Implementation of HOTS Assessment in Islamic Religion Lesson in 3rd Grade Islamic Elementary School East Java

    Embedded critical thinkers, problem solvers, and creativities outcomes are achieved by HOTS assessment making learning display accurate. The research aims to conduct a HOTS assessment on religious learning based on the HOTS assessment in 3rd grade MI. The research analyzes assessments by teachers in class with HOTS questions to train higher thinking order students in 3rd grade. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research that examines questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The subject of research is teachers in MI Roudlotul Jannah. The researchers take the data through interviews and observations. The interview techniques were conducted to know how to perform the HOTS assessment to the students, while observation techniques were taught to know religion learning based on the HOTS assessment. HOTS assessment on religion learning is that Al Qur’an Hadis, Fiqih, and Akidah Akhlak are performed on some daily tests to train critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The researchers conclude religion learning with HOTS questions becomes a challenge for students in the learning processes, and teachers have not known HOTS questions, so that they feel hard to understand students in learning because of the diverse students’ skills. This improves students’ skill. The finding research is questions based on HOTS in learning that is implemented by analyzing Islamic religion lessons based on Bloom’s taxonomy, examining basic competencies to improve students’ ability in the way students think
