Designing interactive solutions, nowadays, means facing the diffusion of systems that integrated sensors that create a hyperconnected world (Mitchell, 2010). These sensors detect, gather collect, store and use data about people and their behaviors. The use of personal data and information that derives has become a critical point in the creation of solutions that use them to create additional knowledge and value within the provided service (Greengard, 2015). Considering design artefacts and political elements (Winner, 1980) that act and react in the society in which they are embedded in, designers have the responsibility of considering and be aware of possible consequences of their design choices (Pillan et al., 2017). While in the design process designers tends toward utopian objectives, the formalized results integrate non only functional solutions to problems, but also possible individual and social consequences in terms of both possibilities and problems (Varisco et al., 2019a; Varisco, 2020). Aiming at fostering awareness of designers in the consequences of their design choices and at promoting ethical discussions on the ethical issues connected to the use of personal information in interactive solutions, this paper discusses the possibilities of using an original method within the assessment phase of the design process so to formalize new knowledge related to critical themes for individuals and society. From the analysis of sci-fi storytelling artefacts that imagine the future together with the identification of contemporary elements from online news, the method extracts a representation of current hopes and fears regarding the use of personal information in digital interactive solutions. The article reports and describes twelve critical themes that have been formalized during the application of the method on different proof of concepts of solution that imply the use of personal information

The keywords in this collective work include community of learning, inquiry or work, virtual environments and identity. This book presents the results of a biennial Italian research project (PRIN 2005-2007) which was coordinated nationally by the University of Padova, which Bianca M. Varisco as principal investigator. The research involved five units with local coordinators (Padova, Bari, Roma La Sapienza, Milano Cattolica Sacro Cuore, Macerata) and also the Universities of Trieste, Milano Bicocca, Valle d’Aosta, Bologna, Udine e Cassino. The interdisciplinary nature of the research meant close collaboration between pedagogists, educational, communicational and social psychologists, and ICT technologists and scientists. The aim was to analyse, develop and verify online environments. The study was focussed on virtual communities and their internal actions and interactions. These communities vary greatly in nature, and were formal and informal, academic and professional, and comprised graduate students, post graduate students, teachers, patients and psychotherapists. The research developed, and the models studied also surveyed, deepened and reported on, the educative, cognitive, social, affective-conative and evaluative aspects of virtual communities. Indeed, from a theoretical point of view, an attempt was made to combine the psychological, pedagogic and social perspectives, identifying useful inter-connection point and deepening the cognitive, meta-cognitive, inter-subjective, identity creating and cultural aspects which take shape in the online community. Working tools and environments were studied, developed and field tested for supporting and promoting virtual communities. The modalities of personalization, co, self assessment and skills improvement were also invented or planned for these communities

Parole chiave: Bernardino Varisco, fatti di coscienza, idealismo critico, metafisica monadologica, teismo   After publishing physical-mathematical studies in his youth, Bernardino Varisco shifted towards philosophy. A positivistic approach expressed in an analysis of the facts of consciousness can be found in Scienza e opinioni from 1900. In I massimi problemi (1910) and Conosci te stesso (1912), he transcends positivism towards idealistic positions (a critical idealism or ‘ideal-realism’, distinct from neo-Hegelianism) and develops an original monadological metaphysical conception of the subject and ‘being’. In Conosci te stesso and even more so in the posthumous Dall’uomo a Dio, the uniqueness of ‘being’ takes on theistic-personalistic characteristics, in a perspective where God is both immanent—because He remains within the human, as the human cannot be conceived without the divine unique—and transcendent—because the divine maintains its own plane of being and activity, and divine self-limitation—with a reaffirmation of indeterminism against any predestination—is its full manifestation. Keywords: Bernardino Varisco, facts of consciousness, critical idealism, monadological metaphysics, theism

Dall'interno all'esterno (e viceversa).

The text constitutes in a reflection on the use of space in Varisco's installations at the end of the Sixites. Varisco was a component of "Gruppo T", working during that decade. As for the others artists of the group, also for her the projects of public interventions and of environment has been of great importance. Particularly in 1969, when she realized a work for an exhibition in Schwarz gallery in Milan, while she participated at "Campo Urbano" exhibition in Como, her intention to create an interior and exterior place to go through has been a challenge projection of her ideas
