No full textIn questo contenuto intendiamo proporre una visione problematica di alcuni modelli di costruzione dell'identità emersi nel dibattito contemporaneo sullo sviluppo della coscienza di s nell'ambito delle neuroscienze cognitive e della filosofia della mente. La nostra problematizzazione nasce dall'analisi psicotaologica di una serie di condizioni cliniche in cui l'esperienza di sè risulta, per definizione, fortemente alterata. Quello che, in particolare, vogliamo mettere in evidenza è: a) quanto sia necessario concepire la strutturazione dei processi identitari come frutto di un architettura complessa che a partire da componenti fondamentali integra progressivamente livelli di autoriconoscimentoevoluzionisticamente ed evolutivamente più avanzati; b) l'esperienza del tipo di pazienti presi in esame mostra la sempre inevitabile interazione tra i diversi livelli di complessità nella costruzione dell'identità. Nel proporre questa articolazione risulterà necessario discutere le implicazioni di questo complesso modello del sè per la visione contemporanea offerta dalla psichiatria biologica in merito ai processi che determinano lo sviluppo degli esiti psicopatologici.In this contribution we intend to propose a problematic view of some models of identity formation appeared in the contemporary debate of cognitive neurosciences and phylosophy of the mind. Our view arises from the psychopathological analysis of those clinical condistions in which the organization of self experience is, by definition, profoundly altered. In particular, we wpuld like to highlight: a) the necessity to conceive of the buidling of identity processes as the product of a complex architecture that, starting from some basic components, progressively integrates evolutionary and ontogenetically higher levels of self-monitoring; b) these patients' self-experience always brings up the unavoidable interaction of such different levels of complexity in dientity formation. In presenting this articulation it will be necessary to discus the implications of such complex model of self for the contemporary perspective proposed by biological psychiatry with regard to the processes determing the development of psychopathological outcomes

Executive functions and symptom severity in an Italian sample of intellectually able preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder
No full textA novel battery (BAFE; Valeri etal. 2015) was used in order to assess three executive function (EF) abilities (working memory, inhibition and shifting) in a sample of 27 intellectually able preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) compared with 27 typically developing children matched on age and nonverbal IQ. Differences in EF skills were analyzed in participants with distinct ASD symptom severity. Children with ASD performed worse than typical controls on both set-shifting and inhibition, but not on visuo-spatial working memory. Additionally, children with more severe ASD symptoms showed a worse performance on inhibition than children with milder symptoms. These results confirm the presence of EF deficits and highlight a link between ASD symptoms and EF impairments in preschool age

No full textIl saggio è costituito da due parti, la prima delle quali, dedicata alla fondazione della Federazione italiana delle biblioteche circolanti cattoliche, è stata pubblicata nel precedente numero dei «Nuovi Annali», XXVII (2013), pp. 137-163. In questa seconda parte viene delineata la figura intellettuale di Giovanni Casati, che diresse la «Rivista di letture» dal 1912 al 1944, trasformando il periodico della Federazione in una rivista impegnata nella divulgazione della cultura cattolica. A questo impegno militante Casati fece corrispondere un intenso programma editoriale, che trovò espressione nella pubblicazione di saggi letterari, di manuali e opere repertoriali.The study consists of two parts; the first is dedicated to the history of the Federazione italiana delle biblioteche circolanti cattoliche since its foundation (1904) up to 1912 and was published in the previous volume of the «Nuovi Annali », XXVII (2013), pp. 137-163. In this second part, the author outlines the intellectual figure of Giovanni Casati, who directed the «Rivista di letture» from 1912 to 1944, transforming the magazine of the Federation in a journal engaged in the spreading of Catholic culture. To this militant engagement Casati matched an intense publishing program, which found its expression in the publication of literary essays, manuals and reference works

Il novelliere di Giovanni Sercambi da Lucca non fa eccezione, anche se l’autore non ha una cultura giuridica né s’interessa in modo specifico al diritto. Il presente saggio vuole analizzare sotto tale profilo queste novelle per verificare quale concezione del diritto emerge da esse e come la narrazione ne risulti arricchita.In the late medieval and humanistic novellas, owing to their very realistic character, the right is an important central and inevitable element in community life. Giovanni Sercambi’s novelliere is no exception even if the author lacks a legal culture, nor is specifically interested in right. This essay intends to analyze these novellas under this profile to verify what kind of right they consider and how the stories are enriched
