A Hydrological and Hydrochemical Study of the Gudiyalchay River: Understanding Groundwater–River Interactions
The Gudiyalchay River plays a crucial role in the environment and human activities of the Guba area in north-eastern Azerbaijan, supporting agriculture and the local water supply. Despite its significance, the river has received little scientific attention. The groundwater beneath the Gudiyalchay riverbeds, a vital source of drinking water and the second primary source of river recharge after snowmelt, remains insufficiently studied, with most monitoring data being outdated. With climate change intensifying, such research is critical to mitigating potential water risks. In this work, all available geological, hydrogeological, climatic, and hydrochemical data were collected to characterize the study area and analyze the seasonal fluctuations in river flow and total dissolved solid (TDS) values, with a focus on the interactions between the river and groundwater at the Khinaliq, Giriz, and Kupchal flow stations. The analysis shows that both river and groundwater TDS values are within acceptable drinking water limits, but continuous data collection is important to confirm this. Flow rate analysis and a literature review revealed that variations in flow rate are linked to seasonal changes, with the flow rate near the Giriz station indicating potential groundwater influence. Based on the literature review and analysis, a simplified hydrogeological diagram is created to provide a clearer understanding of the interactions between the river and groundwater systems
Access services’ shifts in Azerbaijani academic libraries during COVID-19: the case of ADA University Library

The COVID-19 pandemic made a unsuspected long-term strike to the academic library environment in Azerbaijan as well as elsewhere in the early spring of 2020. In particular, the consumption of physical resources (collections, facilities, etc.) was experienced via campus closures, budget cuts, strict quarantine requirements, enforced social distancing, etc. This article examines the respond of Azerbaijani academic libraries to the COVID-19 pandemic in the case of ADA University Library. The similarities and contrast of actions brought to the fore in against to global experience. The role of online information resources access, exchange, ILL and Electronic Document Delivery during pandemic is specifically investigated. The author describes the prompt transitions of ADA University Library in early spring 2020 due to the shutdown of university campus. Multititle solutions were implemented including online circulation and reference services, preparation of online tutorials, strengthening institutional repository with open access resources and organization of usage, full utilization of electronic ILL and Document Delivery services. Moreover, services like consultation, technical, experience sharing support to partner universities and institutions were organized. The author also outlines the role of long-term strategic view of ADA university leadership, that before Pandemic the library passed through successful digital transformations being ready for uncertainties.</p

BOUNDEDNESS OF FRACTIONAL MAXIMAL OPERATOR AND THEIR HIGHER ORDER COMMUTATORS IN GENERALIZED MORREY SPACES ON CARNOT GROUPS
In the article we consider the fractional maximal operator M-alpha, 0 <= alpha < Q on any Carnot group G (i.e., nilpotent stratified Lie group) in the generalized Morrey spaces M-p,M-phi(G), where Q is the homogeneous dimension of G. We find the conditions on the pair (phi(1), phi(2)) which ensures the boundedness of the operator M-alpha from one generalized Morrey space M-p,M-phi 1(G) to another M-q,M-phi 2(G), 1 < p <= q < infinity, 1/p - 1/q = alpha/Q, and from the space M-1,M-phi 1(G) to the weak space WMq,phi 2(G), 1 <= q < infinity, 1 - 1/q = alpha/Q. Also find conditions on the phi which ensure the Adams type boundedness of the M-alpha from M-p,M-phi 1/p(G) to M-q,M-phi 1/q(G) for 1 < p < q < infinity and from M-1,M-phi(G) to WMq,phi 1/q(G) for 1 < q < infinity. In the case b is an element of BMO(G) and 1 < p < q < infinity, find the sufficient conditions on the pair (phi(1), phi(2)) which ensures the boundedness of the kth-order commutator operator M-b,M-alpha,M-k from M-p,M-phi 1(G) to M-q,M-phi 2(G) with 1/p - 1/q = alpha/Q. Also find the sufficient conditions on the phi which ensures the boundedness of the operator M-b,M-alpha,M-k from M-p,M-phi 1/p(G) to M-q,M-phi 1/q(G) for 1 < p < q < infinity. In all the cases the conditions for the boundedness of M-alpha are given it terms of supremal-type inequalities on (phi(1), phi(2)) and phi, which do not assume any assumption on monotonicity of (phi(1), phi(2)) and phi in r. As applications we consider the Schrodinger, operator -Delta(G) + V on G, where the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Holder class B-infinity(G). The M-p,M-phi 1 - M-q,M-phi 2 estimates for the operators V-gamma(-Delta(G) + V)(-beta) and V-gamma del(G)(-Delta(G) + V)(-beta) are obtained
On fractional maximal function and fractional integrals associated with the Dunkl operator on the real line
AbstractIn this paper we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions on the parameters for the boundedness of the Dunkl-type fractional maximal operator Mβ, and the Dunkl-type fractional integral operator Iβ from the spaces Lp,α(R) to the spaces Lq,α(R), 1<p<q<∞, and from the spaces L1,α(R) to the weak spaces WLq,α(R), 1<q<∞. In the case p=2α+2β, we prove that the operator Mβ is bounded from the space Lp,α(R) to the space L∞,α(R), and the Dunkl-type modified fractional integral operator I˜β is bounded from the space Lp,α(R) to the Dunkl-type BMO space BMOα(R). By this results we get boundedness of the operators Mβ and Iβ from the Dunkl-type Besov spaces Bpθ,αs(R) to the spaces Bqθ,αs(R), 1<p<q<∞, 1/p−1/q=β/(2α+2), 1⩽θ⩽∞ and 0<s<1
Riesz potential on the Heisenberg group and modified Morrey spaces
WOS: 000304468700013In this paper we study the fractional maximal operator M-alpha, 0 (1,lambda)(H-n) to the weak modified Morrey space W (L) over tilde (q,lambda) (H-n) if and only if, alpha/Q <= 1 - 1/q <= alpha/(Q - lambda) and from (L) over tilde (p,lambda)(H-n) to (L) over tilde (q,lambda)(H-n) if and only if, alpha/Q <= 1/p - 1/q <= alpha/(Q - lambda). In the limiting case Q-lambda/alpha <= p <= Q/alpha we prove that the operator M-alpha is bounded from (L) over tilde (p,lambda)(H-n) to L-infinity (H-n) and the modified fractional integral operator (I) over tilde (alpha) is bounded from (L) over tilde (p,lambda)(H-n) to BMO(H-n). As applications of the properties of the fundamental solution of sub-Laplacian L on H-n, we prove two Sobolev-Stein embedding theorems on modified Morrey and Besov-modified Morrey spaces in the Heisenberg group setting. As an another application, we prove the boundedness of F alpha, from the Besov-modified Morrey spaces B (L) over tilde (s)(p theta),(lambda)(H-n) to B (L) over tilde (s)(q theta),lambda(H-n)
Update for the biodiversity and inflows of Araz River (Azerbaijan)
The article provides updated information about the hydrological characteristics, biodiversity and the influence of these and other anthropogenic factors in the Araz River and some of its tributaries in Azerbaijan.Its is revealed that concentration of such unnatural components as heavy metals, phenols, oil products and other pollutants in the water of the river highly increased during last 50-60 years. As a result, the proportion of dissolved oxygen in the water is partly decreased, while the degree of water mineralization increased 2-4 time. Ten species of macrophytes, 34 species of fishes, 28 species of zooplankton organisms belonging to 3 ecological groups and 95 species of macrobenthic organisms, belonging to 14 systematical groups, were found in Araz River. 6 groups (60 species) of macrobenthic organisms were revealed in the faunas of Okhchuchay River and Hakarichay River.Este artículo aporta información actualizada sobre las características hidrológicas, la biodiversidad y lainfluencia de los factores antrópicos en el río Araz y sus tributarios. Los datos revelan altas concentracionesde metales pesados, fenoles, productos derivados de los hidrocarburos y otros productos en el agua del río,que se han incrementado notablemente en los últimos 50-60 años. Como resultado de dichas perturbaciones se han producido ciertos cambios en la composición físico química del agua, particularmente por ejemplo en los niveles de oxígeno disuelto, que han disminuido, así como en los valores de la conductividad, que se han incrementado,entre 2 y 4 veces. La biodiversidad del río Araz incluye 10 especies de macrófitos, 34 de peces, 28 de zooplancton (que pertenecen a 3 grupos ecológicos) y 95 de macroinvertebrados (pertenecientes a 14 grupos sistemáticos). Способ скрытой передачи информации на основе фракталов и его программное обеспечение
In this article is considered hiding process of bits on least significant bits that make up the binary codes of confidential information with using fractal based stego-key. In order to increase resistance against stegoanalysis, it is proposed to use only a part of graphic images not all the pixels of the containers, but only a part determined by the appropriate rule. As a key-image file displaying a Mandelbrot and Julian fractal is used to determine positions of pixels for hiding secret information on least significant pixels of container. So after creation of fractal image as key file, border point of it is changed with according represented rule, then position of pixels is determined with obtained new positions to hiding information in least significant bits
