Breaking The Chains: Baby Kamble\u27s Struggle Against Poverty, Untouchability, And Dalit Patriarchy In The Prisons We Broke

    No full text
Dalit Literature has emerged as a prominent genre within the literary landscape of India. The hard reality faced by the marginalised and "voiceless" Dalit population is examined and internalised. The objective of this study is to provide a contextual analysis of the physical and psychological violence experienced by Dalit women, examining its occurrence in both public and private domains. Baby Kamble is recognised as a prominent figure among Dalit writers, and her autobiography titled "The Prison We Broke" gained significant recognition and acceptance within academic circles. This paper additionally addresses the concerns surrounding the marginalisation experienced by Dalit women, as exemplified in the autobiography of Baby Kamble. The work produced by the individual in question is a manifestation of the concept of double consciousness, which explores the manner in which Dalit women have been subjected to mistreatment and the roles they have assumed within their respective social contexts. The focus of Baby Kamble\u27s engagement lies within the historical context of Dalit persecution. The author does not romanticise the existence of the Dalit community; instead, she explicitly expresses her objective to subject the circumstances of her community to meticulous examination. Her aim is to illustrate how the dominance of the Brahmanical system had reduced the Mahars to a state of servitude, compelling them to endure living conditions that were even more deplorable than those of animals. This essay undertakes an analysis of the author\u27s portrayal of the visual documentation depicting the lives of the Mahars throughout the course of the last five decades in Western Maharashtra

COMPARISION OF PERCENTAGE ERROR BY USING IMPUTATION METHOD ON MID TERM EXAMINATION DATA

    No full text
The issue of incomplete data exists across the entire field of data mining. In this paper, Mean Imputation, Median Imputation and Standard Deviation Imputation are used to deal with challenges of incomplete data on classification problems. By using different imputation methods converts incomplete dataset in to the complete dataset. On complete dataset by applying the suitable Imputation Method and comparing the percentage error of Imputation Method and comparing the resul

Presence of missing values in the dataset remains great challenge in the process of knowledge extracting. Also this leads to difficulty for performance analysis in data mining task. In this research work, student dataset is taken that contains marks of four different subjects of engineering college. Mean Imputation, Mode Imputation, Median Imputation and Standard Deviation Imputation were used to deal with challenges of incomplete data. By implementing imputation methods for example Mean Imputation, Mode Imputation, Median Imputation and Standard Deviation Imputation on the student dataset and find out standard errors for each imputation method then analyze obtained result. Mean Imputation with standard error is less as compare with other imputation method with standard error. Hence Mean Imputation Method with standard error is more suitable to handling the missing values in the dataset

Presence of missing values in the dataset leads to difficult for data analysis in data mining task. In this research work, student dataset is taken contains marks of four different subjects in engineering college. Mean, Mode, Median Imputation were used to deal with challenges of incomplete data. By using MSE and RMSE on dataset using with proposed Method and imputation methods like Mean, Mode, and Median Imputation on the dataset and found out to be values of Mean Squared Error and Root Mean Squared Error for the dataset. Accuracy also found out to be using Proposed Method with Imputation Technique. Experimental observation it was found that, MSE and RMSE gradually decreases when size of the databases is gradually increases by using proposed Method. Also MSE and RMSE gradually increase when size of the databases is gradually increases by using simple imputation technique. Accuracy is also increases with increases size of the databases.</jats:p

Re connecting bamboo: Development and structural evaluation of connections for construction of a prefabricated housing unit using engineered bamboo

    No full text
Today, the world is continuously looking forward towards sustainable solutions for building construction, thus the interest and the need for sustainability is continuously growing. With growing issues related to the environment and sustainability, Bamboo being one of the answers is one such sustainable material that has a lot of potentials to be used as a building material. This graduation research is a little step towards uplifting the material, improvising and changing the current perception of bamboo in the building construction sector by evaluating possibilities of using an engineered form of bamboo in a structural application. Today, bamboo is developed up to a level where it is structurally modified for improved strength, durability and performance. This research focuses on using this advanced form of Bamboo to develop a method of construction to build a housing prototype and investigate into connection techniques to construct the same using these materials. The connection design is inspired by Japanese interlocking joinery, with an aim to avoid the use of external fasteners to connect the joinery. This semi-permanent prefabricated interlocking approach allows for future flexibility. The research also establishes and evaluates criteria as a design rule for efficient joinery connections. The joinery design is validated by physical prototyping, testing and software validation of the proposed joinery design configuration. The project strives to gain validation for the potential of using bamboo is a structural application.Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences | Building Technology | Sustainable Desig

Detection of Social Network Mental Disorder via Machine Learning

    No full text
The brutal enhancement of social networking conducts the intricate usage. It increases the social network mental disorders such as phantom ringing syndrome, Nomophobia, cybersickness, Internet addiction disorder, Online gaming addiction, Cyberchondria etc. The symptoms of these mental disorders generally viewed passively today. In this paper we use machine learning method for the process of obtaining big data from user generated content on social media sites in order to extract patterns, and act upon the information and argue that mining social behavior provides an opportunity to actively identify social network mental disorder at an early stage. It is difficult to discover the social network mental disorder because it is not possible to directly observe from social activity logs. We purpose a machine learning framework for social media mining which requires human data analyst and automated software program to sift through massive amount of raw social media data in order to discover patterns and trends relating to social media usage, online behaviors, sharing of content, connection between individuals, online buying behavior etc. We direct an element investigation, and furthermore apply interpersonal organization mental turmoil on huge scale datasets and examine the qualities of the informal community mental confusion types
