Synthesis and reactivity of 5-polyfluoroalkyl-5-deazaalloxazines
Reaction of 6-arylamino-1,3-dialkyluracils with anhydrides of polyfluorocarboxylic acids in the presence of pyridine and subsequent cyclization with concentrated H2SO4 gave the corresponding 1,3-dialkyl-5-(polyfluoroalkyl)pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline-2,4(1H,3H)-diones (5-polyfluoroalkyl-5-deazaalloxazines). The reactivity of these compounds towards nucleophilic reagents, such as sodium cyanoborohydride, acetophenone, nitromethane, potassium cyanide, indole and p-thiocresol, as well as Suzuki and Sonogashira couplings are described. The nucleophilic addition takes place at the 5-position of the 5-deazaalloxazine system and is in many cases irreversible to give 5,10-dihydropyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline-2,4(1H,3H)-dione derivatives in good to excellent yields.© 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry

(β-D-ribofuranosyl)formamidine in the design and synthesis of 2-(β-D-ribofuranosyl)pyrimidines, including RF-containing derivatives
A wide range of novel 2-(β-D-ribofuranosyl)pyrimidines, including RF-containing derivatives, have been synthesized by the reaction of (β-D-ribofuranosyl)formamidine with various dielectrophilic substrates such as 3-alkoxy- and 3-chloro-1-(polyfluoroalkyl)propen-1-ones, 3-nitro- and 3-(phenylethynyl)chromones and heteroaryl acetylenic ketones. Polyfluoroalkyl-containing 2-(β-D-ribofuranosyl)pyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized by the reaction of (β-D-ribofuranosyl)formamidine with dielectrophilic substrates such as 3-alkoxy- and 3-chloro-1-(polyfluoroalkyl) propen-1-ones, 3-nitro- and 3-(phenylethynyl)chromones and heteroaryl acetylenic ketones. Efficient synthesis of novel benzo[b][1,8]naphthyridin-4(1H)-ones and pyrido[2,3-b]quinoxalin-4(1H)-ones from alkynones and primary amines
An efficient palladium-catalyzed cyclization of o-chlorohetaryl ynones with aliphatic and aromatic primary amines represents a simple access to a wide range of benzo[b][1,8]naphthyridin-4(1H)-one and pyrido[2,3-b]quinoxalin-4(1H)- one derivatives in good to excellent yields. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. Efficient synthesis of novel thieno[3,2-b]-, [2,3-c]- and [3,2-c]pyridones by Sonogashira coupling of bromothiophenes with terminal alkynes and subsequent intramolecular C-N bond-forming reaction
The coupling of bromothiophenes with terminal alkynes using triethylamine or diisopropyl amine under Sonogashira conditions (PdCl2(PPh 3)2, CuI) followed by subsequent addition of amines or ammonium to the intermediate thienyl acetylenes represents a novel access to a wide range of thieno[3,2-b]-, [2,3-c]-, and [3,2-c]pyridones under basic conditions and in excellent yields. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. Photo and mechanochemically induced reduction of nitroarenes using ammonia borane
This study presents an advanced approach for the reduction of nitroarenes to anilines, employing cucurbit[7]uril as a catalyst and ammonia borane as a hydrogen source, signifying noteworthy progression in photochemical supramolecular catalysis. Expanding the capability of ammonia borane, a mechanochemical reduction approach for the same reaction has also been established. Additionally, the developed mechanochemical protocol was successfully extended for similar types of synthetic scenarios, including (a) reductive amidation of nitro compounds with carboxylic acids and (b) amidation of carboxylic acids. The products of these reactions i.e., anilines and amides, are indispensable precursors in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other chemically significant entities
Tandem dinucleophilic cyclization of cyclohexane-1,3-diones with pyridinium salts
The cyclization of cyclohexane-1,3-diones with various substituted pyridinium salts afforded functionalized 8-oxa-10-aza-tricyclo[7.3.1.02,7]trideca-2(7),11-dienes. The reaction proceeds by regioselective attack of the central carbon atom of the 1,3-dicarbonyl unit to 4-position of the pyridinium salt and subsequent cyclization by base-assisted proton migration and nucleophilic addition of the oxygen atom to the 2-position, as was elucidated by DFT computations. Fairly extensive screening of bases and additives revealed that the presence of potassium cations is essential for formation of the product
Комплексная медицинская реабилитация больных острой пневмонией и место физиотерапии в ней
Cumulating literature data and own studies the authors define the role of physical methods in complex rehabilitation treatment of patients with acute pneumonia. These methods choice is based on the clinical pathogenetical analysis of process course evolution, its syndromologic characterics. Physiotherapeutic methods supplement and potentiate ethyotropic treatment. During the bacterial agression phase, the positive action on the infiltration forming syndrome is provided by aerosol inhalational sanation of bronchi. The antiinflammatory treatment as well UHF, inductoheating, microwaves, peloid therapy, laser radiation are nessesary for the later resolve of the infiltrate. During the morphologic recovery and the reconvalescence stage, the antiinflammatory physiotherapy continues. The bronchial obstruction syndrome persistention is the cause for ultrasonic therapy, euphilline phonophoresis, and ozokerit application use. The astcnic vegetatic impairments syndrome in reconvalescents is the cause for halvanic collar, electric sleep, electric analgesia, and hydrotherapy use. The out-patient’s clinic (the department of rehabilitational therapy) is the main place of rehabilitation of reconvalescents with acute pneumonia. The lingering and complicated course of acute pneumonia causes the necessity of sanatorial rehabilitation both in local and cimatic sanatoriums with later dispanserization during the year.Авторы статьи, обобщив литературные данные и собственный опыт, определяют место, занимаемое физическими методами в комплексном восстановительном лечении больных острой пневмонией. Выбор этих методов основывается на клинико-патогенетическом анализе эволюции течения процесса, его синдромологических характеристик. Методы физиотерапии дополняют и потенцирую этиотропное лечение. В фазе бактериальной агрессии положительное влияние на синдром формирования инфильтрата оказывает аэрозольно-ингаляционная санация бронхов. Для последующего рассасывания инфильтрата требуется противовоспалительная терапия (УВЧ, инлуктотермия, микроволны, пелоидотерапия, лазерное облучение). В ходе морфологического восстановления, в фазе реконвалесценции, продолжается противовоспалительная физиотерапия. Персистенция синдрома бронхиальной обструкции — показание для применения ультразвуковой терапии, фонофореза эуфиллина, аппликаций озокерита. Синдром астеновегетативных нарушений у реконвалеснентов — показание для гальванического воротника, электросна и электроаналгезии, водолечения. Основным местом реабилитации реконвалеснентов острой пневмонии является поликлиника (отделение восстановительной терапии). Затяжное и осложненное течение острой пневмонии создает показание к санаторной реабилитации как на местных, так и на климатических курортах с последующей диспансеризацией в течение года
