Different functions linked to a preface (presentation of the work, author’s intent communicaJon, defence instrument) are all found in Chevrier’s production. François‐Antoine Chevrier (1721‐1762) is known as one of the most problematic author in the eighteenth century because of his satirical and polemical vein which causes continuous and repeated attacks during two centuries. Chevrier only writes a post‐preface which, it is not a case, accompanies Le colporteur, his most famous novel. The author writes a post‐preface to defend himself telling to have painted only personalities whose scandals are well known by society. Multicultural Teams: From variables to configurations.

It argues that in order to grasp national cultures and discover team members' sense -making systems, it is necessary to understand the extent to which the actors diverge or converge in managing collective action. Based on the members'national and professional profiles, institutional contexts and interaction modes as well as their differences in goals, Chevrier proposes 5 types of intercultural teams: strategic coordination teams, mixed operational teams, project teams, professional teams and quasi-homogenous teams. The author also maintains that cross-cultural management may be derived from the general processes of coordination which can be classifed under two categories - interpersonal coordination and interpersonal coordination. The first category includes mutual adjustment and direct supervision. The second category encompasses the standardization of processes, results and values (through organizational ideology) and skills The configurational framework delineates how each type of team can use different cross-cultural management modes to enhance its effectiveness

No full textRoumaite, (Ca,Na,square)(3)(Ca,REE,Na)(4)(Nb,Ti)[Si2O7](2)(OH)F-3, a new mineral species, occurs as a late-stage product in cavities of peralkaline nepheline syenites on Rouma Island, in the Los Archipelago, in Guinea; associated minerals are aegirine, albite, analcime, arfvedsonite, catapleiite, a eudialyte-group member, microcline, sodalite, sphalerite, steacyite and villiaumite. Roumaite is monoclinic, space group Cc, with cell parameters a 7.473(2), b 11.294(2), c 18.778(4) angstrom, beta 101.60(2)degrees, V 1552.5(6) angstrom(3), Z = 4. The modular structure of roumaite consists of stacks of tobermorite-like layers, "octahedral" layers and disilicate groups; it is closely related to dovyrenite

Challenges for Na-ion Negative Electrodes
No full textNa-ion batteries have been proposed as candidates for replacing Li-ion batteries. In this paper we examine the viability of Na-ion negative electrode materials based on Na alloys or hard carbons in terms of volumetric energy density. Due to the increased size of the Na atom compared to the Li atom, Na alloys would lead to negative electrode materials with roughly half the volumetric energy density of their Li analogs. Volumetric energy densities obtainable with sodiated hard carbons would also be significantly less than those obtainable with lithiated graphite.
