Woman and their decision making can play an important role to control the success of family planning program (KB). The tendency of women dominance on decision making in the family can support KB effectiveness. Family welfare then can be achieved, depends on the success rate of KB, thus to be a control tool to the family. This study is to analyze how far women can influence the decision making to KB program, and then to see how it construct the family welfare. The analysis results the women dominance to decision making, impacting to KB success rate itself. KB program can be counted as successful based on criteria such as high KB acceptors, ideal number of children, reproductive morbidity, and suitable age of marriage. A success KB program can extent family welfare

Since the last five years, the consumer goods sector has been enlivened by a variety of chocolate drinks produced from various brands. Eating chocolate has been shown to lower a person's blood pressure (Davison et al., 2009). In addition to instantly enjoyed, chocolate drinks are also available in beverage outlets in Indonesia. Chocolate drinks have also created new consumption patterns that are part of life style in various layers of generations (Hewlett and Wadsworth 2012). Torsina (2000) mentions that the growth of outlets characterized by both traditional and modern increases in recent years. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of attitudes on behavior, subjective norms and perceptions of behavior control on consumer intention through the theory of planned behavior in consuming chocolate drink. Theory of planned behavior is a theory that explains the predictions of individual-specific behavior toward behavioral intentions through the three best predictive variables of attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms of behavior, and perceptions of behavioral control. The design of this study used cross-sectional study. Descriptive data analysis method using SPSS, presented in tables and cross tabulation and then tested using Chi Square. While the method of data analysis TPB (Theory of planned behavior) using Structural Equation Modeling-PLS (SEM-PLS). SEM-PLS is an analytical method for evaluating statistically structural parameters of various indicators, latent and overall constructs of a model, Sumarwan et al. (2015). The measurement model in this study uses 24 indicators that reflect the three latent variables. The SEM-PLS model used to answer the factors affecting the consumption intentions of chocolate beverages shows that all indicators have load factor value> 0.5. The results show that the PLS model meets the requirements of good convergent validity and all latent constructs have good, accurate and consistent reliability. Determination of the sample is done by purposive, that is the consumer connected with the researcher on social networking Path. Link questionnaires are distributed online. The sample unit in this study is the individual who is in accordance with the sampling procedure. Referring to Hoyle 1995 in Kwong and Wong 2013, the number of samples used in this study amounted to 212 people. This study consisted of three latent variables of attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perception of behavior control. Each latent variable has two dimensions. Each dimension is a reflection of four indicators. Each indicator is measured using question instrument in the form of questionnaires. The measurement scale used in this study is the interval scale. Attitude measurement is done through five assessment intervals. The results showed 71.7% of respondents enjoyed chocolate in the form of food and the rest enjoyed chocolate in the form of beverages. The biggest reason consumers consume chocolate is because chocolate has a good taste and can improve the positive mood. The majority of respondents are male, unmarried and under the age of 30 years. As many as 96% of respondents have college education background. Types of occupation of respondents dominated by private employees as much as 49%. While respondents with household expenses above three million rupiah as much as 54% and respondents with food and beverage expenditure accounted for as much as 47%. The result of bootstrapping on SEM-PLS model is reflected by three exogenous variables such as attitudes toward consumption behavior, subjective consumption norm, and perception of consumption behavior control. Attitudes toward behavioral behavior and perception control significant effect on consumption intention with t-statistic value of each of 7,791 and 5,998. While the subjective norm of consuming chocolate drink has no significant effect on consumption intention with t-statistic value less than 1.96 that is equal to 0880. The structural model of consumption intention gives R square 54.5% meaning that consumption intention can be explained by attitudes toward behavior and perception of consumption behavior control of 50.5% while the remaining 49.5% is explained by other factors outside the model. In conclusion, the more positive attitudes toward consumption behavior and perception of consumption behavior control, the higher the intention of consumption of chocolate drinks to consumers. Managerial implications can be formulated with marketing strategies 7P where manufacturers and distributors of chocolate drinks need to increase consumer confidence on the importance of chocolate drinks and ease of consumption, for example by writing in the packaging and visual advertising. In addition, efficient pricing, instant practical packaging, and increased availability in the market

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
