Formulasi dan Uji Efek Anti – Aging dari Krim Mengandung Ekstrak Kulit Buah Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia (Chrism. & Panzer) Swingle
Background: Anti-aging is a preparation which meant to prevent or put a slowpace to skin aging such as wrinkle, spot, rough skin and increase size of pores. Citrus aurantifolia contain flavonoid can prevent further aging process and enhance skin health. Flavanoid act as antioxidant by neutralizing radical agents, controls enzymatic process and also decrease cell proliferation pace.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to formulate anti-aging cream by using rind of lime extract and to know how rind of lime extract to give effect anti-aging.
Method: formulate anti-aging cream of citrus aurantifolia rind with following concentration 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%, quality check on cream form (homogeneity test, pH test, determination of emulsion type, stability test, irritation test), grouping of volunteers, and test of anti aging effect (moisture, pore, spot, wrinkle).
Result: Based on experimental results, all homogenized cream had acidity level 5.8-6.7, and maintain it’s respective stabillity for 12 weeks in room temperature. All Citrus aurantifolia cream showed anti-aging effect such as: decreased wrinkle, eliminated spot , and reduced pores. Every extract didn’t showed skin irritation.
Conclusion: According to results it can be concluded, that citrus aurantifolia extract can be formulated in anti-aging cream. Rind of lime Citrus aurantifolia in giving effect anti-aging effective time is 4 week with concentration 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%.Latar Belakang: Anti-aging merupakan suatu sediaan yang berguna mencegah atau memperlambat efek penuaan seperti adanya keriput, noda hitam, kulit kasar dan pori-pori membesar. Kulit buah jeruk nipis mengandung flavonoid yang mampu mencegah penuaan dan dapat meningkatkan kesehatan kulit. Flavonoid berfungsi sebagai antioksidan yang dapat menangkal radikal bebas, mengatur aktivitas enzimatik serta menghambat proliferasi sel.
Tujuan: Untuk memformulasi sedian krim anti-aging dengan menggunakan ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dan untuk mengetahui apakah sediaan krim ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dapat memberikan efek anti-aging.
Metode penelitian: Pembuatan krim anti-aging ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dengan konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%,7,5%, dan 10%, pemeriksaan terhadap uji sediaan (uji homogenitas, uji pH, penentuan tipe emulsi, uji stabilitas sediaan, uji iritasi), pengelompokan sukarelawan dan uji efek anti-aging selama 4 minggu seperti (Kadar air (moisture), besar pori (pore), banyaknya noda (spot), dan keriput (wrinkle)).
Hasil: Semua sediaan krim homogen, memiliki pH 5,8 – 6,7, stabil dalam penyimpanan selama 12 minggu pada suhu kamar. Semua sediaan krim ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis mempunyai efek anti-aging seperti : mengurangi keriput, menghilangkan noda hitam dan mengecilkan pori-pori. Krim ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis tidak mengiritasi kulit.
Kesimpulan: Ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dapat diformulasikan dalam sediaan anti-aging. Sediaan krim ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dalam memberikan efek anti-aging adalah 4 minggu dengan konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, dan 10%.Skripsi Sarjan

Pelatihan pembuatan dan cara penggunaan sabun cair cuci tangan yang merupakan salah satu prosedur yang sangat penting dalam mencegah penularan virus dilakukan dengan cara temu muka dengan jumlah peserta terbatas dan penggunaan protokol kesehatan yang ketat. EDUKASI DAN PENGENALAN MANFAAT JUS BUAH BIT (Beta vulgaris L.) SEBAGAI MENCEGAH PENUAAN DINI
Penuaan atau aging merupakan perubahan manusia yang diakibatkan oleh faktor usia, psikologi, dan sosial. Pada umumnya aging diartikan sebagai perubahan fisik manusia. Perubahan fisik dapat dihambat dengan salah satunya menggunakan anti aging seperti obat atau kosmetik (Maria, 2007). Penuaan juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor reactitive oxygen species (ROS)yang dihasilkan dalam sel. ROS adalah produk sampingan dari respirasi aerobic yang terlibat dalam beberapa modifikasi reaksi seluler seperti paparan logam berat, radiasi pengion maupun zat anti oksidan. Secara normal ROS dapat dihilangkan oleh adanya antioksidan endogen seperti superoksida dismutase (SOD, katalase (CAT), glutathione peroksidase (GPx) dan glutathione reduktase (GR) (Nur et.al, 2017)Metode yang dilakukan pada Pengabdian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dimana data vitamin C dan aktivitas antioksidan kombinasi jus buah bit didapatkan melalui pemeriksaan laboratorium secara kuantitatif. Dalam Pengabdian Putri (2016) aktivitas antioksidan buah bit memiliki nilai IC50 79,73 µg/mL yang termasuk kategori kuat Kandungan gizi dalam makanan atau minuman, dalam hal ini zat besi dan vitamin C dalam kombinasi jus buah bit perlu dianalisis agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui jumlah yang harus dikonsumsi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan zat gizi harian. Selain itu sebagai upaya mencegah penuaan dini. Edukasi dan pengenalan manfaat jus buah bit (Beta vulgaris L.) sebagai mencegah penuaan dini pada masyarakat perlu dilakukan agar pemanfaatan jus buah bit semakin baik di masyrakat. Jus buah bit dengan kandungan zat besi, vitamin C dan aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi adalah formulasi K4 yang terbuat dari 25% buah bit dan 75%. Sosialisasi Kandungan Fenol Dan Flavonoid Herba Puguntano (Picriafel Terrae) Pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Farmasi Pharmaca
Herba puguntano (Picriafel terrae) famili Scropulariaceae, merupakan tanaman herba tahunan yang berfungsi sebagai obat tradisional untuk mngobati demam, diare, dan diabetes. Kandungan utama dalam herba puguntano yaitu senyawa metabolit fenol dan flavonoid. Flavonoid merupakan senyawa fenol dan termasuk salah satu metabolit sekunder pada tumbuhan yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan farmasi pharmaca medan mengenai kandungan fenol dan flavonoid herba puguntano sebagai pengobatan. Hasil Kegiatan pelaksanaan ini memberikan informasi tentang kandungan fenol dan flavonoid herba puguntano sebagai pengobatan untuk mengobati berbagai jenis penyakit. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini dapat terlaksana sesuai pelaksanaan dan rencana, mendapatkan sambutan baik dari Kepala sekolah, para pengajar dan siswa- siswi yang sekiranya mendapatkan informasi serta pngetahuan
FORMULASI SEDIAAN LIP BALM YANG MENGANDUNG EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN KOPI ARABIKA (Coffea arabica L.) SEBAGAI PELEMBAB BIBIR
Lip balm is a preparation that is applied to the lips and functions as a moisturizer by forming an immiscible oil layer on the surface of the lips. Arabica coffee plants contain phenolic and flavonoid compounds that act as antioxidants and flavonoids are also considered to protect the body from the effects of free radicals and environmental pollution which are good for the lips. The purpose of this study was to formulate lip balm using Arabica coffee leaf extract and to evaluate its effectiveness as a lip balm.
Arabica coffee leaves were extracted by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent and concentrated with a rotary evaporator. Arabica coffee leaf extract was formulated with concentrations, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%, as a blank used lip balm base. Tests on lip balm preparations include organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, pH measurements, strength tests, melting point tests, irritation tests and stability tests for preparations with parameters such as odor, color and pH during 28 days of storage. Testing the ability of the preparation to moisturize using a skin analyzer once a week for 28 days. The results showed that all lip balm preparations were homogeneous, had a pH of 5.6-6.2 and were stable for 12 weeks of storage. The preparation of pomegranate peel extract lip balm with a concentration of 10% can provide the best lip moisturizing effect to restore lip skin after 4 weeks. All lip balm preparations of Arabica coffee leaf extract do not irritate the skin. Lip balm preparation with 10% arabica coffee leaf extract concentration showed effectiveness as the best lip balm
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
