No full textThe presentation I am submitting to your attention focuses on how the University of Bucharest operated during the 1980’s, a very difficult period for Romania. As to be expected, the University of Bucharest, like the entire Romanian education system, took the full blow of communist experimental policies, reflecting quite accurately the general developments of the political system in Romania in the 1980s. The structure of Bucharest University, the curriculum, acceptance of the students via admission exams as well as the process of assignment of graduates from University of Bucharest to production units in the 1980’s, are aspects of university life which were all affected by profound changes during the period subject to the research, leading to a genuine phenomenon in the Romanian society. The way these changes were reflected in the cultural mindset and the traumas generated by them are all points of interest addressed in my presentation

No full textIn the last decades the corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been a major subject both for universities, civil society and businesses. Although the CSR concept is especially promoted by large multinational and transnational corporations, it has become also a prominent issue for universities. Social responsibility represents more than a challenge for universities. It has to be a purpose of the universities, taking into account that young people formation also means creating a high level of awareness about the need to involve members of society in solving social problems. The design parameters for the biological process are related to the varying food waste content of the input. Values come from pilot scale runs. On (α-Φ) Contractions on Partial Hausdorff Metric Spaces

Total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex metric spaces
Get PDFWe approximate common fixed point of a pair of total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the setting of a uniformly convex metric space. The proposed algorithm is computationally simpler than the existing ones in the literature of metric fixed point theory. Our results are new and are valid in Hilbert spaces, CAT(0) spaces and uniformly convex Banach spaces satisfying Opial's property, simultaneously. - 2019, Politechnica University of Bucharest.
