UPACARA PERAN DUA KERAJAAN DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN MALABOT TUMPE/TUMBE DI SULAWESI TENGAH

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the two kingdoms in maintaining the implementation of the Malabot tumpe / Tumbe ceremony, as well as to find out some things that hindered the Banggai community\u27s participation in the ceremony. This study uses Radcliffe Brown\u27s theory; thinking about structural functionalism. The results showed that the Banggai Kingdom and the Matindok Kingdom had sought legal legitimacy over the ownership of customary land in the area precisely in the Bakiriang forest so that the maleo bird was well preserved in the area. This condition has implications for the survival of the tumpe / tumbe ceremony in Banggai. The Matindok kingdom delivers maleo eggs to the Banggai kingdom and then the Banggai kingdom picks up the eggs and shares them with the rightful ones. However, the inclusion of outside culture, the existence of jobs, the existence of social jealousy, and a lack of understanding of the culture itself resulted in a decline in the participation of the Banggai royal community in the implementation of the malabot tumbe ceremony. The relationship between the kingdom of Banggai and the kingdom of Matindok in maintaining the ceremony of Malabot tumpe / Tumbe is very close and has mutual attachments to each other because the ceremony of Malabot Tumpe / Tumbe is an ancestral cultural heritage that must be maintained and preserved by the two kingdoms. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    No full text
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    No full text
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Although the share of industry in GDP remained stable, it underwent significant fundamental changes. During this period, as a process of product restructuring, when a gross value was adjusted, production increased at current prices by 8 percent per annum. Then in 2004-09, the GDP growth rate increased to 20%. At the same prices, the annual but significant increase in employment was also 7.5 percent per annum. The work participation rate was 39.2 percent in 2009-10. Of these, 53 percent were in agriculture and the remaining 47 percent were in non-agricultural sectors. For the first time in the late 2000s, the number of perfect workers in the agricultural sector decreased. Unemployment in the economy as a whole has come down from 8.3 percent in 2004-05 to 6.6 percent in 2009-10. We can say that the Indian economy has performed well since 1991 but now the Indian economy is going through another turbulent period. The growth rate of the Indian economy has been slowing down since 2014. In addition to this, Kovid 19 has spread its legs in India and has slowed down the growth rate. The research paper will conclude the study of the Indian economy from 2014 to 2020, as well as three economic sectors

This research aims to determine and analyze the forms, parties involved, and challenges faced in implementing collaborative governance in the Malabot Tumbe Festival activities in Banggai Laut Regency, Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with 10 informants, with a research location in Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, carried out on July 10-17, 2024. The study results show that the Malabot Tumbe Festival in Banggai Laut Regency reflects the success of cross-sector collaboration in preserving local culture through a collaborative governance approach. Local governments, indigenous leaders, communities, the private sector, and the media work together to ensure the continuity of this tradition. Key factors include trust, effective communication, visionary leadership, and resource support. However, challenges such as differences in interests, budget limitations, and lack of participation of certain groups remain. With continuous evaluation, this festival positively impacts cultural preservation, economic empowerment, and tourism and strengthens the community\u27s collective identity, making it an example of success in cultural and regional development
