Developing an app proposal for tuk tuk service management
No full textIn most tuk tuk companies, outdated methods are used in the daily management of the company, which makes the processes slow and time-consuming. So, it was found that it was necessary to use information technologies to make tuk tuk companies more effective in daily management. Therefore, the main objective of this project was the development of an application, that works like an information system, for tuk tuk companies. The requirement gathering carried out, allowed conclusions to be reached about the type of information that was to be relevant in the application as well as its functionalities. It was concluded that it is necessary to have two types of applications, a mobile and a desktop. The App brings advantages related to the reduction of errors in the database, overview and knowledge of the employees’ work, and improvement in time management that can increase the productivity of the company’s managers.info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersio

No full textWhile similarity and analogy have traditionally been viewed as involving distinct psychological processes, the thesis of this dissertation is that similarity and analogy invoke the
same mapping process. This thesis is supported by a growing body of evidence (Markman
& Gentner, 1993a, 1993b, 1996; Gentner & Markman, 1997; Goldstone, 1994; Goldstone
& Medin, 1994; Larkey & Markman, 2004). The main contribution of this dissertation is
a unified account of similarity judgment and analogical mapping. This account is instantiated as Tuk-Tuk, a localist connectionist model of similarity and analogy that determines
a mapping between representations via a dynamic process of interactive activation among
feature, object, and relation correspondences. Tuk-Tuk differs from extant models of similarity and analogy in its ability to account for both patterns of similarity ratings and
benchmark phenomena of analogy. In this dissertation, Tuk-Tuk’s performance is tested
and contrasted with other models using a broad set of simulations, including simulations

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Pengaruh Dosis Pupuk Kandang Jangkrik Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Cepa Var. Agregatum L.) Varietas Tuk Tuk. Percobaan dilaksanakan di desa Rancabango kecamatan Patokbeusi kabupaten Subang dari bulan Maret 2017 sampai bulan Juni 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dalam enam ulangan dan empat perlakuan berbagai dosis pupuk kandang jangkrik. Perlakuan berbagai dosis pupuk kandang jangkrik terdiri dari : A = 0,0 g, B = 37,5 g, C = 50 g, D = 62,5 g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan berbagai dosis pupuk kandang jangkrik berpengaruh terhadap berbagai variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil Bawang merah varietas tuktuk. Perlakuan konsentrasi 50 g memperlihatkan perolehan tertinggi hampir pada semua variable yang diamati seperti tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter umbi, jumlah umbi, bobot umbi per polybag tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 2 MST dan jumlah daun pada 2 MST
