No full textTradisi dalam pengertian sederhana adalah kebiasaan atau secara definitive yaitu sesuatu yang telah dilakukan sejak lama dan menjadi bagian dari kehidupan suatu kelompok masyarakat. Tradisi yang dilaksanakan di Pabrik Gula biasa disebut dengan Tradisi Selamatan Cembengan dan salah satu yang melaksanakan adalah PG-PS Madukismo. Penelitian mengenai Tradisi Selamatan Cembengan menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif, di mana narasumber yang ditentukan dipilih secara sengaja dengan cara wawancara mendalam. Tradisi Selamatan Cembengan di PG-PS Madukismo dilaksanakan setahun sekali, biasanya di Bulan April dengan hari pasaran khusus, yaitu legi. Tradisi Selamatan Cembengan ini dilaksanakan sebagai ucapan rasa syukur atas hasil panen tebu yang melimpah dan sebagai permohonan doa supaya proses giling tebu di PG-PS Madukismo berjalan dengan lancar tanpa suatu halangan apapun. Rangkaian acara inti yang dilaksanakan dalam Selamatan Cembengan yaitu ancak-ancak, ziarah leluhur, kirab tebu manten, penyembelihan kambing kendit, doa bersama serta pasar malam. Dengan adanya pasar malam tersebut diharapkan dapat menjalin hubungan baik antara pabrik dengan masyarakat sekitar

No full textSektor pertanian mempunyai peran yang sangat penting pada perekonomian di Indonesia. Salah satu subsector yang berperan yaitu subsector perkebunan. Salah satu tanaman perkebunan yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi yaitu tebu, di mana tebu merupakan bahan baku utama dari Industri gula. Penelitian dengan judul manajemen sistem rantai pasok tebu sebagai bahan baku proses produksi di PG. Madukismo bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem rantai pasok dan indikator penting dari proses pengadaan bahan baku, proses produksi hingga distribusi gula. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana dalam penentuan lokasi dan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah narasumber yang terpilih, yaitu General Manager, Kepala Bagian Tanaman, Kepala Seksi Proses, Bagian Pemasaran serta karyawan terkait di PG. Madukismo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sistem rantai pasok pada bidang bahan baku, bidang proses produksi dan bidang pemasaran mempunyai indikator penting masing-masing, di mana secara garis besar indikator tersebut adalah tebu tunda giling, sistem proses ACD, dan sistem distribusi gula.

Sugar Cane Farmer’S Social Capital And Partnership In PG. Madukismo
No full textPurpose : The aim of this research is to determine the partnership system that operates in PG. Madukismo and knowing the social capital in the partnership. Methodology : The research method used was descriptive qualitative, while the sampling method used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 30 sugar cane farmers. Results : The research results show that the social capital found in partnerships, namely trust, social norms (reciprocity) and social networks, has an average value of 2.94. Findings : This figure shows that the three elements of social capital are included in the high category in the partnership between sugar cane farmers and PG. Madukismo. Novelty : The partnership system found in PG. Madukismo is the People's Sugarcane Partnership System (TRK) and the Mandiri People's Sugarcane Partnership System (TRM). Originality: This study reveals that social capital in the form of trust, social norms and social networks are very instrumental in the partnership of sugarcane farmers with PG. Madukismo. Conclusion: The partnership system found in PG. Madukismo is the People's Sugarcane Partnership System (TRK) and the Mandiri People's Sugarcane Partnership System (TRM). Sektor pertaniaan dengan sub sektor perkebunan memiliki peran yang penting dalam aktivitas perekonomian di Indonesia. Salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi adalah tebu, di mana tebu merupakan bahan baku utama yang diolah di Pabrik Gula sehingga menghasilkan gula kristal putih. Penelitian dengan judul kajian pola bagi hasil antara petani tebu dengan pabrik gula di PG. Madukismo bertujuan mengetahui pola bagi hasil yang terjadi antara petani tebu dengan pabrik gula dan mengetahui alur distribusi bagi hasil gula di PG. Madukismo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penentuan lokasi dan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah petani tebu yang berada di Wilayah Barat dan petani tebu yang berada di Wiilayah Timur dengan jumlah masing-masing 10 orang petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola bagi hasil antara petani tebu dengan pabrik gula menunjukkan bagian sebesar 34% untuk pabrik dan 66% untuk petani, di mana 90% dibagi dalam bentuk gula dan 10% berupa natura. Pola bagi hasil tersebut khusus berlaku di PG. Madukismo di mana perjanjian bagi hasil tersebut dibuat berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama dengan masa berlaku 1 tahun dan akan diperpanjang pada tahun berikutnya.

No full textPartnership is a form of cooperation that exists between two parties, where the relationship provides benefits to each other. Partnership cooperation is generally agreed in writing and includes clear rights and obligations between both parties. The commitment that occurs between both parties is the main key in the parthership system. In addition, the role of social capital in the form of trust, norms and social networks is also needed to support the sustainability of partnership, in this case tea farmers and PT. Pagilaran. This research aims to determine the tea farmer partnership system at PT. Pagilaran Afgdeling Samigaluh and find out the role of social capital in the tea farmer partnership system at PT. Pagilaran Afdeling Samigaluh. The method used in this reseach are survey and descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research results show that the partnership system thah exists between tea farmers and PT. Pagilaran Afdeling Samigaluh is a pure partnership system (buy and drop). Apart of that, social capital in the form of trust, norms and social networks in the partnership system between tea farmers and PT. Pagilaran Afdeling Samigaluh plays a very important role in maintaining the sustainability of the partnership and of course still pays attention to the rights and obligations of each parties

No full textThe level of productivity is a requirement for determining the parameters of a company's success in facing business competition and increasing company revenue. This study aims to analyze the productivity of the sugarcane cutting workforce and what are the factors that influence the productivity of the sugarcane cutting workforce. The data used is primary data using a questionnaire which is then analyzed using multiple linear regression, then transformed into natural logarithmic form (Ln) which aims to minimize any violations of the assumptions of normality and classical assumptions. In addition to primary data, there is also secondary data taken from existing data in the company. This research was conducted to coincide with the harvest season in September 2022. The average productivity of sugarcane harvesters in a day is 7.59 quintals. The factors that influence the productivity of labor in the sugarcane harvest are the age of the worker, family responsibilities, the area of land that can be harvested and compensation

No full textThis research aims to discover the suitability of the rights and obligations of the owners of the land, the helmsman and the crews; finding out the value of the investment and operating costm the revenue of the owners of the land, the helmsman and the crews profit sharing system and management of fishing attempt; finding out the effect of social capital ( trust, norms, social networks)and non social capital ( education, age, experience) towards the result of fishing. The sample of respondents were the owners of motor vessels using gillnet and handline fishing gears, the helmsman and the crews.Data analysis tool used was the Likert Scale which was then processed using multiple linear regressions. This research result showed that the owners of the land are obliged to provide the means of production and the operating cost during the fishing attempt and has the right to determine their fish catch marketing chain. The helmsman takes full responsibility during the fishing attempt including supervising the crews work, and the crews are obliged to work well during fishing. The systems of revenue sharing is 50%-50%. The ratio of net income towards the cost of the land owners, the helmsman, and the crews is bigger than the interest rate. The phase of the managements of fishing attempt includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation. Social capital in the form of trust and norms as well as non-social capital in the form of education and experience give positive effects to inceas fish catch

No full textAbstrak: Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor unggulan penggerak ekonomi masyarakat. Namun saat ini pertanian Indonesia mengalami berbagai permasalahan, antara lain generasi muda yang berminat di bidang pertanian semakin sedikit dan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada semakin menurun. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) untuk menumbuhkan minat dan keperdulian generasi muda terhadap bidang pertanian, 2) meningkatkan pengetahuan anak mengenai pertanian dan manfaatnya bagi kehidupan manusia, 3) menumbuhkan jiwa produktif anak di masa new normal, 4) meningkatkan ketrampilan mitra dalam budidaya tanaman hortikultura secara vertikultur. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan mengenai pertanian dan manfaatnya, penyuluhan budidaya tanaman secara vertikultur, melakukan pelatihan budidaya tanaman hortikultura secara vertikultur dan dengan media polybag. Pihak mitra adalah Lembaga Pendidikan TPA Sokopuro dengan melibatkan 6 orang pengasuh dan 40 anak. Hasil yang diperoleh: 1) minat dan pengetahuan anak pada bidang pertanian maningkat menjadi 91%, 2) ) munculnya jiwa kreatif dan produktif anak di masa new normal, 3) ketrampilan mitra dalam budidaya tanaman hortikultura dengan teknik vertikultur meningkat menjadi 83%, 4) Pihak mitra memiliki kebun pembelajaran yang edukatif. Abstract: The agriculture sector is leading sector of the community economy. However, currently Indonesia’s agriculture is experiencing various problems, including the younger generation who are less interested in agriculture and the quality of existing human resources is decreasing. This activity aims to: 1) to foster interest and concern for younger generation in the agriculture, 2) increase children’s knowledge about agriculture and its benefits for human life, 3) grow children’s productive spirit in the new normal, 4) improve skill of partner in horticultural crop cultivation in verticulture. This method used counseling about agriculture and benefits, counseling on verticulture cultivation, training on horticultural crop cultivation in verticulture and with polybag media. The partner of the activity is the TPA Sokopuro with involving 6 teacher and 40 children. The activity shows that: 1) children’s interest and knowledge in agriculture increased to 91 %. 2) the growth of creative and productive children in the new normal period, 3) skills of partner in cultivating horticulture crops with verticulture techniques increased to 83%, 4) The partners have an educational learning garden

No full textWomen have an important role in a family. In supporting their role, many women are active in community organizations, one of which is the Women Farmers Group (KWT). However, KWT is often used only for meeting women without any productive activities. Therefore, through this community service program (PKM), it is hoped that it can raise independence for mothers to have productive. The partner in this PKM activity is KWT "Sri Rejeki" which is located in Bantul Regency. The PKM location was chosen with the consideration that KWT had quite a large yard of land and was not managed properly. Based on the situation analysis, it is known that the partners\u27 problems include: yards that have not been managed properly, the activities of the women who have not been productive, the desire of the partners to provide knowledge and skills to members regarding the cultivation of horticultural. The solution to this problem is to carry out participatory extension and empowerment actions by combining direct practices of cultivation horticultural with modern methods. The type of program carried out is to train KWT members on modern cultivation of horticultural crops. After the activity was completed, an evaluation was carried out that the partner\u27s knowledge, skills in plant cultivation and ability to use the land increased. As for the continuation of this PKM activity, it is hoped that the yard will become a productive garden, and partners will have a creative and productive spirit in utilizing their free time
