This board-book version of LM turns out to be quite creative. Ratoncete comes from school every afternoon and goes through the forest looking for adventures. He apparently blasts a horn into the ear of the sleeping lion. Don Leon wants to spank him as a result, but Ratoncete offers an apology, not an offer of help. Later, he happens upon the lion in his trap of ropes. 8 pages, counting both covers. 6½" x 9".Language note: SpanishNo Autho

    Carta Geomorfologica dell'Arcipelago Toscano

I depositi dunari antichi sono frequenti all’Elba e a Pianosa.

    No full text
. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the concept of markets equilibrium: the IS-LM Model. This research uses library research method by using reference sources from books and journals according to the theme. The author uses a qualitative method which is explained graphically, namely the market balance of the IS-LM model where the focus is on money and goods markets associated with macroeconomics where researchers take the side of investors. The results of this study are that the balance in the economy is the point where the IS and LM curves intersect. This point provides an interest rate (r) and income level (Y) that satisfies the equilibrium conditions that occur in the goods market and money market. In other words, planned spending equals actual spending, and the demand for real money balances equals the supply. So that the IS-LM balance, it is stated that IS=LM

[Abstract]In this paper, The author tries to build a Dynamical IS-LM Model. The lnvestment depends on two factors, one is the rate of interest, and the other is the rate of prosperity yield of the investment. I will focus on the second factor. As was shown by Kaldor, the rate of prosperity yield has nonlinear fluctuations. By means of this character, This study proposes an IS-LM model that generates a cycle.departmental bulletin pape

    No full text
This paper discusses the chaotic pseudo-random number generator (CPRNG), which is used in block cipher mode of operation called PM-DC-LM. PM-DC-LM is one of possible subversions of general PM mode. In this paper is not discussed the design of PM-DC-LM, but only CPRNG as a part of it because designing is written in other papers. Possibilities, how to change or to improve CPRNG are mentioned. The final part is devoted for a little testing of CPRNG and some testing data are shown. © 2016 Author(s)

Distribution and seasonal variability of trace elements in atmospheric particulate in the Venice Lagoon.

    No full text
Size distribution and selected element concentrations of atmospheric particulate matter (PM) were\ud investigated in the Venice Lagoon, at three sites characterised by different anthropogenic influence.\ud The PM10 samples were collected in six size fractions (10–7.2, 7.2–3.0, 3.0–1.5, 1.5–0.95; 0.95–0.49\ud and <0.49 lm) with high volume cascade impactors, and the concentration of 17 elements (Al, As, Ca,\ud Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, Sr, V, Zn) was determined by inductively coupled plasma quadrupole\ud mass spectroscopy. More than 1 year of sampling activities allowed the examination of seasonal\ud variability in size distribution of atmospheric particulates and element contents for each site.\ud At all the stations, particles with an aerodynamic diameter <3 lm were predominant, thus accounting\ud for more than 78% of the total aerosol mass concentration. The highest PM10 concentrations for almost all\ud elements were found at the site which is more influenced by industrial and urban emissions. Similarity in\ud size distribution of elements at all sites allowed the identification of three main behavioural types: (a)\ud elements found mainly within coarse particles (Ca, Mg, Na, Sr); (b) elements found mainly within fine\ud particles (As, Cd, Ni, Pb, V) and (c) elements with several modes spread throughout the entire size range\ud (Co, Cu, Fe, K, Zn, Mn).\ud Factor Analysis was performed on aerosol data separately identified as fine and coarse types in order to\ud examine the relationships between the inorganic elements and to identify their origin. Multivariate statistical\ud analysis and assessment of similarity in the size distribution led to similar conclusions on the\ud sources

CF/LM-PAEK: Characterisation and sensitivity to critical process parameters for automated fibre placement

    No full text
This paper presents an investigation into Automated Fibre Placement process parameters for a novel carbon-fibre-reinforced thermoplastic material based on a low-melt polyaryl ether ketone polymer matrix (CF/LM-PAEK). The primary focus of this investigation is in-situ consolidation, with parameter sets for sample manufacturing selected based on a Design of Experiment method and analysed by means of mechanical and thermal testing. For in-situ consolidation, a maximum shear strength of 33.6 MPa and a crystallinity of 27.3% is achieved. Subsequent tempering increases shear strength up to 46.5 MPa and crystallinity up to 32%. The material was found to be insensitive to layup speed within the tested parameter range (1–15 m/min), achieving similar results for high layup speeds

Kata Kunci: Adaptor, Dioda, Penyearah, IC LM 7805 ***** ABSTRACT Fahrul Kurniawan, Adapter Design with 5V DC Output Using IC LM 7805, Comprehensive, Jakarta, Electrical Engineering Technical Education, Technic Faculty, University State of Jakarta Electrical power is energy that humans use in their daily lives. Electrical power is used to turn on or run electronic devices that make human activities easier. In order to use electrical power in electronic devices, it is necessary to convert the power from strong current to weak current. The concept of converting strong current to weak current is implemented in the form of an adapter. In the lesson, the adapter utilizes the concept of a diode as an electric current rectifier. In the Electronics Engineering Education study program, especially at Jakarta State University, the application of the concept of diodes as rectifiers is outlined in the manufacture of DC adapters by students. Using IC LM 7805, the author made a DC adapter with 5V output as an application of the diode concept as a rectifier. The results of the adapter design show that the adapter output measurement results are 5V. This is directly proportional to the nature of the LM 7805 IC which regulates the output voltage entering the IC to 5V. Keywords: Adapter, Diode, Rectifier, IC LM 780

Generalized LM tests for functional form and heteroscedasticity

    No full text
We present a generalized LM test of heteroscedasticity allowing the presence of data transformation and a generalized LM test of functional form allowing the presence of heteroscedasticity. Both generalizations are meaningful as non-normality and heteroscedasticity are common in economic data. A joint test of functional form and heteroscedasticity is also given. These tests are further "studentized" to account for possible excess skewness and kurtosis of the errors in the model. All tests are easy to implement. They are based on the expected information and are shown to possess excellent finite sample properties. Several related tests are also discussed and their finite sample performances assessed. We found that our newly proposed tests significantly outperform the others, in particular in the cases where the errors are non-normal. Copyright 2008 The Author(s). Outcome after pediatric heart transplantation: two decades of a single center experience

    No full text
BACKGROUND: Twenty years after the first successful pediatric heart transplantation (HTx), the long-term outcome of this population is still unknown. Current study analyzes our results in pediatric HTx population. METHODS AND RESULTS: Between 1985 and 2005, we performed 604 HTx. Forty-three patients (7%) were less than 18-years old and six patients were less than 1-year old. Mean age at HTx was 9.7+/-6.3 years (38 days-18 years). Indications were: cardiomyopathy in 33 patients (76%), congenital in 9 (21%), tumor in 1 (3%). Chronic immunosuppression was Cyclosporine A and Azathioprine-based. Overall survival at Kaplan-Meier analysis (CI 95%) was 82.5% at 1-year post-HTx, 73.5% at 5 years, 72.2% at 10 years, 62.1% at 15 years, and 49.3% at 20 years, respectively. We had 14 deaths (32%): 7 within the first year after HTx (early mortality, EM), 7 occurred later (late mortality, LM). Causes of EM were: graft failure (43%), acute rejection (43%) and post transplant lymphoproliferative disease (14%). Causes of LM were: neoplasms (57%), infection (28%), graft vasculopathy (15%). At late follow-up, cardiac function, somatic and psycoaffective development were normal. Fifteen patients (34%) developed neoplasms, nine patients (21%) hypertension, and three patients (8%) developed kidney dysfunction. Neoplasms were found to be an independent predictor of outcome (p=0.039) (OR=7). CONCLUSIONS: Overall survival in the pediatric population is better than adults' population (62.1 vs 48% at 15 years after HTx). Neoplasms were the main comorbidities and causes of LM: at multivariate analysis, their incidence was related with hematic Cyclosporine A levels after 10 years from HTx (p=0.01)
