No full textThis is an attempt of a mimetic interpretation of Acts 5:1‒11. The article juxtaposes the narrative of Ananias and Sapphira with the
story of the sudden death of Nadab and Abihu from Lev 10:1‒7. The Author argues that apart from situational resemblance, both passages are similar on a deeper level: they are set at the beginning of new orders. Ananias and Sapphira are Adam and Eve of the early Christian community and like them violate their marital unity. Since marriage has become a symbol of Christ’s faithful and loving relationship to humanity, the couple’s treacherous connivance constitutes the ‘original sin’ of Christianity. Nevertheless, as a sacrificial text, Acts 5:1‒11 has had a negative influence on Christian religiosity.Autorka podejmuje próbę mimetycznej interpretacji Dz 5,1‒11. W artykule opowiadanie o Ananiaszu i Safirze zostaje zestawione z historią nagłej śmierci Nadaba i Abihu z Kpł 10,1‒7. Autorka stwierdza, że poza sytuacyjnym podobieństwem oba teksty są podobne na głębszym poziomie: umiejscowione są u zarania nowego porządku. Ananiasz i Safira tworzą Adama i Ewę wczesnochrześcijańskiej wspólnoty i podobnie jak oni niszczą małżeńską jedność. Ze względu na to, że małżeństwo stało się symbolem wiernej, miłosnej relacji Chrystusa do ludzkości, oszukańcze współdziałanie pary małżeńskiej z Dz 5,1‒11 stanowi „grzech pierworodny” chrześcijaństwa. No full textThis article intends to demonstrate that the final form of the clusters /ts/ and /dz/ in the Valencian dialect depends upon the behaviour of a series of universal principles referring to the syllabic structure. The author assumes that such restrictions are ranked on a language particular basis, according to the postulates of Optimality Theory (Prince & Smolensky 1993). Then, the outputs for the alveolar clusters will be the result of applying the constraint hierarchy to the set of possible candidates consistent with every input. The different results of the clusters /ts/ and /dz/ in Valencian, and this dialect' s divergences from other Catalan varieties are explained by the differences in the ranking of the principles which each variety presents

Genome Sequence Resource of Alternaria alternata DZ Causing Tobacco Brown Spot
No full textAlternaria alternata is an economically important pathogen that can cause severe plant diseases in various crops, such as citrus, pear, strawberry, and tobacco. Here, we report on the genome sequence of A. alternata DZ causing tobacco brown spot disease in most tobacco-producing areas. A total of 11 contigs, including 10 essential chromosomes and 1 mitochondria genome, were assembled by combining Oxford Nanopore and Illumina sequencing technologies. All 10 assembled chromosomes enabled detection of at least one of the telomeric terminal repeat sequences CCCTAA/TTAGGG. The assembled chromosomes were a total of 34.11 Mb in length with a GC content of 50.95%, whereas the mitochondrial genome was 50,595 bp in length with a GC content of 29.16%. We were unable to identify any evidence of conditionally dispensable chromosomes in the genome of A. alternata DZ, nor were we able to locate any ACT gene orthologs. This genome resource will provide valuable insights for comparative genomics research of the Alternaria genus and serve as a useful resource in investigations of plant-pathogen molecular interactions. No full textDarba autore: Inese Vītola Darba temats – Fonētisko traucējumu korekcija vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem ar skaņu [s], [z], [c], [dz] izrunu. Darbā analizētas vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu skaņu izrunas traucējumu novēršanas iespējas. Darba mērķis ir teorētiski un praktiski izzināt vingrinājumu un rotaļu izmantošanas iespējas priekšējo mēleņu izrunas sekmēšanai. Hipotēze – priekšējo mēleņu [s], [z], [c], [dz] izrunas traucējumu novēršana vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem noritēs sekmīgi, ja logopēds izzinās bērnu skaņu izrunas nepilnības un izmantos vingrinājumus un rotaļas koriģējoši attīstošā darbībā, atbilstīgi bērna specifiskajām vajadzībām. Darba teorētiskajā daļā ir risināti jautājumi par pirmsskolēnu attīstības likumsakarībām un īpatnībām bērniem ar fonētiskiem traucējumiem; skaņu izrunas traucējumiem pedagoģiski psiholoģiskās klasifikācijas skatījumā; par priekšējo mēleņu [s], [z], [c], [dz] izrunas traucējumu novēršanas paņēmieniem un darba posmiem; par vingrinājumiem un rotaļām kā artikulācijas traucējumu novēršanas līdzekļiem. Praktiskajā daļā veikta bērnu grupas logopēdiskā izpēte; koriģējoši attīstošās darbības priekšējo mēleņu izrunas traucējumu novēršanai, izmantojot vingrinājumus un rotaļas; pētījumā iegūto rezultātu dinamiska analīze. Pamatojoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem, izvirzītā hipotēze ir īstenojusies. Atslēgvārdi – fonētiskie traucējumi, vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērni, priekšējo mēleņu izrunas traucējumi, koriģējoši attīstošā darbība. Darbs sastāv no ievada, divām daļām, secinājumiem, ieteikumiem un 16 pielikumiem. The paper analyses the possibilities of eliminating the disturbance of sound pronunciation of children of the oldest preschool age. The aim of the work is to theoretically and practically learn the exercises and possibilities of using the games for promoting the pronunciation of the front tongues. Hypothesis – the prevention of speech disorders with sound [s], [z], [c], [dz] pronunciation in the elder preschool children will be successful if the speech therapist finds out the shortcomings of children's pronunciation of sounds and will use exercises and games in the corrective developmental activity according to the child's specific needs. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the regularities and peculiarities of pre-school development in children with phonetic disorders: sounds pronunciation disorders in terms of pedagogical psychological classification; about the methods and work stages of sound [s], [z], [c], [dz] disorders preventable; on exercises and games as articulation disorder correction means. In the practical part a speech therapy study of the children's group has been performed; corrective developmental activities for the prevention of disturbance of the front language speech using exercises and games; dynamic analysis of the results obtained in the study. Based on the results of the research, the hypothesis proposed has been implemented. Keywords – phonetic disorders, elder pre-schoolers, abnormal speech pronunciation, corrective developmental activities. The paper consists of an introduction, two parts, conclusions, recommendations and 16 annexes. Determinants of changes in the regional urban heat island in metropolitan Phoenix (Arizona, USA) between 1990 and 2004
No full textabstract: We investigated the spatial and temporal variation in June mean minimum temperatures for weather stations in and around metropolitan Phoenix, USA, for the period 1990 to 2004. Temperature was related to synoptic conditions, location in urban development zones (DZs), and the pace of housing construction in a 1 km buffer around fixed-point temperature stations. June is typically clear and calm, and dominated by a dry, tropical air mass with little change in minimum temperature from day to day. However, a dry, moderate weather type accounted for a large portion of the inter-annual variability in mean monthly minimum temperature. Significant temperature variation was explained by surface effects captured by the type of urban DZ, which ranged from urban core and infill sites, to desert and agricultural fringe locations, to exurban. An overall spatial urban effect, derived from the June monthly mean minimum temperature, is in the order of 2 to 4 K. The cumulative housing build-up around weather sites in the region was significant and resulted in average increases of 1.4 K per 1000 home completions, with a standard error of 0.4 K. Overall, minimum temperatures were spatially and temporally accounted for by variations in weather type, type of urban DZ (higher in core and infill), and the number of home completions over the period. Results compare favorably with the magnitude of heating by residential development cited by researchers using differing methodologies in other urban areas.Corresponding Author:
