No full textMitmete ürituste produktsiooni ettevõtete tarneahelad on piiratud läbipaistvusega, mis tähendab, et kõik tegevused ei ole igale osapoolele nähtavad. Sellest tulenevalt on tarneahela üheks puuduseks see, et ei kasutata toimivaid infotehnoloogiaid ja – süsteeme, mis võimaldaks toetada logistilisi operatsioone. Ettevõttes ProTone OÜ on puudulik infotehnoloogiate kasutamine kaupade käsitlemisel ja varude juhtimisel ning see piirab infovoo liikumist. Lõputöö autor uuris oma töös ettevõtte ProTone OÜ tehnika käsitlemise tööprotsesse. Eesmärgiks oli leida sobiv infotehnoloogia, mis aitaks paremini varusid juhtida ja tõstaks kaupade käsitlemise läbipaistvust ning vähendaks võimalike vigade teket protsessiahelas. Eesmärgini jõudmiseks toetus autor uurimisküsimustele. Uurimuses selgus, et infosüsteemi ja –tehnoloogiate puudumise tõttu on kaupade käsitlemisega seotud tööprotsessid probleemsed, vigu esineb tehnika komplekteerimisel ning peale- ja mahalaadimisel. Samuti on protsessides tegevusi, mis ei loo väärtust ning neid on võimalik ära hoida. Töös võrreldi omavahel RFID- ja skannertehnoloogiat ning selle tulemusel selgus, et ettevõttele ProTone OÜ oleks sobivaim esimene. Tuginedes teoreetilisele osale ning uurimistulemustele võib järeldada, et ettevõttes ürituste teenindamisega seotud tehnika käsitlemine muutuks RFID-tehnoloogiat kasutades läbipaistvamaks, kuna kõikide kaupade teekonnad ja asukohad on sellega jälgitavad, mis omakorda välistab kaupade unustamise ja kadumise. Samuti on oluliseks muudatuseks täpsus ehk vigu juhtub vähem, näiteks kaubad ei jääks maha lattu ega üritustele. Enam ei esineks ebausaldusväärset tehnika kohaletoimetamist, lao üle- või puudujääke ning eelnevatest asjaoludest tingitud müügitulu kaotusi. Autor andis ettevõttele ProTone OÜ edasi selged põhjendused ja analüüsi tulemused, miks oleks tarvilik varude juhtimisel ja kaupade käsitlemisel rakendada RFID-tehnoloogiat ja loodab, et lähitulevikus see realiseeritakse. Sama lahendus sobiks ka teistele ürituste produktsiooniga tegelevatele ettevõtetele.Many supply chains for event production companies are limited by transparency, which means that not all activities are visible to every party. Consequently, one of the disadvantages of the supply chain is that there is no use of operational information technologies and systems to support logistical operations. ProTone Ltd. has insufficient use of information technologies in handling goods and managing inventories, and this restricts the flow of information. The author studied in his work audio/visual equipment handling processes of company ProTone Ltd. The purpose of the thesis Possibilities for Increasing the Efficiency of Handling Audio/Visual Equipment Using Information Technology in ProTone Ltd. was to find a suitable information technology that would help to manage inventories better and increase the transparency of the handling of goods and reduce the potential for errors in the process chain. To achieve this goal, the author relied on research questions. The study revealed that due to the lack of information systems and technologies, the work processes related to the handling of goods are problematic, there are errors in the assembly of equipment and loading and unloading. There are also activities in the processes that do not create value and can be prevented. The work compared RFID and scanner technology and as a result it turned out that the first one would be the most suitable for ProTone Ltd. Based on the theoretical part and the research results, it can be concluded that the company's handling of event-related technology would become more transparent using RFID technology, as it traces the routes and locations of all goods, which in turn prevents them from being forgotten and lost. Accuracy is also an important change, i.e. fewer errors occur, for example, goods would not be left in the warehouse or at events. There would be no more unreliable delivery of equipment, stock surpluses or deficits, and loss of sales revenue due to previous circumstances. The author provided ProTone Ltd. with clear justifications and analysis results as to why it would be necessary to apply RFID technology in inventory management and handling of goods and hopes that it will be implemented in the near future. The same solution would be suitable for other companies engaged in the production of events
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
