Perbandingan Hukum Fiqh MTA dengan 4 Madzhab
This thesis The thesis discusses the study and the comparison between the fiqh laws by MTA and the four religious sects that have been admitted by Islam. The major reason why the author does the study is because the existence of MTA as religious missionary endeavor, educational and social foundation. The influence of MTA with its tafseer (interpretation) method and also its strong fiqh statements in the community.
Some of the fiqh statements by MTA need to be re-analyzed/re-examined, since the statements are not in the right line to the four legal Islamic sects, or, the statements are made based on the weak sect’s statements, or, even more, it is made from really weak of sect’s statement, it is not based on the legalized Istidlal (methodology in making a statement). The author makes the limitations of the study that is only about the fiqh statements by MTA with a faith that the mistaken statements by MTA can be analyzed clearly.
The questions that the author wants to find out are: (1) what are the fiqh statements of MTA that must be re-analyzed? (2) What is relied upon the MTA in getting the statements? (3) And, How are the four sects, Is there any similarity of appropriateness between the fiqh statement by MTA and the four sects?. The answer of those questions is the objective of the author to do the study. The methodology of the research is explorative analytical. The author explores the fiqh statements by MTA and the fiqh laws by the four sects, and analyzes it. The materials are taken from MTA brochures from 1995-2015 editions, the literatures, the recordings of audio and video, books of fiqh, both classic and contemporary, academic discussion that is related to the topic. The author also uses comparative method, that is comparing the fiqh statements by MTA and fiqh statements of four sects to find out whether it is appropriate or not, not only in it law but also its methodology in taking the statement.
The conclusion of the thesis is that the basic law used by the MTA is Al-Quran, sunnah, Ijma, and qiyas. But according to MTA, ijma and qiyas are only used for earth life (custom and social life/human interaction), they are not used in worshipping (to Allah).
Even more, some of the fiqh statements by MTA concerning to the fiqh statement matters seemed peculiar to the four sects, e.g: it is fine to have tayamum even though there is water around, it is an obligation for women to have Friday praying at home, etc. There is also that the statements are taken from a very weak among fiqh experts/ jurists, and its impact is so bad to be implemented in the real life for example: a statement about forbidding any kind of food, but based on the prophecy hadith, it is makhruh. But still, of course, there are still the right statements which still in right away with the fiqh statements of four sects.

Gerakan Religio-Kultural MTA Dakwah, Mobilisasi dan Tafsir- Tanding
This article investigates the role of Majelis Tafsir Al-Qur’an (MTA), a dakwah movement operating aminly in Central Java. MTA is known as the Muslim purist movement whose mission focuses on the purification of Islam by utilizing the slogan back to the Qur’an and Sunnah. Using the social movemenet theory, the author analyzes the extent to which MTA uses cultural dakwah or symbolic-cultural mobilization as its dakwah strategy in order to produce counter-interpretation towards the established and hegemonic interpretation of the Javanese culture. Cultural dakwah can mean a bolization process of Javanese symbols by ataching new meaning and interpretation to thos symbols. The author further argues that even though the MTA’s dakwah movement is mainly characterized by confontative attitudes, the MATA has also shown its acomodative character by introducing new new understanding and meaning of the existing cultural symbols. mRNA adenosine methylase (MTA) deposits m6A on pri-miRNAs to modulate miRNA biogenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana
Copyright © 2020 the Author(s). Published by PNAS. In Arabidopsis thaliana, the METTL3 homolog, mRNA adenosine methylase (MTA) introduces N6-methyladenosine (m6A) into various coding and noncoding RNAs of the plant transcriptome. Here, we show that an MTA-deficient mutant (mta) has decreased levels of microRNAs (miRNAs) but accumulates primary miRNA transcripts (pri-miRNAs). Moreover, pri-miRNAs are methylated by MTA, and RNA structure probing analysis reveals a decrease in secondary structure within stem-loop regions of these transcripts in mta mutant plants. We demonstrate interaction between MTA and both RNA Polymerase II and TOUGH (TGH), a plant protein needed for early steps of miRNA biogenesis. Both MTA and TGH are necessary for efficient colocalization of the Microprocessor components Dicer-like 1 (DCL1) and Hyponastic Leaves 1 (HYL1) with RNA Polymerase II. We propose that secondary structure of miRNA precursors induced by their MTA-dependent m6A methylation status, together with direct interactions between MTA and TGH, influence the recruitment of Microprocessor to plant pri-miRNAs. Therefore, the lack of MTA in mta mutant plants disturbs pri-miRNA processing and leads to the decrease in miRNA accumulation. Furthermore, our findings reveal that reduced miR393b levels likely contributes to the impaired auxin response phenotypes of mta mutant plants

Design, synthesis and evaluation of potential MTA prodrugs for the treatment of MTAP-deficient tumors in combination with 5-FU/6-TG/antifolates
Many solid tumors and hematologic malignancies are characterized by a deficiency of the enzyme methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP). MTAP cleaves its natural substrate MTA which is generated during polyamine biosynthesis to adenine via a salvage pathway for AMP production. MTAP deficient cells are unable to salvage adenine from MTA. The difference in the lack of expression of MTAP in tumor cells compared to normal healthy cells has been explored in a therapeutic strategy for selectively killing tumor cells. Antimetabolites such as 5-FU, 6-TG or antifolates disrupt DNA replication and inhibit de-novo purine synthesis through the release of cytotoxic nucleotides generated via phosphorylation using phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate (PRPP). Unfortunately, one major drawback of these cytotoxic nucleotides is that they produce harmful effects on the growth and proliferation of normal cells. To eliminate or reduce the cytotoxicity of these chemotherapeutic drugs and thus increase their therapeutic index, administration of MTA or MTA analogs in conjugation with antimetabolites could prevent damage to healthy MTAP competent cells. This is because adenine generated in this process by MTAP in healthy cells will block the conversion of 5-FU/6-TG to their cytotoxic nucleotides by competing for the rate-limiting pools of PRPP. Since no adenine is produced in tumor cells due to lack of MTAP, PRPP is present in sufficient levels and the co-administered drug can be readily converted to its toxic metabolite. Thus, a high degree of selectivity can be achieved. There are several MTA prodrugs discussed in the literature for delivering MTA to protect MTAP competent cells and proof of concept exists through in vitro studies emphasizing the protective effects of MTA in the presence of antimetabolites. However, there is still no successful clinical trial reported to have co-administered MTA or its analog with an antimetabolite. Also, the optimum dose of MTA that can rescue normal MTAP competent cells without compromising the ability of antimetabolites to selectively kill MTAP deficient tumor cells remains to be identified. In this thesis work, prodrugs of MTA were designed to be activated by the carboxylesterases to release MTA. We explored two types of prodrugs, namely the N-(alkyloxy)carbonyl-MTA derivatives and N-[(acyloxy)alkyloxy]carbonyl-MTA derivatives. The N-(alkyloxy)carbonyl-MTA prodrugs were stable at physiological pH and showed longer activation half-lives when tested in mouse liver microsomes but failed to be activated in human liver microsomes. Conversely, the N-[(acyloxy)alkyloxy]carbonyl-MTA prodrugs showed shorter half-lives ranging from a few minutes to a few hours in the presence of mouse and human liver microsomes but suffered from an inherent instability at physiological pH. As expected, the hydrolytic susceptibility of the ester group in N-[(acyloxy)alkyloxy]carbonyl-MTA prodrugs decreased with increasing steric hindrance around the ester bond by replacement with bulkier alkyl groups. Therefore, the N-[(acyloxy)alkyloxy]carbonyl-MTA prodrugs show promise and further modifications can be made to increase stability at physiological pH.M.S.Includes bibliographical referencesby Ashwini Ranad
Kontribusi Program Keagamaan Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan Di SMA MTA Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018
Moral formation is a very important thing done as the importance of morals for human life. One means of fostering morals in schools through religious programs. In addition, continuous improvement of quality is also important, especially in education. Because the future of a nation depends on how the education is organized. SMA MTA Surakarta is a private Islamic school that has a vision to form a person who 'morals, knowledgeable and achievement'. SMA MTA in overall execution of morals than anything else. This principle becomes the foundation and way to realize one vision of SMA MTA.
The purpose of this research is to know and describe religious program that exist in SMA MTA Surakarta, and contribution of religious program in improving education quality in SMA MTA Surakarta. This research is a field research, where the author down directly to the field to be in carefully to find out the problems and factors that influence it, with the method of analysis in the form of descriptive method, that is by describing the data as it is through the exposure of words, and the deductive method is with linking data with research theory to then analyzed.
The conclusion of this research is that the program conducted in SMA MTA Surakarta is divided into two, namely in schools such as, studying lajo students, additional tahsin tahfidz and Arabic, Islamic spirituality, praying together, and qiraah; and in dormitories such as, routine study, congregational prayer, tahfidz, qiraah, as well as conditioning sunnah and fasting. The contribution of religious programs in improving the quality of education is as a means in realizing the vision of SMA MTA itself, that is morals, knowledge and achievement
