Musiikin laineilla : Muskariopas Brysselin suomalaiselle Merimieskirkolle
Get PDFOpinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda muskariopas Brysselin suomalaisella Merimieskirkol-la toimiville harjoittelijoille ja vapaaehtoisille. Opinnäytetyö oli toiminnallinen ja sen lop-putuloksena syntyi muskariopas. Tekijä alkoi ohjata Merimieskirkolla muskaria ilman minkäänlaista kokemusta ja koki aloittamisen haastavaksi. Tämä opas tehtiin muiden vas-taavassa tilanteessa olevien auttamiseksi. Pääajatuksena oli, että oppaasta hyötyisivät eri-tyisesti ne harjoittelijat ja vapaaehtoiset, jotka eivät koe musiikkia vahvuudekseen. Oppaan tavoitteena oli antaa ohjeita muskarin suunnitteluun ja ohjaamiseen. Oppaan tavoitteena oli myös auttaa muskarin ohjaajaa tekemään tuntisuunnitelmia ja pääsemään muskarin ohjaa-misessa alkuun. Oppaaseen on koottu vinkkejä ja työkaluja muskarin suunnitteluun ja to-teuttamiseen sekä kuusi tuntisuunnitelmaa. Oppaan tuntisuunnitelmat ovat käyttövalmiita. Ne voi ottaa käyttöön sellaisenaan tai niitä voi muokata omaan käyttöön sopiviksi. Oppaa-seen on kerätty myös tekstejä, joita voi käyttää hiljentymisiin muskarin alussa tai lopussa. Tärkeimmät osiot ohjaamisen kannalta ovat tuntisuunnitelmat, tuntisuunnitelmapohja ja vinkit, miten pääsee alkuun.
Opas pohjautuu suurelta osin tekijän omiin kokemuksiin Merimieskirkon muskarinohjaa-jana.The thesis was done in collaboration with Finnish seamen´s mission Brussel and the aim of this thesis was to create a music guide that contains easy tips and hints for music playschool leaders to organize music sessions for children. This thesis is guide for music playschool leader with little to no experience. The author had found it difficult to start leading the music play-school groups with little experience, so she made this guide to new leaders in the same situation. The purpose of the thesis was to develop a tool for music playschool leader that makes planning easier. Guide has pre-built templates with proper themes for the music playschool leader to get the music sessions going. These templates can be used straight away or modified by the user. The main thought was that those intern`s or volunteers who do not consider themselves very musical oriented would benefit from guide. In the guide author present knowledge about what should remember when planning a music session, and the different steps of a good music session in music playschool. At the end of the guide, author have prepared six examples of complete sessions. She wanted to keep the guide as simple as possible, that every intern or volunteer could easily use it. The most important sections in the guide are the finished lesson plan, the lesson planning sheet and tips how to get the music sessions going.

Reuma ja ravinto : Reumapotilaille suunnattu ravitsemusohjausaineisto
Get PDFTulehduksellisiin reumasairauksiin voidaan lääkehoidon lisäksi vaikuttaa oikeanlaisella ravinnolla. Reumapotilaat eivät aina saa hoitavalta taholta riittävää ravitsemusohjausta, joten heidän tulee hankkia usein tietoa itse. Reumapotilaiden tulisi saada oikeaa ja ajankohtaista tietoa ravitsemuksesta. Suomen Reumaliiton jäsenyhdistykset järjestävät jäsenilleen erilaisia koulutus- ja luentotilaisuuksia, joissa voidaan käsitellä esimerkiksi ravitsemusasioita.
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli kehittää sähköinen ravitsemusohjausaineisto reumayhdistyksen käyttöön. Ravitsemusohjausaineiston pohjana toimivat vuosina 2009¬2013 pidetyt Reuma ja ravitsemus -luennot. Näistä luennoista kerättiin palaute. Palautteesta saatujen konkreettisten kehitysehdotuksien, olemassa olevien luentopohjien ja teorian avulla lähdettiin kehittämään ravitsemusohjausaineistoa. Ravitsemusohjausaineistossa huomioitiin uusin ravitsemustieto ja uusimmat tutkimukset reumasta. Sähköinen ravitsemusohjausaineisto sisältää Reuma ja ravinto -luennon PowerPoint-tiedostona ja asioita kattavammin käsittelevän luennoitsijan tukimateriaalin Word-tiedostona. Ravitsemusohjausaineisto toteutettiin sähköisenä, koska näin sitä on helppo jakaa ja päivittää.
Ravitsemusohjausaineiston tavoitteena oli lisätä reumapotilaiden tietämystä ravinnon vaikutuksista reumaan, helpottaa reumapotilaiden oikean tiedon saamista ravinnosta sekä oikaista virheellisiä käsityksiä ravitsemushoidoista.
Ravitsemusohjausaineisto on toimiva apuväline reumayhdistyksen terveydenedistämistyössä.Diet may have influence on inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Rheumatoid pa-tients do not always get enough nutrition guidance and so they often try to find knowledge on their own. Rheumatoid patients need up to date and accurate information on nutrition. The Finnish Rheumatism Association and its local branches arrange various activities and lectures to their members. Nutrition is one important issue to be concerned with.
Purpose of this thesis was to develop electronic nutritional guidance material for a local rheumatism society. The material is based on the Rheumatoid arthritis and nutrition –lecture which were given in 2009-2013 by the author of this thesis. The evaluation feedback of the lectures was collected. It gave concrete ideas for the development work. The feedback material, existing lecture templates and results of the information retrieval were the basis for the development of the nutrition guidance material.
The aim of this thesis was to increase awareness of dietary effects on the arthritis of rheumatoid patients and to facilitate rheumatoid patients to get right information about nutrition, as well as to correct the false perception of nutrition treatment.
The result of the development work was a nutrition guidance material for rheuma-toid association. Nutritional guidance material works as a tool for health promotion. The material is divided into two sections: the actual presentation material in PowerPoint –form and a larger text part for the instructor. It will be brought out in electronic form and it is therefore easy to update and deliver
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
