Hundreds of spoken articles in multiple languages are available to users who are – for one reason or another – unable or unwilling to consume the written version of the article. Our resource, the Spoken Wikipedia Corpus, consolidates the Spoken Wikipediae, adding text segmentation, normalization, time-alignment and further annotations, making it accessible for research and fostering new ways of interacting with the material.

No full textSormien vakaa 3D liikkeenseuranta käyttäen optista liikkeenseurantajärjestelmää on vaikeaa, johtuen okkluusiosta, laajasta visuaalisten havaintojen kirjosta, sekä ihmiskädelle mahdollisista lukuisista asennoista ja eleistä.
Tässä diplomityössä suunnitellaan ja toteutetaan halpa, kamerapohjainen 3D liikkeenseurantajärjestelmä, joka paikallistaa värillisiä LED:ejä, ja luokittelee ne väriensä perusteella helpottaen seurattavien objektien tunnistamista.
Käyttämällä kahta tai useampaa webkameraa, järjestelmä hyödyntää epipolaarisuus-ehtoa selvittääkseen eri kameranäkymissä olevien LED:ien vastaavuudet, ja kolmioi niiden sijainnin käyttäen ns. keskipiste-funktiota.
Työssä rakennetaan myös datahanska, joka on suunniteltu tarkkaan sormien seurantaan.
Järjestelmän staattinen tarkkuus mitataan, mikä yhdessä keskipistefunktion analyysin kanssa mahdollistaa eri virhelähteiden luokittelun ja niiden vaikutusten ennakoimisen kolmiointitarkkuuden suhteen, minkä hyödyntämistä liikkeenseurannan suorituskyvyn parantamisessa esitellään.
Saadut tulokset osoittavat, että toteutetulla järjestelmällä on hyvä tarkkuus, ja että sitä voidaan käyttää monissa eri seurantaongelmissa sekä ympäristöissä.
Lopuksi esitetään erinäisiä tuloksia liittyen sijainnin kolmiointiin ja värillisten LED:ien seurantaan, ja luetellaan muutamia ohjelmistoparannuksia, jotka vakauttaisivat sormien liikkeenseurantaa järjestelmällämme

In this paper we construct new JNp functions, that increase the understanding of this function space. It is already known that Lp(Q) ⊊ JNp(Q) ⊊ Lp,∞(Q). We show that if | f| 1/p∈ JNp(Q) , then | f| 1/q∈ JNq(Q) , where q≥ p, but there exists a nonnegative function f such that f1/p∉ JNp(Q) even though f1/q∈ JNq(Q) , for every q∈ (p, ∞). We present functions in JNp(Q) \ VJNp(Q) and in VJNp(Q) \ Lp(Q) , proving the nontriviality of the vanishing subspace VJNp, which is a JNp space version of VMO. We prove the embedding JNp(Rn) ⊂ Lp,∞(Rn) / R. Finally we show that we can extend the constructed functions into Rn, such that we get a function in JNp(Rn) \ VJNp(Rn) and another in CJNp(Rn) \ Lp(Rn) / R. Educación Artística Comunitaria en Finlandia: entrevista a Timo Jokela
No full textEste artículo presenta un estudio sobre la educación artística comunitaria en la Universidad de Laponia en Finlandia. En primer lugar se analizan las líneas principales de este modelo formativo y de su plan de estudios. En segundo lugar se presenta una entrevista con Timo Jokela, Decano de la Facultad de Arte y Diseño de la Universidad de Laponia y director del Departamento de Educación Artística en esa misma Facultad. En la entrevista Timo Jokela habla de las relaciones entre arte, medio ambiente, comunidad y educación partiendo de su propia experiencia como artista y centrado en el contexto finlandés. También sobre los aspectos sociales, culturales, artísticos y educativos que están implícitos en el modelo de educación artística comunitaria que se pone en práctica, como itinerario formativo, en la Universidad de Laponia.
This article presents a study on community-based art education at the University of Lapland in Finland. First, the main guidelines of this training model and its curriculum are analysed. Second, the author includes an interview with Timo Jokela, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design of The University of Lapland in Finland and Director of the Department of Art Education at the same faculty. In the interview Timo Jokela draws upon his own experience as an artist in Finland to talk about the relationships between art, the environment, community and education. He also talks about the social, cultural, artistic and educational aspects, which are central to the community-based art education scheme in place at The University of Lapland
