No full textAfter Nantes (France) in 2009, Poznan (Poland) in 2011, and Taormina (Italy) in 2013, the 2015 event in Montpellier, confirmed ISEE’Cap symposium as a unique opportunity to gather the most renowned international experts together with non-specialist engineers and researchers who share interest in electrochemical capacitors. As for the previous event in the series, ISEE’Cap15 was preceded by a half-day tutorial session with four lectures given by W. Sugimoto, T. Brousse, P.-L. Taberna and J. Miller on a updated state of the art in the field. The program was definitively “looking forward” oriented and also includes a specific “Young investigators” session. It covered the electrochemical double layer capacitors and pseudocapacitors, their electrode materials and storage mechanisms, the electrolytes and interfacial phenomena, the asymmetric and hybrid devices, the introduction of new concepts, new devices and new fabrication processes, the characterization techniques, in-situ and in-operando methods, the modeling of phenomena and systems, system integration and applications
The L-p-to-L-q boundedness of commutators with applications to the Jacobian operator
No full textSupplying the missing necessary conditions, we complete the characterisation of the L-p -> L-q boundedness of commutators [b, T] of pointwise multiplication and Calderon-Zygmund operators, for arbitrary pairs of 1 q, our results are new even for special classical operators with smooth kernels. As an application, we show that every f is an element of L-p(R-d) can be represented as a convergent series of normalised Jacobians J(u) = det del uof u is an element of (over dot(W))(1,dp)(R-d)(d). This extends, from p = 1 to p > 1, a result of Coifman, Lions, Meyer and Semmes about J:. The good reactivity of lithium with nanostructured copper phosphide
No full textIn Li-ion battery technology, Li diffusion in the electrode is mainly limited by the quality of the interfaces. To take advantage of the large capacity gain offered by the transition metal phosphides (TMP) as negative electrode, a new self-supported TMP/Cu nanoarchitectured electrode concept is proposed. This specific design allows one to fine-tune control of both (TMP)/current collector and
(TMP)/electrolyte interfaces of the electrode. This new electrode preparation process is based on an electrochemical templated synthesis of copper nanorods followed by a phosphorus vaporization. The P vapour reacts with the Cu nanorods leading to Cu3P nanorods. Preliminary electrochemical tests of the as-obtained Cu3P nanorods/Li half cell show the great interest of using such a nanostructured TMP electrode in a Li battery. These nanoarchitectured phosphide electrodes can sustain a C-rate (a full discharge in 1h) cycling without exhibiting any important reversible capacity loss for 20 cycles

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
No full textWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
