Mircea Eliade as Dramatic Author
No full textThis bachelor thesis defines writer Mircea Eliade as a dramatic author, including reception of his work by contemporary literary recenzents in confrontation to his own point of view. It will also explain the backround of creating the playworks. We deside if there are any relations between Eliade's diaries, novels and dramas. We will compare similar subject: the drama Iphigenia by older authors (Euripides, Jean Rotrou, Jean Racine and Johann Wolfgang Goethe) and how much are projected old Romanian folk ballads Miorița (The Little Ewe) and Meșterul Manole (The Master Builder Manole). In the rest of the play works we decide how much is involved Eliade as a religionist especially his theory of "teror of the history" (in partial drama 1241), theory of the "sacral and profane" in drama Oameni și pietre (People and Stones) and the response to the myth around famous sculptor Constantin Brâncuși in the play Coloana fără sfârșit (The Infinite Column). Most of the used texts are available under the lines or in the attachment. Unless it isn't written differently, the translations I've made myself and it was a part of the technical work

The paper presents the contributions of Maria Vodă Căpușan in establishing the relationship between theatre and the other works of Mircea Eliade. The author underlines the importance of theatre which is seen not only as a minor preoccupation of an author famous for his contributions in the philosophy of religions, but also as an important part of her work being recognized in other domains. The author reaches the conclusion that without theatre we cannot understand the profound structure of the whole vision of Mircea Eliade
Mircea Eliade’s correspondence with metropolitan Vasile Suciu
No full textMircea Eliade’s correspondence with metropolitan Vasile Suciu. The present study takes into account the epistolary dialogue between Mircea Eliade and the Greek-Catholic metropolitan Vasile Suciu. In fact, we have two letters sent the young philosopher from Bucharest to the high hierarch in order to receive from him the volumes of theology whose author he was. The study analyses the cultural context in which Mircea Eliade was placed in the third decade of the twentieth century, the self-characterization that he presents, but also the way in which he justifies the interest towards studying and knowing the Eastern theology. Moreover, Vasile Suciu’s theological work is commentated, also investigating its doctrinal identity, which made some intellectuals (among them being Mircea Eliade) believe that it is representative for the theological reflection of the Eastern Church.
Rezumat: Corespondenţa lui Mircea Eliade cu mitropolitul Vasile Suciu. Studiul de faţă are în vedere dialogul epistolar dintre Mircea Eliade şi mitropolitul greco-catolic Vasile Suciu. De fapt, este vorba despre două scrisori pe care tânărul filosof bucureştean i le-a trimis înaltului ierah de la Blaj, cu scopul de a obţine din partea acestuia volumele de teologie pe care le publicase. Este analizat contextul cultural în care se plasa în deceniul trei al secolului XX Mircea Eliade, autocaracterizarea pe care acesta şi-o face, dar şi felul în care îşi justifică interesul pentru cunoaşterea teologiei răsăritene. De asemenea, este comentată opera teologică a mitropolitului Vasile Suciu, fiind sondată identitatea doctrinară a acesteia, care îi făcea pe unii intelectuali să creadă (printre ei, numărându-se şi Mircea Eliade) că ea este reprezentativă pentru gândirea teologică a Bisericii răsăritene.

Therefore, the structure of this paper will be the following: first of all we will provide information about the author and his attempts for a better understanding of Nietzsche’s universe as a totality, then we will develop some considerations about the possible main purpose of this very successful hermeneutical exercise. Next, we focused on the critical analysis of Ecce Nietzsche: Docuficțiuni critice, Critica criticii, I, made by Petre Isachi. In the end we will notice how important is the hermeneutical exercise for the culture and for any kind of progress

This article deals with the relationship between the historian of religions Mircea Eliade and the political scientist Carl Schmitt. Eliade met Schmitt for the first time in Berlin during the summer of 1942, when the Romanian writer and scholar was an attaché of his country's Embassy in Lisbon. A few months later, Schmitt told his friend Ernst Jünger that Eliade was a follower of René Guénon. By discussing the different attitudes of Eliade and Schmitt towards Guénon's ideas, the Author tries to throw light on the history of Eliade's formative years.L'article est consacré aux rapports entre l'historien des religions Mircea Eliade et le juriste et politologue Carl Schmitt. Leur première rencontre eut lieu à Berlin pendant l'été 1942, quand Eliade était un fonctionnaire de l'ambassade de Roumanie à Lisbonne. En automne, Carl Schmitt parla d'Eliade à son ami Ernst Jünger, en le présentant comme un disciple de René Guénon. Problema neantului în opera lui Mircea Eliade
No full textMircea Eliade still wakens a large interest, both in Romanian and international literary circles as his complex personality, but especially his studies, greatly inspired, partly due to the orientation towards the past, and partly to their synchronic amplitude, which can hardly be included in a category by the hermeneutists. Petru Ursache, who dedicated many years to the elucidation of the mysteries created by the great scholar manages to lift a great part of the veil which covers the works of the historian of religions. In the paper the author approaches one of the main topics of Mircea Eliade’s mythological system, the problem of nothingness.Mircea Eliade încă stârneşte un mare interes, atât în cercurile literare româneşti, cât şi în cele internaţionale, din cauza interesului pe care personalitatea lui complexă, dar mai ales studiile sale, inspirate în mare parte de orientarea sa către trecut, de o mare amplitudine sincronică, însă care cu greu poate fi încadrată într-o categorie de către hermenuţi. Petru Ursache, care şi-a consacrat mulţi ani elucidării misterelor suscitate de marele savant reuşeşte să ridice în mare parte cortina care învăluie lucrările istoricului religiilor.
