    Many junior secondary dropouts and many junior secondary graduates who do not go to senior secondary school create a lot of young people who are unprepared to join the work force. Yet it is against the reguation to establish junior secondary school. The problem is solved by establishing skill oriented junior secondary school. Though still semi-skilled their graduates could easily join the work force. There are minor legal problem for the establishment of such kind of school, but this problem rests more in legal interpretation rather than their material. Some additional ministerial decress could solve this problem

    Development and Implementation Of Educational Curriculum in Indonesia

    Many understandings about the educational curriculum; while in this paper, what is meant by the educational curriculum is a set of subjects and educational programs provided by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia containing the design of lessons for students in schools and madrasas in Indonesia. The educational curriculum has a strategic position in the effort to develop education because the educational curriculum provides the direction of education itself. The educational curriculum also has a strategic position in an effort to improve the quality of education because the educational curriculum does not only contain the subject matter but also educational programs planned and (must) be carried out by the education providers. In the development and implementation of the educational curriculum, Indonesia has an interesting experience; from the "makeshift" curriculum for example the Curriculum 1947 to the "intact" example of the Curriculum 2007 or the Education Unit Level Curriculum or Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP); from patchwork such as the Curriculum 1950 to the standard ones such as the Curriculum 1984 or the Active Student Learning or Cara Belajar Siswa Aktif (CBSA), even from non-political ones such as the Curriculum 1947 to the highly political ones such as the Curriculum 1968. Other interesting experiences in the development and implementation of educational curriculum in Indonesia are, from those planned (by design), for example the Curriculum 2004 or Competency-Based Curriculum or Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) to those that are not planned (nondesign), for example the Curriculum 2013 or Kurikulum 2013 or K-13

    Sistem monitoring palang pintu perlintasan kereta api menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0 merupakan sebuah sistem untuk mendeteksi kondisi palang pintu perlintasan kereta api. Hal ini merupakan upaya untuk menghindarai kecelakaan jika saja terjadi masalah pada sebuah palang pintu perlintasan ketika sebuah kereta api sedang melintas. Dalam simulasi sistem ini palang pintu yang dimonitoring sebanyak 2 buah. Sistem monitoring palang pintu perlintasan kereta api menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0 ini tersusun atas perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Untuk perangkat keras terdiri dari (1) rangkaian power supply yang terdiri dari pembangkit tegangan 5 VDC untuk sistem dan pembangkit tegangan 12 VDC untuk tegangan motor DC (2) Rangkaian sensor keberadaan kereta menggunakan LED dan phototransistor (3) Rangkaian pengolah sinyal yang terdiri dari rangkaian komparator LM324, dan rangkaian schmit (4) Sistem minimum mikrokontroler AT89S51 sebagai komponen kendali (5) Rangkaian motor Dc untuk penggerak palang pintu (6) Rangkaian parallel port untuk komunikasi mikrokontroller dengan komputer, dan (7) komputer untuk monitoring. Sedangkan untuk perangkat lunak terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu program assembly untuk memrogram mikrokontroller yang terdiri dari program utama, program inisialisasi, program baca sesnsor, program kendali, dan program kirim data. Sedangkan untuk perangkat lunak yang kedua adalah bahasa Visual Basic 6.0 yang terdiri dari proses inisialisai port parallel, baca data, olah data dan menampilkan hasil monitoring. Dari hasil pengujian, dapat diketahui tentang unjuk kerja sistem monitoring palang pintu perlintasan kereta api menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0 ini. Alat ini dapat bekerja dengan baik yakni dapat menunjukkan kondisi palang pintu perlintasan kereta api baik saat kondisi buka maupun tutup dan untuk kondisi error (bermasalah).     The purpose of the research is to disclosure the influence of using entry seleition  (NEM) ii  'physiial  'is'to  program based on the original government examination score iuitor  cindttion  high school (SLTP), abstract reasoningability, and for  senior high school SMU) students. The method used compute thi relationship of the entry selection program toward student achievement in Mathematics  and English. The model of the research is a case study at the SMU Tamansiswa Bandung involving a data analysis  ut d  1o,  for  the whole population of 454 students. The analysis technique this research is Product Moment Analysis and Linear Regression Analysis. From the data oulysis result it was concluded that entry seleition program has a positive and very significant effect  achievembnt. Generally speaking it can be concluded that the entry selection  program  for  for  the student fuIU which consist of NEM SLTP, abstract reasoning'ability, and pttysical condition is very  selection system ofthe new students

    Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peningkatan ketrampilan berpikir kreatif dan prestasi belajar melalui model Penelitian Ilmiah (scientific inquiry model) serta hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi dan alternatif solusinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam2 siklus yang terdiri dari planing, acting, observing dan reflecting dengan model Lewin yang ditafsirkan oleh Kemmis. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 5 kali pertemuan dengan durasi waktu 2x 45 menit pada setiap pertemuannya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari dan Maret 2017 bertempat di SMAN 1 Bantul Yogyakarta. Data yang diukur adalah keterampilan kreatif dan prestasi belajar. Model pembelajaran Penelitian Ilmiah (scientific inquiry model) dikatakan dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan kreatif  jika tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif mencapai 70-80 (Baik) dan mencapai prosentase 85% tuntas belajar (>75). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah  hasil tes ulangan harian siswa pada Sistem Respirasi (Siklus I) dan Sistem Ekskresi (Siklus II) mengalami peningkatan dari 81.00 menjadi 87.32. Kemampuan kreatif siswa pada siklus I dan II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup pesat. Pada siklus I terdapat 45 % siswa mempunyai ketrampilan kretaif sangat baik, 50 % siswa baik dan 5% cukup. Pada siklus II sudah tidak terdapat lagi katagori ketrampilan kreatif cukup. Yang terjadi pada siklus II adalah ketrampilan kreatif sangat baik sebanyak 90% dan 10 % untuk katagori baik. Hambatan yang dialami siswa dalam tahap menyusun kerangka pikir untuk menentukan hipotesis penelitian (tahap Iluminasi). Solusi yang diberikan adalah dengan memberikan bimbingan intensif di luar jam pembelajaran.   Improving the creative thinking skill and learning achievement results through the scientific inquiry model   Abstract: The objective of the research is to know the increase in creative thinking skills and learning achievement results from the scientific inquiry model and the obstacle faced and alternative solutions. Data measured is a creative skill and learning achievement. The scientific inquiry model enables to improve the creative skills if the level of creative thinking ability reaches 70-80 and getting the percentage of 85% learning pass from 75. The creative thinking ability of students in cycles I and II also show an increase sharply. What really happens is there are 90% of students reach the level of very good creative ability and 10% get good.     The hypothesis of this study were (1) there is a positive influence on learning achievement automotive interest in entrepreneurship, (2) there is a positive influence on the industry work practices accomplishment interest in entrepreneurship, (3) there is a positive effect of learning achievement and achievement automotive industry work practices together to class XII student interest in entrepreneurship minor engineering vehicles SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta Academic Year 2013/2014.  This research is a kind of ex - post facto research . The population in this study is a class XII student of SMK Piri 1Yogyakarta TKR which is 129 students, with a sample of 98 students. Data capture techniques using methods of documentation, test and questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire instrument carried by grain analysis using Product Moment Correlation formula and reliability testing using Cronbach Alpha. Anlisis Analysis using partial correlation and multiple regression, which previously conducted test requirements analysis includes tests of normality, linearity and intercorrelations.  The results showed that (1) learning achievement and achievement automotive industry work practices together positive and significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship. (2) The learning achievement of automotive positive and significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship. (3) Achievement industry work practices and a significant positive effect on the interest in entrepreneurship. This shows that learning achievement automotive (X1) and the achievement of industrial work practices (X2) has the effect of interest in entrepreneurship (Y)

    Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui menejemen mutu pembelajaran ditinjau dari motivasi berprestasi, kompetensi, dan pengalaman mengajar terhadap profesionalisme Guru TK di Kecamatan Pandak Kabupaten Bantul. Jenis penelitian  adalah penelitian survey dengan metode cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah guru TK di Kecamatan Pandak Bantul sebanyak 130 orang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 78 responden ditentukan dengan menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Analisa data adalah analisa korelasi. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu angket dan dokumentasi. Ada kontribusi positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi, kompetensi, dan pengalaman mengajar secara simultan dan parsial terhadap profesionalisme Guru TK di Kecamatan Pandak Kabupaten Bantul ditinjau dari manajemen mutu pembelajaran. Hasil menujukkan bahwa apabila terjadi peningkatan motivasi berprestasi, kompetensi, dan pengalaman mengajar secara simultan ataupun parsial, maka profesionalisme Guru TK di Kecamatan Pandak Kabupaten Bantul akan cenderung mengalami peningkatan juga. Profesionalisme Guru TK yang dapat dijelaskan oleh motivasi berprestasi, kompetensi, dan pengalaman mengajar adalah sebesar 40,21%. Profesionalisme Guru TK dapat ditingkatkan melalui program pemberian reaward, pelatihan kompetensi mengajar, serta sertifikasi secara berkala bagi para guru TK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterserapan kerja lulusan smk kompetensi keahlian farmasi di kabupaten purworejo mulai dari (a) mengidentifikasi program pendukung keterserapan kerja lulusan SKM, (b) mengidentifikasi tingkat keterserapan kerja lulusan SMK, (c) menganalisis kesenjangan antara keterserapan kerja lulusan dengan yang terjadi di lapangan, (d) menentukan solusi dari kesenjangan yang terjadi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model Discrepancy. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tiga SMK se Kabupaten Purworejo yang memiliki kompetensi Farmasi. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik wawancara dan penyebaran angket terbuka dan tertutup. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterserapan kerja lulusan SMK kompetensi keahlian Farmasi adalah sebagai berikut;(a) pelaksanaan program pendukung keterseerapan kerja lulusan SMK sudh berjalan dengan baik. Namun perlu peningkatan pada kinerja guru, pelaksanaan prakerin sarana, dan kerjasama dengan DU/DI;(b) sebanyak 78% lulusan sudah bekerja, sebanyak 14 % siswa melanjutkan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, sebanyak 5 % mengikuti kursus, sisanya 3% belum mendapatkan pekerjaan. Masa tunggu lulusan, sebanyak 76 % kurang dari 6 bulan,  sebanyak 12 %  antara 6-12 bulan, da sebanyak 4 % lebih dari 1 tahun;(c)  Kesenjangan terjadi pada kesesuaian bidang kerja dan bidang pendidikan  lulusan yaitu sebanyak 87%  lulusan bekerja dan melanjutkan pendidikan dengan kompetensi yang tidak sesuai, hanya 13 % lulusan yang bekerja dan melanjutkan sesuai dengan bidang kompetensinya(d) Rekomendasinya adalah pemerintah membuka kompetensi keahlian yang sesuai dengan bidang yang ada di Purworejo, dan menambah lapangan pekerjaan di bidang kefarmasian

With the current developments in the world of education that are constantly changing so that a lot of change in the mindset of educators from the ordinary mindset will become more modern. This is very influential in the progress of teachers in educating. The teacher is an educator, a role model, for the students he educates. Therefore a teacher must have certain standards or qualities that must be met. So that in this study has the following objectives, (1) To find out the significance of teaching experience, professional competence and pedagogical competence towards the Leadership Trilogy in junior high school teacher learning (2) To find out the contribution of teaching experience, professional competence and pedagogical competence to the Leadership Trilogy in junior high school learning throughout Sleman Regency Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative descriptive correlation study. That quantitative research is an approach to examine the relationship between variables. The data collection technique that will be used in this study is a questionnaire.
