No full textGallini, Giovanni-Andrea (1728-1805) London: Printed for the author... (1770) Giovanni-Andrea Gallini was director of the Kings Theatre in London. In Critical Observations, he promoted the use of contemporary dance terminology. The first two chapters contain a history of dance which is largely indebted to Cahusac\u27s La danse ancienne et moderne, although without acknowledgement. Chapter three, "On the air and port of the person" summarizes the positive traits a student acquires from learning how to dance: a head erect without stiffness, a body upright without affectation, a gait firm and assured without heaviness, a bearing light and airy without indecency. A poem in celebration of Mr. Marcell, Gallini\u27s master, is appended. A "Description of several steps and movements practiced in the art of dancing" describes the ballroom, provides a glossary, explains floor patterns, illustrates the true and false positions, comments on a few steps, and denigrates the use of chorégraphie, or dance notation

No full textDalam pelaksanaan satu kegiatan proyek, salah satu sumber daya yang penting adalah sumber daya biaya. Untuk itu pemanfaatan biaya proyek harus seefisien mungkin. Biaya material merupakan suatu komponen biaya yang harus diperhatikan, karena biaya material sangat mempengaruhi biaya proyek keseluruhan. Masalah yang sering timbul menyangkut biaya material proyek adalah pendistribusian material yang tidak efisien. Karena itu diperlukan suatu metode yang dapat memecahkan masalah pendistribusian material.Metode Aproksimasi Vogel merupakan solusi awal dan metode Stepping Stone sebagai solusi akhir, merupakan salah satu alternatif pemecah masalah transportasi. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengatur distribusi material dari sumber-sumber material ke lokasi proyek yang membutuhkan, sehingga akan didapat biaya transportasi material yang optimum.Dari hasil perhitungan biaya pasir ke lokasi proyek menggunakan metode Aproksimasi Vogel sebagai metode solusi awal sebesar Rp. 139.249.769, dan biaya batu pecah ke lokasi proyek menggunakan metode Aproksimasi Vogel sebagai solusi awal sebesar Rp 128.035.972. Metode Stepping Stone tidak dapat digunakan dalam perhitungan ini karena tidak ada sel yang kosong. Kata kunci: Distribusi Material, Aproksimasi Vogel, Stepping Ston

One Typological Method of Studying Rural Societies
No full textThis text represents the first part of the article published in the »Revue
frangaise de sociologie«, special issue in 1965. It considers different typological
classification of rural societies. Usually one starts from the continuum which
extremes are the two confronted types. In literature there are numerous exemples
of such dichotomies. But the typological method established on the principle of
continuum leads to the greate simplifacion of reality and does not care for the
varieties which characterise rural communities. The aim of typology presented bv
the author is just in the discovery of peculiar dimensions that show differencies
among rural societies. Without being hypothesis per se, the type helps the
construction of hypothesis, it is a scheme, guide for the analysis and the description
of the studied phenomenon. This approach rejects the idea of searching a unique
continuum at which all societies could be placed. It is necessary to emphasize that
every one of them has pecularities incompatible with the common order. As a
matter of fact one tries to find out in this way significant differencies among
rural societies. For the construction of such explicative types one uses the rules
of the logical construction and opservation in the context of the particular rural
societies which have their history, in which changes take place under the influence
of the global society but with different intensity and forms.
As units of analysis in France cantons have been selected. There is the most
complete statistics about them. This enabled the elaboration of the Atlas of rural
France. Several monographs on communes have questioned the cantonal hypothesis, so that the typological procedure was twice initiated in different circumstances
Cyberterrorism and the protection of critical information infrastructures : A snapshot of the current state of certain regulatory issues
No full textWestern states fight against terrorism for decades now, however, certain fundamental regulatory questions stay unanswered to this day. Consequently, with the newest form of terrorism, cyberterrorism, arise just as many legal uncertainties as with conventional terrorism. The complicated and incomplete system of international treaties on (cyber-)terrorism only cover certain aspects of the issue, moreover they generally make the individual states responsible for regulating (cyber-)terrorism without defining a common system of basic rules. In this paper the author discusses cyberterrorism from an international and national legal perspective highlighting the specific area of critical information infrastructure protection. Furthermore the paper also takes into consideration cyberterrorism in the light of international humanitarian law
The Slovak literature and the literature of the Hungarian minority in the interwar Hungarian lexicon
No full textThe paper deals with two items (entry) of the interwar Hungarian lexicon for literature: the first item focused on the Slovak literature, the second item focused on the Hungarian literature in Czechoslovakia. The editor of lexicon was wellknown Hungarian historian of literature, Marcell Benedek. The author of Slovak item was Juraj Podhradský, who was the civil servant of Hungarian public administration with Slovak origin. Inspite of the old terminology, from the item about the Slovak literature are missing the Hungarian stereotypes about the Slovaks and Slovak literature
Caustic waves in galaxy disks produced in collisions with low mass companions
No full textThe author lists a few reasons for studying collisions with relatively low mass companions, specifically those that are less than about one third of the mass of the target galaxy. The primary effect of such collisions on a target galaxy with a 'cold' disk component is the generation of waves in the disk. The focus here is on the purely stellar waves in such disks. This country has been governed by the Marxist-Leninist ideology for more than fifty years. Although the Cuban economy has not shown significant development since January 1, 1959, i.e. when the Revolutionaries came to power, it is presenting a new economic capacity-the tourism industry, which could drive the nation to a modern economic growth.
