Full text linkGood Lesson Planning will make teachers easier in helping students’ learning; and students are also assisted in understanding the subject matter. Lesson Plan is developed according to the needs and characteristics of learners, schools and subjects. Each teacher is required to formulate a complete syllabus and lesson plans. A math teacher should be able to design a lesson plan in accordance with the characteristics and approaches contained in math. This study aimed to determine how the knowledge and ability of math teachers of Senior High Schools in Padangsidimpuan city in developing lesson planning. This research is classified into descriptive study. Data were collected by using competency test and questionnaires. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the teachers’ knowledge in developing Lesson Plans is enough, while the ability of the teachers in developing is good enough. Finally, it is known that there is the significant correlation between teachers’ knowledge and teachers’ ability in developing Lesson Plans

Full text linkThispurpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Mathematics instruction employing the instructional materials based on the interconnection integration on students' critical thinking ability. This is a quasi-experimental research utilizing the pre-test post-test control group design. The subjects of this research are all students of Mathematics Education Study Program Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta who enrolled in Mathematics Learning Strategy course (48 students in experimental class and 31 students in control class). Data was collected using test and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by using t-test. Based on the result, it is identified that Mathematics instruction using the instructional materials based on the interconnection integration is more effective than conventional instruction to improve students critical thinking ability of Mathematics Education Study Program Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakart

There is also the purpose of this study 1) aims to describe the application of methods to improve reading ability SQ3R extensive class VIII SMPN 1 Kasimbar F, 2) aims to describe the results of an extensive improvement of reading skills by applying the method SQ3R F class VIII SMPN 1 Kasimbar, this study performed two cycles, ie cycle I and cycle II with a target value of the average grade of at least 75 individual kentutasan and classical minimal 80. This research uses a follow-class research. This research uses design research model Kemmis and MC. Tagart, this research is done through the process of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection cycle I and II using the test techniques and nontes. Based on the results of the assessment cycle I and cycle II is to determine the contents of paragraph earn 87 rose to 116, determines the content of the news equation 71 rose to 109, determines the difference of news content 85 rose to 111, specify the appropriate information ADIKSIMBA news ketercapain 76 students rose to 114, and concluded 76 news content rose to 105 with the average value of 61.71% first cycle classes. Students who otherwise completed as many as 4 people or 12.5% and students who otherwise did not complete as many as 28 people or 87.5% of the vote the first cycle the average value obtained grade students only reached 64.84% with a classical mastery 18.75 %. Sisklus I read the test results extensively through SQ3R methods have not been successful otherwise. Learning outcomes extensive reading cycle II has demonstrated success with an average grade of 86.25% or completeness mecapai classically by 90.62%. From these findings it can be seen that there is a significant increase from the first cycle to the second cycle so that it can be concluded learning to read extensively by applying SQ3R methods can be improved. It is evident from the first cycle to the second cycle of completeness students increased to 72.37%, so that the target value of KKM can be realized. Keywords: reading extensive, the method SQ3

Full text linkPada saat ini pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa banyak menjadi pembicaraan. Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu karakter yang akhir-akhir ini memang menjadi isu pendidikan, selain menjadi bagian dari proses pembentukan akhlak anak bangsa.. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa perlu dilakukan inovasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan pemikiran itulah maka peneliti akan melakukan penelitian pengembangan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang berbasis integrasi interkoneksi untuk memfasilitasi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pemgembangan dengan menggunakan desain yang mengadaptasi dari langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall. Langkah tersebut terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap uji produk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telah berhasil dikembangkan bahan ajar berbasis integrasi interkoneksi dengan kualitas sangat baik dengan persentase keidealan sebesar 87,6 % dari ahli materi, 86% ahli media, dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa sebesar 17,5135.  Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar, integrasi interkoneksi, berpikir kritis

Full text linkKemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa.  Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu karakter yang akhir-akhir ini memang menjadi isu pendidikan, selain menjadi bagian dari proses pembentukan akhlak anak bangsa.. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa perlu dilakukan inovasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan pemikiran itulah maka peneliti akan melakukan penelitian upaya meningkatkan  kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi menggunakan bahan ajar yang berbasis integrasi interkoneksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Model tersebut terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap perlakuan dan pengamatan, dan tahap refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis integrasi interkoneksi telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dari skor 23 pada tahap pra tindakan, meningkat menjadi 27,7 pada siklus 1, dan 36,6 pada siklus 2.Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar, integrasi interkoneksi, berpikir kriti

HUBUNGAN KETERAMPILAN DAN KOMUNIKASI PEGAWAI TERHADAP KUALITAS PELAYANAN PUBLIK DI DINAS PENANAMAN MODAL DAN PELAYANAN TERPADU SATU PINTU (DPMPTSP) KABUPATEN PURWOREJO
Full text linkKualitas Pelayanan Publik khususnya di Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kabupaten Purworejo seharusnya dilakukan dengan baik namun berdasarkan hasil pengamatan peneliti, kualitas pelayanan publik di DPMPTSP masih kurang baik ditunjukkan dengan polling pelayanan yaitu sebesar 46,2%. Hal tersebut disebabkan aplikasi perizinan online yang terkadang error dan adanya peraturan baru UU No. 72 Tahun 2017 tentang Pelayanan Perizinan dan Non Perizinan dalam Jaringan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kualitas pelayanan pubik, keterampilan pegawai, komunikasi pegawai serta hubungan antara keterampilan dan komunikasi pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di DPMPTSP Kabupaten Purworejo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif melalui survei. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik di DPMPTSP Kabupaten Purworejo sudah baik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata total 3,09 namun ada dua indikator yang masih rendah yaitu indikator kemudahan proses dalam pelayanan (2,78) dan alat bantu kerja (2,74). Keterampilan pegawai di DPMPTSP Kabupaten Purworejo sudah baik dengan nilai rata-rata total 3,04 dan komunikasi pegawai sudah baik dengan nilai rata-rarta total 3,05. Keterampilan pegawai mempunyai hubungan positif kuat dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan sebesar 0,704 pada angka signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,1), komunikasi pegawai mempunyai hubungan positif sedang sebesar 0,566 dan signifikan pada angka 0,000 (< 0,1), dan secara bersama-sama antara keterampilan dan komunikasi pegawai mempunyai hubungan positif sedang sebesar 0,427 dan signifikan pada angka 0,000 (< 0,1). Dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik, keterampilan pegawai, dan komunikasi pegawai di DPMPTSP Kabupaten Purworejo sudah baik. Saran yang dapat peneliti berikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya terkait kualitas pelayanan publik supaya memakai variabel yang berbed

This study aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning. The hypothesis of this study is the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning in the learning process can improve the activity and student learning outcomes. This research is a class action (Action Research), conducted on 46 people MHS Prodi STAIN Padangsidimpuan TMM. Data were collected through observation sheet and achievement test. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes at the end of the study reach 81.1 and the percentage of positive student learning activity has been demonstrated in both criteria
