Penerapan fungsi actuating dalam penyelenggaraan bimbingan ibadah haji: studi pada KBIH Muhammadiyah Kota Semarang tahun 2018
Get PDFTujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Untuk mengetahui penerapan fungsi actuating dalam penyelenggaraan bimbingan ibaddah haji di KBIH Muhammadiyah Kota Semarang tahun 2018; dan 2) Untuk mengetahui factor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan fungsi actuating di KBIH Muhammadiyah Kota Semarang tahun 2018. Sedangkan manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu, dapat menambah wawasan untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan,khususnya terkait dengan manajemen , sebagai bahan masukan atau pertimbangan oleh KBIH Muhammadiyah khususnya dalam pemberian pengarahan untuk mempertahankan loyalitas staf dan pengurus. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan. Informasi yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan beberapa metode pengumpulan data, yaitu dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kemudian verivikasi data. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan beberapa hal, yaitu 1) Kekuatan kepemimpinan di KBIH Muhammadiyah terletak pada partisipasi aktif dari para pengurus dan staf KBIH, dapat saling menghargai antara individu didalam KBIH, serta mau mendengarkan saran dan kritik dari bawahannya. 2) Kepemimpinan KBIH Muhammadiyah bersikap contributory attitude yang mana pemimpin bersikap membantu, akan berpikir, berperasaan dan bertindak sebagai penolong, sehingga akan membantu stafnya untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. 3)Dalam hal berkoordinasi di KBIH Muhammadiyah Semarang lebih sering dilakukan melalui pesan messenger, yang mana bisa menimbulkan noise (halangan komunikasi). 4) Insentif yang didapatkan oleh anggota KBIH adalah berupa gaji. Adapun insentif pelengkap berupa cuti sakit, hari libur, pahala dan merupakan kebahagiaan tersendiri jika jamaah haji yang mereka layani bahagia
Nilai-nilai Torang Samua Basudara dalam akulturasi budaya orang Jawa di Bitung
Get PDFOrang-orang Jawa yang datang ke Bitung, sudah tentu turut membawa budayanya, yang mana budaya tersebut berbeda dengan budaya lokal di Bitung. Dengan demikia Orang Jawa, perlu untuk menyesuaikan dan beradaptasi dengan budaya dan nilai-nilai yang telah ada di Bitung. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menjawab pertanyaan: (1) Bagaimana nilai-nilai Torang Samua Basudara pada akulturasi budaya orang Jawa di Bitung ?. Penelitian ini dikaji melalui studi lapangan, wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi menjadi sumber data. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, dan menggunakan metode Open Coding, Axial Coding, dan Selective Coding.
Penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Orang Jawa melakukan akulturasi terutama pada kebiasaan keseharian untuk dapat hidup berdampingan dengan orang lokal, kemudian masih mempertahankan tradisi yang bersifat sakral namun tidak memaksa orang Jawa di Bitung untuk melaksanakannya. Selain menerapkan tata krama Jawa, orang Jawa juga turut melibatkan orang lokal dalam pelaksaan tradisi Jawa. Sehingga tercipta interaksi sosial dan orang lokal bisa lebih mengenal budaya Jawa. Dengan adanya nilai-nilai Torang Samua Basudara pada akulturasi budaya, orang Jawa dapat terlibat dalam upaya mempertahan kerukunan masyarakat di Bitung.

ABSTRACT:
Javanese people who come to Bitung, of course, bring their culture, which is different from the local culture in Bitung. Thus, Javanese people need to adjust and adapt to the culture and values that already exist in Bitung. This study aims to answer the questions: (1) How are the values of Torang Samua Basudara in the acculturation of Javanese culture in Bitung? This study was studied through field studies, semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation as data sources. Data were analyzed using a phenomenological approach, and using the Open Coding, Axial Coding, and Selective Coding methods.
This study shows: (1) Javanese people carry out acculturation, especially in daily habits to be able to live side by side with local people, then still maintain sacred traditions but do not force Javanese people in Bitung to carry them out. In addition to implementing Javanese etiquette, Javanese people also involve local people in implementing Javanese traditions. So that social interaction is created and local people can get to know Javanese culture better. With the values of Torang Samua Basudara in cultural acculturation, Javanese people can be involved in efforts to maintain social harmony in Bitung.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
