Aplikasi Layanan Akademik Mahasiswa Berbasis Software (Studi Pengembangan di FITK IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo)
Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini yakni (1) Bagaimana Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo? (2) Bagaimana hasil pengujian kualitas model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo yang telah dikembangkan?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian kualitas model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan Model Waterfall. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, dan pengujian validasi. Hasil penelitian Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo menggunakan model waterfall yang merupakan model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sistematis dan berurutan (sekuensial) karena pengembangnya harus melewati tahap-tahap yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Yaitu meliputi tahap communication, planning, modelling, construction dan deployment. Bahasa pemrogaman yang digunakan yaitu Microsoft Visual Basic dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil pengujian model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo menunjukkan hasil yang baik pada pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, pengujian validasi, dan pengujian sistem. Patterns with High Rhythmicity Levels in Multicomponent Liesegang Systems
Liesegang banding is the display of rhythmic strata of precipitate as co-precipitate ions interdiffuse in a gel medium. Complex periodic patterns as well as aperiodic structures could emerge, notably in systems where more than one salt is precipitated. The use of three cations (Co2+, Ni 2+, and Mg2+) in the banded precipitation of their hydroxides resulted in an unusual pattern with a consistently increasing rhythmicity. A periodic structure marked by the succession of band multiplets with increasing number of bands (from singlets to doublets to triplets to quadruplets, consistently) was observed. Such rhythmic patterns are obtained as the initial Mg2+ concentration ([Mg2+]0), chosen as a control parameter, increases through a critical value. At high [Mg2+]0, the trend breaks after a long time elapses. Two types of bifurcation are therefore experienced by such a system: concentration bifurcation and diffusive (time-space) bifurcation. The dynamics is elucidated on the basis of an analysis of the bands in certain groups, and gel regions between these groups, as well as between group blocs (here, a bloc denotes a succession of multiplet groups, with repetitively the same number of bands). Finally, similarities between our system and naturally occurring rhythmic patterns are emphasized and discussed. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH andamp; Co. ANALISIS VOLUME KERUSAKAN DAN KEANDALAN BANGUNAN PADA KOMPONEN STRUKTUR DAN ARSITEKTUR (STUDI KASUS PADA GEDUNG LPPM UNIVERSITAS ISLAM SULTAN AGUNG SEMARANG)
Suatu bangunan memerlukan perawatan serta perbaikan gedung jika sudah melebihi batas umur rencana. Umur maksimal suatu bangunan adalah 30 tahun dan jika sudah melebihi batas maka perlu perhatian khusus. Gedung LPPM Universitas Islam Sultan Agung Semarang berdiri sejak tahun 1970 yang artinya umur bangunan tersebut sudah 53 tahun, serta pada saat musim hujan gedung ini juga sering terendam banjir karena posisinya yang berada dibawah elevasi jalan -0,30 meter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kerusakan dan keandalan bangunan gedung pada komponen struktur dan arsitektur Gedung LPPM Universitas Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi di lapangan, dimana untuk kerusakan menggunakan sistem pembobotan kuantitas dan untuk keandalan dengan memberikan penilaian skor terhadap hasil survey. Jenis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data primer meliputi denah bangunan dan volume kerusakan, serta data sekunder yang mengacu pada Permen PU No.29/PRT/M/2006 tentang pedoman teknis bangunan gedung dan Permen PU No.16/PRT/M/2010 tentang teknis pemeriksaan berkala bangunan. Hasil presentase yang didapat pada kerusakan struktur adalah 0% yang artinya tidak ada kerusakan, kemudian untuk arsitektur ruang dalam kerusakan paling besar adalah pelapis muka lantai 18,91% dan kerusakan arsitektur ruang luar paling besar adalah pelapis muka dinding 22,23 %. Kemudian untuk tingkat keandalan struktur mendapatkan angka 100% dalam kategori andal dan arsitektur mendapatkan angka 92,23% dalam kategori kurang andal.Kata Kunci: kerusakan, keandalan, bangunan gedung, arsitektur, struktur

The Political Thought of the Late H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founder of the United Arab Emirates (1966 - 2004)
This thesis highlights the political thought of H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, a man who made decisive contributions to the history of the twentieth century, and the various reflections of this political thought on the UAE, its people and the international community at large. In this regard, it explores and analyzes a multifaceted political thought that took its form in political practice in the establishment of the Federation, the management of crises and in the building of a prosperous enduring nation. Evaluating the factors that influenced the formation of the doctrinal matrix of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this thesis traces the background from within which Sheikh Zayed’s leadership skills evolved and developed. From his early years onwards, Sheikh Zayed made a firm commitment to undertake the considerable task of building a fully fledged state out of a divided tribal background, improve the lives of citizens, and carve a place for the UAE in the international arena.
This research project illustrates the implications and dimensions of Sheikh Zayed's political thinking process exemplified in his discursive statements and actions. It documents and analyzes the career achievements of Sheikh Zayed, a statesman acknowledged by contemporary and future generations to have had significant impact on the political direction and overall development of the UAE. This impact also demonstrates the potential of his contribution to the field of political thought.
One of this study’s primary conclusions is that the accomplishments of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan during his rule have resulted primarily from his development of an integrated doctrine of governance that reflected his humanistic outlook. In this regard, at both the domestic and international levels, Sheikh Zayed’s political decisions and acts were undertaken with reference to this outlook

Interprofessional Education (IPE) Activity amongst Health Sciences Students at Sultan Qaboos University : The time is now!
Historically, health professionals have been educated in profession-specific institutions which provide limited opportunities for learning interprofessional (IP) skills. Many qualified practitioners are therefore poorly prepared for the challenges of IP practice (IPP). Patients today have complex needs and typically require more than one professional to address their medical issues and effective IP care relies upon health care professionals’ abilities to communicate with one another. Competent communication improves the quality of care, thus enhancing patient outcomes. The objective of IP education (IPE) is to prepare students to deliver IP care in the future. Sultan Qaboos University’s medical and nursing colleges train the future health workforce for Oman. However, students have no opportunities for collaborative learning. It is imperative that opportunities be created where students learn with, about, and from each other with the aim of improving the quality of care they are likely to deliver in the future
