Criminal Aspects of Obstruction of Justice Actions Against Police Investigations
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the criminalization of obstruction of justice actions against police investigations. In this writing, the author uses a normative legal method with research specifications in the form of descriptive analysis. The crime of Obstruction of Justice is a serious thing that can be done by someone who intentionally prevents, hinders, or directly or indirectly thwarts a police investigation or criminal law process. The problem of overcoming the crime of Obstruction of Justice, of course, cannot be separated from the context of the discussion regarding criminalization policies. Criminalization policies are policies in determining an act that was originally not a criminal act (not punishable) to become a criminal act (an act that can be punished). So in essence, criminalization policies are part of criminal policy using criminal law (penal) means so that they are part of criminal law policies (penal policy). Although Obstruction of Justice has the potential to be dangerous in the law enforcement process, its implementation is rarely applied and implemented in law enforcement. This may be due to differences in perception by law enforcement officers
E-enterprise : business models, architecture, and components / Faisal Hoque.
Includes bibliographical references (p. [265]-271) and index.xx, 284 pages ;E-commerce is still a volatile industry, but each day a new enterprise pops up promising to be the next big thing. The real challenge is to understand what is involved in using the Internet as a means to building a successful business. Rather than coming up with marketing hooks and product innovations, e-Enterprise: Business Models, Architecture, and Components demystifies e-commerce and describes how a business should determine its own future by taking the next step and becoming an agile 'e-enterprise'. Faisal Hoque introduces the concept of high-level abstraction of business processes and application functionality that result in reusable business and technology components. He provides a methodology that is critical for all business leaders and technologists trying to build an enterprise on the internet

This thesis highlights the political thought of H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, a man who made decisive contributions to the history of the twentieth century, and the various reflections of this political thought on the UAE, its people and the international community at large. In this regard, it explores and analyzes a multifaceted political thought that took its form in political practice in the establishment of the Federation, the management of crises and in the building of a prosperous enduring nation. Evaluating the factors that influenced the formation of the doctrinal matrix of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this thesis traces the background from within which Sheikh Zayed’s leadership skills evolved and developed. From his early years onwards, Sheikh Zayed made a firm commitment to undertake the considerable task of building a fully fledged state out of a divided tribal background, improve the lives of citizens, and carve a place for the UAE in the international arena.
This research project illustrates the implications and dimensions of Sheikh Zayed's political thinking process exemplified in his discursive statements and actions. It documents and analyzes the career achievements of Sheikh Zayed, a statesman acknowledged by contemporary and future generations to have had significant impact on the political direction and overall development of the UAE. This impact also demonstrates the potential of his contribution to the field of political thought.

Anhydrous ammonia merupakan salah satu gas alam cair yang berwujud
gas, untuk mempermudah pengangkutannya gas tersebut dimampatkan
sehingga berubah menjadi cair.
The Concept of Restorative Justice in Terminating Prosecution for Minor Crimes
The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the mechanism for terminating prosecution of minor crimes to achieve restorative justice. In this writing the author uses a normative juridical method with research specifications in the form of descriptive analysis. Minor criminal cases in Indonesia often end in prison. Court decisions that impose prison sentences result in an increase in the number of inmates in correctional institutions. The Prosecutor's Office responds to this with the authority it has as implementer of the dominus litis principle, namely the Prosecutor's Office as the controller of the case process. Authority based on the dominus litis principle, led the Prosecutor's Office in 2020 to stipulate Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor's Regulation Number 15 of 2020 concerning Termination of Prosecution Based on Restorative Justice. The implementation of Restorative Justice in the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor's Regulation Number 15 of 2020 begins with an offer from the Public Prosecutor to the victim and perpetrator during prosecution. This offer is made by summoning the victim and other related parties, such as community leaders, families of the victims/perpetrator, community representatives, and other parties related to the case

Rivers of the Sultan: The Tigris and Euphrates in the Ottoman Empire
The Tigris and Euphrates rivers run through the heart of the Middle East and merge in the area of Mesopotamia known as the 'cradle of civilization.' In their long and volatile political history, the sixteenth century ushered in a rare era of stability and integration. A series of military campaigns between the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf brought the entirety of their flow under the institutional control of the Ottoman Empire, then at the peak of its power and wealth. *Rivers of the Sultan* tells the history of the Tigris and Euphrates during the early modern period. Under the leadership of Sultan Süleyman I, the rivers became Ottoman from mountain to ocean, managed by a political elite that pledged allegiance to a single household, professed a common religion, spoke a lingua franca, and received orders from a central administration based in Istanbul. Faisal Husain details how Ottoman unification institutionalized cooperation among the rivers' dominant users and improved the exploitation of their waters for navigation and food production. Istanbul harnessed the energy and resources of the rivers for its security and economic needs through a complex network of forts, canals, bridges, and shipyards. Above all, the imperial approach to river management rebalanced the natural resource disparity within the Tigris-Euphrates basin. Istanbul regularly organized shipments of grain, metal, and timber from upstream areas of surplus in Anatolia to downstream areas of need in Iraq. Through this policy of natural resource redistribution, the Ottoman Empire strengthened its presence in the eastern borderland region with the Safavid Empire and fended off challenges to its authority. Placing these world historic bodies of water at its center, *Rivers of the Sultan* reveals intimate bonds between state and society, metropole and periphery, and nature and culture in the early modern world

“Banuroja” (One Village with Three Religions): A Model of Social Harmony in Gorontalo
Banuroja is an acronym for “Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Gorontalo and Java”. From its naming identity, it appears that the community is heterogeneous both in terms of ethnicity, language, culture and religion. The heterogeneity of the people of Banuroja Village is actually an element that strengthens the harmony between them. There does not appear to be arrogance from followers of a particular religion, there is no excessive militancy, there is no intrigue to negate each other. This study shows that there are five aspects which are the key words of the Banuroja social harmony, namely (1) aspects of education and youth; (2) aspects of settlement and tradition; (3) aspects of work; (4) aspects of village government institutions; and (5) other aspects such as the prominent figures / religious elites. The driving aspects of integration on the one hand are actually at the same time a trigger for conflict on the other side. The author argues that the people of Banuroja have succeeded in showing that harmony is not just passive co-existence, not an artificial harmony. Living in diversity, in the context of Banuroja, actually being actualized by active co-existence in intimate friendship dissolves in the specialness of each rite without denouncing the other rites

This research aims to determine the legal status of marriage agreement deeds made before a notary without being registered at the Marriage Registration Office as well as the legal impact for third parties of marriage agreements made before a notary without being registered at the Marriage Registration Office if a dispute occurs. The type of research is qualitative with a statutory approach. Data collection techniques are documentation, observation and literature study. This type of research is a normative approach or doctrinal research which is oriented towards approaches to various statutory and regulatory norms. The research results show that 1) the legal position of a marriage agreement deed made before a notary without being registered at the Marriage Registry Office is that the agreement remains valid and binding for husband and wife, but does not have binding legal force on third parties. 2) A marriage agreement made before a notary but not registered at the Marriage Registry Office does not have binding legal force on third parties. The legal consequence is that third parties are not bound by the agreement and can assume that the assets of the husband and wife are joint assets. In the event of a dispute or debt, a third party can demand a settlement involving the couple's joint assets, because there is no legally recognized separation of assets
