The article is devoted to the study of the personality of Anika Fedorovich Stroganov, the entrepreneur and philanthropist, who formed the foundations of the conduct of commercial and industrial affairs, ktitor and art patronage activities of the dynasty. To understand the factors that influenced his worldview and were reflected in the art of the Late Middle Ages, the author chose the theory of identity, which determines the involvement of a person in certain areas of culture. In the course of the study, the author identified historical figures who, by their example, influenced the formation and
development of Anika Fedorovich. The author make an attempt to identified those character traits that led to the success of the family not only in commercial and industrial activities, but also in the patronage of art. The material capital and spiritual baggage formed by Anika Stroganov became the foundation for the prosperity and cultural development of many subsequent generations. SH 459)
The uncertain quotation of Strabo 14. 6. 3 (= 683c), especially for vv. 3 f., reveals that the geographical mistake ascribed to Hedylus (SH 495) could be a misunderstanding of the imperial author. The hellenistic poet probably refers not to Corycus, in the region of Cilicia, as Strabo argues, but to the Corycian cave, a place sacred to Apollo and located in central greece on mount Parnassu
Archiloco. Elegie
Edition, critical text, translation and commentary on Archilochus’ Elegies. The book analyzes all the fragments known to date, including P.Oxy. 4708 frr. 1-8, and adds some fragments considered spurious or not elegiac by the previous editors. The result is a comprehensive study of the Archilochus’ elegiac production, showing that the ancient author has a iambic aptitude also in this genre because in these texts he makes use of the spudogeloion mode
In the surviving elegies of Critias, the etiological element
has a very important role; sometimes it become the description of the πρῶτος
εὑρετής, and it seems to be an innovative feature without parallel in the archaic poetry.
This aspect, which is specific to the author as we can verify from the poems we have, represents
a further proof of the close link between the literary practice and the public role
of the Athenian politician
The Doctor-Nurse Relationship in the Operating Theatre
This article examines the organisational culture in theatres, specifically the doctor-nurse relationship, based on the literature and the experience of one author (Anika Reynolds) on placement in theatres. The initial motivation for the study was noticing how well these doctors and nurses got on in a friendly, informal and efficient atmosphere. This relationship between the multidisciplinary team was especially surprising when compared with the experience of hospital wards. Why did such a difference exist? </jats:p
The novel "Anika decided to play" by Maria Petrovska school for life
: In this scientific article we will talk about the novel "Anika decided to play" by the young Macedonian author Marija Petrovska. For this purpose, through the character of the heroine - Anika, and her attitude towards life, her determination to achieve some things in life, for example to learn to play, in which she succeeds, we will try to show the influence of the altruistic and positivist attitude to the world that surrounds the child. Of course, for this purpose, it is indispensable to show the importance of close ones, relatives, parents, on the formation of these sides of the child's personality, a child who will become a worthy adult tomorrow
The impact of character strengths on the relationship between working conditions and work-related well-being on medical doctors
Character strengths are positive traits (Harzer & Ruch, 2015) and belong to Positive Psychology. Empirical results show that character strengths have an impact on satisfaction, (Hausler, Strecker, Huber, Brenner, Höge, & Höfer, 2017a, as cited in Proyer et al., 2013; Hausler, Strecker, Huber, Brenner, Höge, & Höfer, 2017b; Duan, 2016), well-being (Hausler et al., 2017b) and work engagement (Littman-Ovadia, Lavy, & Boiman-Meshita, 2017). Hence they are a positive resource for promoting and conserving health.
WELL-Med (Höge-Raisig & Höfer, 2017) was a project examining factors of influence on psychological health of resident doctors and medical students in Austrian hospitals. Voltmer, Kieschke and Spahn (2008) found that residents work under extreme work pressure have less time for their private life as well as dissatisfaction about their working conditions (Daugherty, Baldwin & Beverley, 1998).
Burnout is a negative health consequence resulting from strain which can be measured with the core variable emotional exhaustion (Hausler et al., 2017a).
This master thesis investigates the impact of character strengths for resident doctors at work (N=218) and their relationship of task-related, organisational and social stressors with emotional exhaustion.
The connections have been estimated with pearson correlations and moderator analysis with process from Hayes.
Outcomes of the moderator analysis showed significant correlations for intellectual character strengths and for application of signature strengths at work as a moderator.
For a better understanding of results the stressors were used as moderators on the relationship of character strengths and emotional exhaustion. Results showed a positive impact of intellectual character strengths for low intensities of stressors.
The interpretation of the results can demonstrate either that a high intensity of stressors degrades the usability and the use of character strengths as a resource at work or that intellectual character strengths promote emotional exhaustion due to their traits.
All results have to be reviewed in combination with limitations but nevertheless they support the factor of health promotion in hospitals.eingereicht von Anika RometschAbweichender Titel laut Übersetzung der Verfasserin/des VerfassersAbstract in englischer SpracheMasterarbeit Universität Innsbruck 202

Memory and Violence - An Interview with Jay Winter
How should we remember historical moments of violence and loss? What are the links between terrible events like the Holocaust, the mass casualties of World War I, the Armenian Genocide, and crises around the world today? What challenges do historians face as they examine and interpret death and war?
Anika Walke and Jay Winter both face such questions and issues in their research. Here, the two historians candidly discuss the process of seeking meaning in history, as well as the personal motivations behind their work. Winter, the Charles J. Stille Professor of History Emeritus at Yale University, has published numerous books on World War I. His public history efforts include serving as co-producer and lead historian of the Emmy-winning PBS series “The Great War and the Shaping of the 20th Century." Walke, an assistant professor of history at Washington University in St. Louis, is author of Pioneers and Partisans: An Oral History of Nazi Genocide in Belorussia
