No full textLewis Stiles, a 1955 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College which is now Oklahoma State University (OSU), describes how he became interested in being a veterinarian and talks about the education he received at OSU. He discusses his career from operating a private practice to working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help eradicate diseases in cattle. Stiles also provides background information on his family and on the Gardner Mansion and Museum that he owns and operates. He explains the land and the house were once owned by Jefferson Gardner, former chief of the Choctaws, and his efforts to collect and preserve American Indian artifacts in the museum.
