    No full text
At the 2018 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Jan Culik interviews film historian Peter Hames, the author of a number of monographs and articles about Czechoslovak and Czech cinema. They speak about the importance of the 1960 Czech New Wave and its impact on British film makers. After a 90-second introduction in Czech, the fifteen minute interview is conducted in English, with Czech subtitles. The interview was broadcast on the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 13th July 2018

This bachelor thesis maps the coverage of Peter Sis's two biographical author books in media. In particular, the Tree of Life and the Pilot and the Little Prince have been chosen. Firstly, the thesis focuses on the literary definition of these works, then outlines the life and artworks of the author. An interview with Petr Sís is also included and is theoretically explained in one of the chapters. This bachelor thesis introduces some important prizes in the field of books for children and youngsters, which the author has gained for his work. For example, the Hans Christian Andersen Award for lifetime achievement is mentioned there. The last chapter of this bachelor thesis focuses on the Tree of Life and the Pilot and the Little Prince and their media coverage. The results were achieved with the qualitative method of analysis. This thesis does not only focus on book reviews but also provides complete overview of media coverage of both mentioned books. Newton Media SEARCH and EBSCOhost electronic databases, magazines and newspapers in the National Library of the Czech Republic, web archives and reader's websites served to find the examined sample. Due to the fact that Peter Sis currently lives in the United States of America, the US media have been analyzed, too

KARAKTERISASI TOKOH DALAM ROMAN DER FÜRST SPRICHT KARYA JAN PETER BREMER

Literature is a form of creativity idea from the author. One of the forms is roman. There are characters in a roman. In the source of the data which was used is written data of Der Fürst spricht roman by Jan Peter. In this research selected roman Der Fürst spricht of Jan Peter Bremer as research objects. Roman Der Fürst spricht tells about der Fürst and his servants, if it is associated with a sense of romance, there is also the linkages between der Fürst and his servants. Therefore, need to know these linkages to understand the story well. Then, there are figures in a roman. For making the figures live, the author needs the characterization.. According to Minderop, characterization is character description. The research question of this research is: How the characterization of the characters in Der Fürst spricht roman by Jan Peter Bremer?. The purpose of this research is finding the characterization of the figures in Der Fürst spricht roman by Jan Peter Bremer. This research included into descriptive qualitative research. For analyzing the research problem, the research used a theory about indirectly characterization from Albertine Minderop and Enneagram theory from Oscar Ichazo dan Claudio Naranjo . The result of analysis showed that the roman of Der Fürst spricht by Jan Peter Bremer had, 1 figure tempered leader, 1 figure tempered wicked, 1 figure tempered liar, 3 characters tempered friendly, 1 figure tempered rescuer, 1 figure tempered romantic, 1 figure tempered generalist, 3 figures tempered faithful, 1 figure tempered careful, and 1 figure cruel character. Once found the character it can be seen that in the roman Der Fürst spricht more inclined to depictions through sociological terms, because the author depicts characters through figures interaction in the environment. Where all the figures in the roman Der Fürst spricht interact with each other in environment so it appears the character of each figure. Keywords : Roman, characterization,  figure

Název práce: Studium deformačních mechanism· v hořčíkové slitině s texturou pomocí pokročilých in-situ metod Autor: Bc. Jan Dittrich Katedra: Katedra fyziky materiál· Vedoucí diplomové práce: RNDr. Peter Minárik, PhD., Katedra fyziky materiál· Abstrakt: Cílem předkládané práce je zkoumání vzájemného vztahu textury a ak- tivace jednotlivých deformačních mechanism· během deformace válcované hořčí- kové slitiny AZ31. Pozorování povrchu deformovaných vzork· vysokorychlostní kamerou poté umožnilo přímé a okamžité sledování náhlých proces·, k nimž během deformace docházelo. Výsledky provedených měření potvrdily očekávanou anizotropii mechanických vlastností vzork· r·zných orientací v·či experimentálně zjištěné textuře zkouma- ného...Title: Investigation of deformation mechanisms in textured magnesium alloy by advanced in-situ methods Author: Bc. Jan Dittrich Department: Department of Physics of Materials Supervisor: RNDr. Peter Minárik, PhD., Department of Physics of Materials Abstract: This thesis aims to investigate the correlation between texture and the activation of particular deformation mechanisms during the deformation of a rolled magnesium alloy AZ31. A combination of advanced in-situ techniques, providing complementary information about the processes within the material during its deformation, was employed to achieve this goal. The combination of neutron diraction and acoustic emission measurements allowed to investigate both rapid and continuous processes related to changes of the material microstructure resulting from its deformation. The in-situ loading of the sample inside the chamber of a scanning electron microscope, coupled with the electron backscatter diraction analysis, provided more direct observations of the microstructural evolution. Furthermore, the high-speed camera imaging of the deformed sample surface enabled a direct, real-time view of the occurring rapid processes. The results of the experiments conrmed the anisotropy of the mechanical behaviour of samples oriented diversely with respect to the...Department of Physics of MaterialsKatedra fyziky materiálůMatematicko-fyzikální fakultaFaculty of Mathematics and Physic

Title: Compact objects in categories of modules Author: Peter Kálnai Department: Department of Algebra Supervisor: Mgr. Jan Žemlička, Ph.D., Department of Algebra Abstract: In the thesis we state baic properties of compact objects in various appropriate categories like categories of modules, stable factor category over a perfect ring and Grothendieck categories. We find a ring R such that the class of dually slender R-modules is closed under direct products under some set-theoretic assumption. Finally, we characterize the conditions, when countably generat- ed projective modules are finitely generated, expressed by their Grothendieck monoid. Keywords: compact, dually slender module, stable module category, projective module, self-smal
