«Dove ti sto cercando?». Giuliano Mesa e la poesia di Paul Celan
No full textThe article delves into the particular reading and reception of Paul Celan's work present in Giuliano Mesa's poetics. It is highlighted how the Italian author, in his most significant works, written between the end of the twentieth century and the first 10 years of the twenty-first century, recognizes in Celan a role as a true ethical guide to denounce the horrors of contemporaneity, placed in some ways in dialogue and in others in contrast with another key figure of twentieth-century art such as Samuel Beckett. The study also shows how the tragic line and the poetics of Celan's creature appear at the center of Mesa's last collection, which remained unfinished, creating an obsessive and dramatic dialogue between desperation and hope.L’articolo approfondisce la particolare lettura e ricezione dell’opera di Paul Celan presente nella poetica di Giuliano Mesa. Viene messo in rilievo come l’autore italiano, nelle sue opere più significative, scritte fra la fine del Novecento e i primi 10 anni del XXI secolo, riconosca in Paul Celan un ruolo di vera e propria guida etica per denunciare gli orrori della contemporaneità, posta per certi versi in dialogo e per altri in contrasto con un’altra figura chiave dell’arte novecentesca come Samuel Beckett. L’articolo mostra inoltre come la linea del tragico e la poetica della creatura di Celan si presentino al centro dell’ultima raccolta, rimasta incompiuta, di Mesa, creando un dialogo ossessivo e drammatico fra disperazione e speranza.Artykuł poświęcony jest interpretacji i odbiorowi twórczości Paula Celana w poetyce Giuliano Mesy. Podkreślono, w jaki sposób włoski autor w swoich najważniejszych dziełach, napisanych między końcem XX wieku a pierwszą dekadą XXI wieku, uznaje Celana za prawdziwego przewodnika etycznego, potępiającego okropności współczesności, w pewien sposób nawiązującego dialog, a w inny kontrastującego z inną kluczową postacią sztuki XX wieku, jaką był Samuel Beckett. W studium pokazano również, jak tragiczna linia i poetyka twórczości Celana pojawiają się w centrum ostatniego, niedokończonego zbioru Mesy, tworząc obsesyjny i dramatyczny dialog między desperacją a nadzieją
An artist in the concept of John Paul II in "The Letter to artists"
No full textTekst ukazuje koncepcję człowieka artysty w twórczości papieża Jana Pawła II. Artykuł jest tekstem opartym o źródła. Głównym źródłami jego myśli na temat artysty są dla nas dwa teksty: tzw. "Ewangelia a sztuka" i tzw. "List do artystów". Inne teksty Jana Pawła II są tylko dopełnieniem (uzupełnieniem) dla tych dwóch głównych tekstów źródłowych. Autor artykułu analizuje idee (koncepcje) człowieka-artysty w Liście do artystów, specjalnie w kontekście ogólnej koncepcji (ogólnego zarysu) kultury w opisach dokonanych przez Jana Pawła II (to jest nowością w tekście). W artykule znajdują się bardzo ważne cytaty (cytowania) z jego oryginalnego polskiego tekstu. Autor użył historiograficznej metody w swoim studium.The text shows the idea of an artist in creativity according to Bl. John Paul II. This article is a source-based text. Main sources of his thought about an artist are for us two texts: so called "Ewangelia a sztuka" ("Gospel and Art") and so called "The letter to artists". Another texts of John Paul II are only complement (supplement) for this two mainly sourced texts. An author of this article analyses ideas of a man – an artist, especially in the context of general outline of culture in descriptions done by John Paul II (this is novelty in this text). No full textIn this article the author reviews the interrelationship between faith and reason in the steps of John Paul II’s Encyclical Letter Fides et ratio. He explores briefly historical circumstances following Etienne Gilson. Then, he introduces philosophical and theological considerations of Cornelio Fabro to do theology in the footsteps of Aquinas. From the perspective of Thomism of the Italian philosopher and by recalling the most urgent theological tasks for the third millennium as indicated in Fides et ratio, the author presents general guidelines for the circularity of faith and reason within the context of fundamental theology. Throughout this article he reads Fides et ratio specifically through the Fabrian lens to present a fresh perspective as a contribution to fundamental theology. Finally, he recalls the conclusive recommendation of John Paul II in the aforementioned letter so as to harmonize reason and faith within a Marian framework.Autor dokonuje przeglądu wzajemnych relacji między wiarą a rozumem w świetle encykliki Jana Pawła II Fides et ratio. Za Etienne Gilsonem omawia pokrótce uwarunkowania historyczne. Następnie przedstawia niektóre filozoficzne i teologiczne rozważania Cornelio Fabra na temat uprawiania teologii śladami Akwinaty. Z perspektywy tomizmu włoskiego filozofa, przywołując najpilniejsze zadania teologiczne na trzecie tysiąclecie wskazane w Fides et ratio, autor przedstawia ogólne wytyczne dotyczące cyrkularności wiary i rozumu w kontekście teologii fundamentalnej. W całym artykule odczytuje Fides et ratio szczególnie przez pryzmat nauczania Cornelio Fabra, aby dać świeży wkład do teologii fundamentalnej. No full textAutor artykułu prezentuje hermeneutyczną metodę interpretacji jednego z najwybitniejszych filozofów XX wieku, jakim był Paul Ricoeur. Hermeneutyka jako taka nigdy nie znajdowała się w głównym nurcie filozofii, ale zawsze stanowiła jej znaczący obszar i przedmiot zainteresowania. Myśliciele wykorzystywali te narzędzia, by pełniej zająć się człowiekiem i zrozumieć wszystko, co stanowi typowo ludzki wytwór, jakim są teksty. Mówiąc o tekstach, hermeneutyka nie ogranicza się do słów i fraz, lecz uwzględnia także rytuały, gesty, obyczaje i relacje pomiędzy ludźmi oraz grupami społecznymi. W tym wszystkim jest działanie, które chce uchwycić pierwotne intencje autora i sensy zawarte w tekstach. Często sensy znacznie wykraczają poza to, co wniósł autor nam samym początku. Odkrycie tego wszystkiego jest zadaniem hermeneutyki.The author presents the hermeneutic method of interpretation of one of the most eminent 20th century philosophers, Paul Ricoeur. Hermeneutics as such has never been in the mainstream of philosophy but it has always been a significant domain and object of interest. The thinkers used its tools to study human beings more in depth and to understand everything there was about one of the unique to humans creations, their writings. Speaking of texts, hermeneutics is not limited to words and phrases but it extends to rituals, gestures, customs and relationships between people as individuals and social groups. In all of this, the aim is to capture the original intentions of the authors of the texts but also the intentions and meanings that may go beyond what they consciously intended to convey in the first place. Z perspektywy czasu warto zadać pytanie, czy papież realizował postulat posługiwania się techniką współczesnej komunikacji jako integralną częścią działalności Kościoła?Autor skupia się na dwóch znamiennych wydarzeniach – modlitwie przy Ścianie Płaczu w Jerozolimie i wołaniu o pokój w przededniu wybuchu II wojny w Zatoce Perskiej. Artykuł pokazuje, że potencjał komunikacyjny Jana Pawła II wypływał z jego osobowości nacechowanej historią własnych, osobistych przeżyć.John Paul II saw the mass media as a real cultural revolution – the first modern Areopagus, where a constant exchange of information, ideas and values takes place. From the perspective of time it is worthwhile to ask whether the Pope realized the postulate of using the modern communication technology as an integral part of the Church’s activity.The author focuses on two characteristic events – the Pope’s prayer at the Western Wall in Jerusalem and his appeal for peace on the eve of the Second Gulf War. The paper shows that John Paul II’s communication potential issued from his personality characterized by the history of his own personal experiences

No full textThe article is an attempt at analysing the mechanisms of discursive and symbolic violence that could be found in German-language reception of the works by Paul Celan. The criticism – among others by Günter Blöcker and Hans Egon Holthusen – was often grounded upon anti-Semitism; Celan reacted to such criticism highly affectively, noting with concern the return of rhetoric resembling that of Nazi propaganda. The poet expressed his anxieties in a series of letters and several poems; the author of this article interprets them.Artykuł stanowi próbę analizy mechanizmów przemocy dyskursywnej i symbolicznej, które ujawniały się w przebiegu niemieckojęzycznej recepcji twórczości poety Paula Celana. Na krytykę (m.in. autorstwa Guntera Blöckera i Hansa Egona Holthusena), formułowaną nierzadko z pobudek antysemickich, Celan reagował w silnie afektywny sposób, rejestrując z niepokojem nawrót retoryki przypominającej nazistowską propagandę. artist associated with Wrocław entered the history of art as an author whose main form of transmission was paintings. The aim of the article is to show the character of Hałas as an interdisciplinary
artist, which is manifested in activities in the public space of the city. The research was based on a
qualitative review of the author's work supported by sorting available data. The analysis of Hałas's
artistic objects designed for the city space was presented in the form of a description with explanation and subjected to logical interpretation. Based on the conducted process, conclusions were
made demonstrating the artist's commitment to introducing various artistic forms into the city space.
These activities go beyond the generally accepted image of the artist limited to his painting activity.Józef Hałas to jednen z klasyków polskiego malarstwa przełomu XX i XXI wieku. Związany z Wrocławiem artysta zapisał się w historii sztuki jako autor, którego główną formą przekazu były obrazy.
