    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je ispitati uspješnost chip budding metode okuliranja na autohtonoj sorti šljive Čačanska ljepotica. Okuliranje je provedeno na način da smo umetnuli pupove šljive sorte Čačanska ljepotica na podlogu Prunus myrobolana. Pokus je započeo 16. svibnja 2019. godine u selu Ruševu na području Požeško – slavonske županije. Nakon tri tjedna učinjen je pregled rasadnika te smo pristupili prikupljanju i obradi podataka. Na terenu smo utvrdili da je na uzorku od 75 pregledanih podloga, primitak bio 40 primljenih pupova, odnosno 53,33 %.The aim of this final paper was to examine the success of the chip budding method of grafting on the autochthonous plum variety Čačanska ljepotica. The grafting performed by inserting the buds of the plum variety Čačanska ljepotica on the root of Prunus myrobolana. The experiment began on May 16, 2019 in the village of Ruševo in the area of Požega-Slavonia County. After three weeks, the review was done, and data collection and processing started. In the field, we determined that on a sample of 75 substrates examined, the receipt was 40 received buds, or 53.33%

    Cilj ovog završnog rada je proučiti utjecaj dviju različitih visina cijepljenja i starosti podloge, na razvoj jednogodišnjih izboja i uspjeha presađivanja, na sorti kruške. Eksperiment je započeo 29. svibnja 2018. godine. Sorta kruške Carmen cijepljena je na visini od trideset i četrdeset centimetara. Koristili smo tehniku „čip okulacije“. Nakon 14 dana provjeravali smo uspjeh presađivanja, a nakon mjesec dana mjerili dužinu jednogodišnjih izbojaThe goal of this final work is to study influence of two different height of grafting and the age of rootstock, on development of one year shoot and success of grafting on pear Carmen variety. The experiment began on 29th May 2018. Pear variety Carmen were grafted at the height of thirty and forty centimeters. We used „chip budding“ technic. Iako Hrvatska nema tradiciju u proizvodnji viskija, očekujemo u skorijoj budućnosti povećanje broja zanatskih destilerija koje će se baviti ovom proizvodnjom.In this paper, we provide an overview of whiskey production technology, as well as an overview of small craft distilleries engaged in whiskey production in Croatia. Although Croatia has no tradition in whiskey production, we expect an increase in the number of craft distilleries that will be involved in this production shortly
