Membentuk Karakter Kritis Dengan Penilaian Pembelajaran Berbasis High Order Thingking Skill (HOTS) Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam
Character formation is one of the goals of education, especially Islamic
education. One important character is a critical character. Critical is a character that
is commonly owned by students, the formation of this character is seen from the
ability of students to analyze various kinds of problems sharply and deeply. The
purpose of this study is to reveal that in developing the critical thinking character of
students, it is necessary to apply a learning assessment based on High Order
Thinking Skills (HOTS). HOTS-based assessment is an assessment based on
questions compiled by the teacher to measure the ability of students in the realm of
analysis, evaluation, and creativity. The method used in this research is library
research method using a descriptive approach. The results of this study are in the
form of concepts used in HOTS-based assessments, as well as their implementation
in PAI subjects. Not only that, the competence of a PAI teacher in the application of
the HOTS-based assessment concept is very influential, so that the HOTS-based
assessment is able to form a critical character in students
ISLAMISASI ILMU PENGETAHUAN KONTEMPORER DI PERGURUAN TINGGI PESANTREN: STUDI KASUS UNIVERSITAS DARUSSALAM GONTOR
The Islamization of contemporary science has become very relevant as an effort to ensure that the development of science remains in line with universal Islamic values, because of the many liberal thoughts that infiltrate the campus world. This study aims to understand the challenges in integrating contemporary science with Islamic values ​​at Universitas Darussalam Gontor University. The focus of the study includes an analysis of the concept of Islamization of science, identification of existing challenges and opportunities, and how Universitas Darussalam Gontor deals with liberal thinking that is developing in the campus environment. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis at Universitas Darussalam Gontor. The results of the study indicate that Universitas Darussalam Gontor has succeeded in implementing the concept of Islamization of contemporary science in Islamic boarding school-based higher education. This is done through curriculum integration, intellectual dialogue, and discussion forums that strengthen Islamic character education in order to improve the process of Islamization of science at Universitas Darussalam Gontor. To strengthen and improve the process of Islamization of science at Universitas Darussalam Gontor, several strategic steps need to be taken, both in developing an Islamic-based curriculum, improving the quality of lecturers and students, and strengthening research and discussion facilities.

PERAN PESANTREN DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT LOKAL: STUDI KASUS DI UNIVERSITAS DARUSSALAM GONTOR KELAS C
Universitas Darussalam Gontor tidak hanya menjadi lembaga pendidikan tetapi juga pusat ekonomi yang menciptakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat setempat. Dengan perkembangan teknologi di era digital ini, masyarakat mengalami kesulitan mencari pekerjaan, sehingga meningkatkan popularitas pengangguran di Indonesia. Melalui hal ini, Universitas Darussalam Gontor memberikan lapangan kerja kepada masyarakat setempat sebagai petugas kebersihan di lingkungan kampus sehingga dapat mengurangi tingkat kemiskinan dan pengangguran di masyarakat sekitar Universitas Darussalam Gontor Kelas C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Universitas Darussalam Gontor dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Universitas Darussalam Gontor telah berhasil meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui program-program pemberdayaan yang berdampak positif bagi pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Hal ini juga dapat diterapkan oleh pesantren atau lembaga pendidikan lainnya, oleh karena itu hubungan antara masyarakat dan pesantren harus terjalin dengan baik sehingga dapat saling menguntungkan.

KONTRIBUSI MAHASANTRI SEBAGAI AGENT OF CHANGE DALAM TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI ERA DIGITAL LEARNING
Students are a group of the nation's generation who have intellectual thinking and are also obliged to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. A student has been equipped with knowledge and expertise embedded in each individual. The purpose of this study is to explore the contribution, role and function of students as intellectual development of students in the world of education in forming a change in the era of digital learning. This study uses library research by collecting library data, reading, and recording research materials. The results of this study indicate that a student as an agent of change and has effective and strategic intellectual thinking in order to make someone useful to society is also responsible for the development of Human Resources (HR). In this case, students are required to be role models or uswatun hasanah who are the benchmark for future generations. The results are what contributions are given by students as agents of change, that intellectual mastery of education is very influential for students to continue to exist in the era of digital learning. Thus, students are expected to be able to welcome future generations in developing the quality of education and minimizing the decline in education today.

PANCA JIWA PESANTREN SEBAGAI WUJUD INTERNALISASI NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER GUNA MEREALISASIKAN FUTURE RELIGION DI TENGAH GEJOLAK ERA VUCA
In the midst of the turmoil of the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era, society faces various challenges that test the resilience of spiritual and moral values. Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has an ideal foundation called ‘Panca Jiwa,’ which includes five core values: sincerity, simplicity, self-sufficiency, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and freedom. These values play a fundamental role in building the character of santri, which is expected to be a spiritual and moral solution in the VUCA era. The five souls of pesantren become a barn to realise the Future Religion in the midst of the turmoil of the VUCA era. This study aims to analyse how the implementation of the Panca Jiwa pesantren can contribute to the internalisation of character education values, which in turn plays an important role in realising the concept of Future Religion, which is a religion that is relevant, adaptive, and strong in facing the challenges of the times. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature study techniques. The results showed that the Five Souls of pesantren play an important role in shaping superior character, making santri able to adapt and take a role in a plural and dynamic society. The implementation of these values strengthens the character of santri in spiritual and social aspects, making them agents of change in creating peace, harmony, and social stability. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
