Antropotechnical aspects of furniture design

Njega čine pokretni dio (ljudsko tijelo) i nepokretni dio (tehnički objekt – određena vrsta namještaja). Cilj istraživanja bio je prikazati antropotehničko gledište projektiranja namještaja za sjedenje i objedovanje. U radu je posebna pozornost pridana metodologiji vrednovanja ergonomije stolice, sustava stola i stolice te grupe stolova, pri čemu su kriteriji vrednovanja bili antropometrijske dimenzije korisnika, krutost sjedala i vrijednost deformacije na površini sjedala.A person having direct contact with a piece of furniture becomes part of an arrangement known as anthropotechnical system made up of an animate part (human body) and an inanimate part (technical facility – a piece of furniture). The aim of the research project was to present anthropotechnical aspects of furniture design for sitting and meal consumption. In particular, the author discussed the methodology of the assessment of ergonomics of a chair, a table and a chair + table set, where the assessment criteria were: anthropometric dimensions of the user, stiffness of seats and the value of contact strains on the seat surface

No full textTyt. z nagłówka.Bibliogr. s. [76].This paper presents numerical study of deformation and stresses in seat skeleton elements subject to static and dynamic pressure loads. Elastic skeleton made of polyamide or elastomer is taken as an example of a seat material. Auxetic type of seat structure ensures the reduction of real contact stresses between human body and seat, making it more comfortable than typical. FEM analysis is performed using ABAQUS system. Numerical calculations are carried out to determine the nonlinear stiffness characteristics of seat springs. The study makes possible the selection of material and structural topology fulfilling design constraints and additional recommendations concerning structural flexibility, stability and optimal reduction of contact stresses. This paper presents an application of the theoretical prediction to solve the practical problem.Artykuł przedstawia studium obliczeniowe elementów szkieletu siedziska wykonanych z elastomeru lub poliamidu poddanych typowym obciążeniom statycznym i dynamicznym od siedzenia. Auksetyczne własności struktury szkieletu siedziska powodują redukcją naprężeń kontaktowych między ciałem człowieka i siedziskiem, czyniąc je bardziej komfortowym w użytkowaniu. Obliczenia przeprowadzono programem ABAQUS metodą elementów skończonych. W wyniku otrzymano nieliniowe charakterystyki sprężyn siedziska. Studium obliczeniowe pozwala na wybór materiału i kształtu sprężyn spełniających warunki projektowe dotyczące wytrzymałości, podatności stabilności oraz optymalnej redukcji naprężeń kontaktowych. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Models of Hybrid Springs for Ergonomic Seats and Mattresses
Get PDFErgonomsko sjedište ili madrac mora osigurati optimalnu i ujednačenu potporu za tijelo muškarca ili žene sličnih ili neznatno različitih veličina. Uobičajeno je mišljenje da su opružni sustavi ojastučenog namještaja mnogo izdržljiviji i prilagodljiviji korisniku nego sustavi od pjene. Cilj je ovog rada bio razviti novu konstrukciju ojastučenog namještaja s oprugama bilinearne krutosti. Na temelju provedenih istraživanja i analiza dobivenih rezultata zabilježeno je da tradicionalne bonnell i barrel opruge pokazuju linearnu krutost u rasponu progiba do 70 % od početnog stanja. Opruge nove izvedbe mijenjaju krutost već pri progibu od 34 % od početnog stanja. Zahvaljujući toj činjenici, mogu se upotrebljavati u dizajniranju sjedala i madraca za pojedinačne korisnike, pacijente ili invalidne osobe.An ergonomic seat or mattress has to provide optimal and uniform support for the body of a man or a woman with similar or slightly differing size centiles. It is a common opinion that spring systems in upholstered furniture are much more durable and more user-friendly than foam systems. The aim of this study was to develop a new construction of an upholstery spring of bilinear stiffness. On the basis of the conducted studies and analysis of their results, it was shown that traditional bonnell and barrel springs exhibit linear stiffness within the range of deflections of up to 70 % of their initial pitch. New spring designs change stiffness already at defl ections of 34% of their pitch. Thanks to this fact they may be used in designs of seats and mattresses for individual users, patients or disabled individuals

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
