No full textIn the last decades, methodological advancements in the natural and exact sciences have increasingly been used to study the past. In this chapter, we review how such developments can be applied to address questions regarding Neanderthal identification, phylogeny, chronology, mobility, climate, and diet. These examples illustrate how prehistoric studies are becoming inherently multidisciplinary, as each research strategy brings forward a different type of information. Piecing these various data together can enrich our understanding of Neanderthals, allowing us to gain a more comprehensive view of our past

Namen in cilj tega diplomskega dela sta predstaviti poslovni načrt za nadaljnje poslovanje podjetja Hotel Slon, d. d., Ljubljana, ki v prihodnosti načrtuje večjo prenovo.
V prvem delu smo predstavili podjetje in pojasnili, kakšne so njegove trenutne konkurenčne prednosti. Nato sledijo najprej analiza panoge in predstavitev obstoječega proizvoda, v nadaljevanju pa opis, kakšni bodo proizvodi in storitve po prenovi. V tem delu opišemo tudi idejno zasnovo, na podlagi katere bo potekala prenova hotela.
Naloga se nato nadaljuje z analizo trga, v kateri predstavimo konkurenco in v primerjavi z njo tudi naše prednosti. Sledi načrt trženja, v katerem nakažemo, kakšni bosta naša trženjska in cenovna strategija po prenovi.
Poslovni načrt vključuje tudi poglavja, v katerih opišemo proizvodni in storitveni načrt, vodstveno skupino in kadre ter splošen terminski načrt, prav tako pa tudi, kakšna so kritična tveganja in izzivi.
V zadnjem delu smo na podlagi vseh zbranih informacij naredili še finančni načrt ter predstavili pričakovano poslovanje podjetja po prenovi.The business plan is one of the most important documents for the successful implementation of business opportunities.
The purpose and objective of this diploma is to present a business plan for further business of the company Hotel Slon d.d. Ljubljana, which is planning a major renovation.
In the first part, we present the company and its current major competitive advantages. We focus on the industry analysis and presentation of existing products, and what products and services will be offered after the renovation. In this section, we also describe conceptual design as a basis for planned renovation of the hotel.
Diploma thesis then continues with an analysis of the market where we present our competition and what are our advantages. This is followed by marketing plan in which we present our marketing and pricing strategy after the renovation will be done.
The business plan also includes chapters where we describe production and service plan, management team and personnel, basic timetable plan and what are the critical risks and challenges.
In the last part, based on all the information we gathered, we have made a financial plan and presented expected business results after the renovation
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

No full textTato učebnice je určena zejména vysokoškolským studentům sociálních a humanitních věd bakalářského a magisterského stupně. Jde o práci kolektivní a svým pojetím i rozsahem v českém prostředí ojedinělou. Je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V první části je politika vykládána očima nejrůznějších disciplín - od politologie přes filosofii, psychologii, antropologii, právo, geografii a ekonomii až po historii. Obsahem druhé části jsou úvody do vybraných subdisciplín politické vědy, jako je komparativní politologie, teorie mezinárodních vztahů a správní věda. Ve třetí části jsou zpracovány úvody do kvantitativních a kvalitativních metod v politické vědě, včetně tzv. kvalitativní srovnávací analýzy. Čtvrtá část pak pojednává o některých velkých tématech politiky, jako jsou stranické a volební systémy, národy a nacionalismus nebo demokracie a nedemokratické režimy.
