Depopulation of the country and rural areas of Bulgaria and development of digital and precision agriculture in them
During the last decades and years of transition, Bulgaria has seen extremely unfavorable and negative trends in its natural growth. It is entirely negative and reinforced by the rate of net migration and the widespread aging of the country's population leads to very unfavorable results for the population in the rural areas of the country. At the same time, the prerequisites for implementing precision and digital agriculture are being successfully developed in the world, Europe and Bulgaria.The purpose of the present study is to analyze the situation in the country from a demographic point of view, to determine whether the declining population in rural areas is not a prerequisite for the faster emergence of the process of digitization and precision agriculture in rural areas of Bulgaria.For the purposes of our research, scientific, statistical methods, as well as methods of induction, deduction, comparative analysis, GAP analysis were used, and its results can be successfully used and applied by all interested parties

Water soil erosion is a phenomenon in which soil particles are separated transported and translocated by the action of rain water. Removal of topsoil by water flow leads to a decrease of humus in the soil, deterioration of soil structure, compaction, and reduction of microbial activity.Developed and tested have been number of methods and technologies for soil protection from the effects of water erosion. Such technology is vertical mulching, and straw or compost applied as mulching material.This work is a study of the changes that occur in some soil chemical properties and soil microbiological activity, as a result in the implementation of anti-erosion measure vertical mulching with different mulching materials for growing corn and wheat grain on carbonate chernozem, on sloping agricultural lands
Success of the strategic management of Boni Holding JSC
Strategic governance over the last thirty years has proven itself to be, undoubtedly, the best way to manage the agrarian business, and not only that. As a successful example, we can mention "Bonnie Holding" JSC in Bulgaria. The company activities include: feed manufacturing, pig hybrids breeding, commodity production of various types of local products, slicing and meat processing. The main objective of this article is to analyze the activity of Boni Holding JSC, to track the relationships of mutual partnerships between suppliers, customers and competitors and to define thestrategies the company applies as a result of its strategic management. The article uses data kindly provided by the company, along with methods of deduction and induction, as a strategic profile of the company has been made, which allows the determination of the applied strategies in practice
Production of various types of poultry in Bulgaria for the period 2010-2018
Poultry farming has always been a major part of animal husbandry in every country. Bulgaria is no exception and has a long-standing tradition in the breeding and production of various types of poultry. In reality, our country was mainly producing chickens, laying hens and eggs in the beginning, but was also successful in the breeding of ducks, turkeys, geese, yurts and other feathered more extravagant species, such as quails, ostriches, pheasants, etc. The main purpose of this article is to analyze the production of different types of poultry in Bulgaria for a sufficiently long period of 9 years, to be able to predict trends and changes that may occur in different types of poultry in the country and to determine not only which ones shall have a leading role for specific regions in Bulgaria, but also the ways to increase their effective production in the direction of closing the production and sales cycle with poultry products processing and reaching the end customer. The article uses methods of situation analysis, time series analysis, induction, deduction, extrapolation, trend derivation and logical dependencies, method of adding value and creating a final product
EFFECT OF SOME SOIL APPLIED HERBICIDES ON SOIL MICROFLORA
A study on the effect of some herbicides on the number of soil microbial populations and microbial activity was conducted. The herbicides Adengo (225 g/l Isoxaflutol + 90 g/l Thiencarbazone-methyl + 150 g/l Ciprosulfamide (antidote)), Dual Gold (960g/l S-metolachlor), Marlin Flexx (240 g/l isoxaflutol) were applied, in optimal and doubled dose. There was a decrease in the amount of ammonifying bacteria, actinomycetes, nitrifying bacteria, soil fungi in some of the treatments, and the strongest effect, especially in the initial stages of incubation is the suppression of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. After 120 days of incubation in most variants of the experiment, the suppressive effect of herbicides disappeared
