Analisis Semiotika Dalam Novel Bidadari Berbisik Karya Asma Nadia
ABSTRACT Anis Latifa Nur.2021. skripsi. “Analisis Semiotika dalam Novel Bidadari Berbisik karya Asma Nadia. Literary works are a place for authors to voice their thoughts, beliefs and physical experiences, as well as the author's imagination. The language used by the author has a certain meaning. Language in the form of signs is interesting to study semantically. Semiotics is the study of signs which has three aspects, namely, icons, indexes and symbols. The Bidadari Whispering novel by Asma Nadia tells the story of Ning's journey in search of his mysteriously missing sister, armed with minimal information. The problems of this research are (1) How is the semiotics of the iconic aspects contained in Asma Nadia's Bidadari Berbisa novel?, (2) How are the index aspects of the semiotics contained in Asma Nadia's Bidadari Berbisa novel?, (3) How are the symbol aspects of the semiotics contained in the novel. The novel Bidadari Berklik by Asma Nadia? This study uses a qualitative approach. The research method uses descriptive methods. The data collection technique used is hermeneutic technique. Content analysis data analysis techniques. The data validity technique used triangulation technique. The theory used is the theory of Pradopo (2010), Nurgiyantoro (2013), Sobur (2003), Rusmana (2014). The results of this study are the icons of the entire novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia are 9 data. The index of the entire novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia is 21 data. The symbol of the entire novel Bidadari Bercepat by Asma Nadia is as much as 40 data. The results of this study are the authors found the existence of icons, indexes and symbols. The most dominant aspect in this novel is the symbol. The reason this aspect is more dominant is because symbols are related to culture. Novels are usually based on the author's experience in interacting with the public
The Partition Function of the Bose-Einstein Condensation in Parabolic Trap
We have discussed the partition function of the Bose-Einstein condensation in parabolic trap associated to the one dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation. The partition function itself is constructed by considering all the energy levels of the macroscopic quantum oscillator which is similar to statistical mechanics. The solutions of the energy levels for this case can be derived by pursuing the method that applies the time-independent perturbation theory. In this case, the one-dimensional Gross Pitaevskii equation can be treated as the one-dimensional macroscopic quantum oscillator on condition that the nonlinearity is very small. Moreover, the analytical expression for the ground state energy can be obtained by applying the method. However, the higher level states were not explicitly provided. In this research we followed up on the former work to derive explicitly the other states in order to formulate the partition function. However, we did not find the closed form of the partition function since the results of nonlinear term integral could not form the recursion relation. As a consequence, not only should the partition function but also the Helmholtz free energy and entropy should be reevaluated to check their convergences
The influence of laparoscopic handle design parameters and grasping strategy on the haptic perception of variable tissue stiffness
Stiffness perception in laparoscopic surgery has an important role in achieving appropriate tissue manipulation. The need for haptic feedback to perceive tissue stiffness and the reduce in haptic feedback when using laparoscopic instruments suggest an inability to sufficiently experience stiffness perception during laparoscopic surgeries. Better understanding of the perception of tissue stiffness could contribute to the development of better laparoscopic instruments. A stiffness ranking task has been performed with 16 participants, to study the influence of force transmission ratio, contact area and grasping strategy on the haptic perception of variable tissue stiffness. Using a newly developed set of laparoscopic grasper handles varying in the chosen independent variables, being the force transmission ratio and contact area, the participants performed multiple grasps with each grasper handle on a randomized order of tissue samples with three different stiffness levels and ranked them according to the perceived level of stiffness. Force measurements were done during the task and a survey was conducted afterwards. The results indicate that force transmission ratio and contact area do not influence the haptic perception of variable tissue stiffness. In terms of grasping strategy, a lower force exertion is shown to be desirable for perceiving the variable tissue stiffness, while the amount of grasps per tissue sample have not shown to influence the perception. Future studies with larger sample sizes might indicate a difference between high and low force transmission ratios. It is concluded that future designs of laparoscopic grasper handles might not be restricted in terms of force transmission ratio and contact area requirements when a greater haptic perception is aimed at. More haptic perception of variable tissue stiffness is gained in the surgical domain of applying the appropriate grasping strategies
