Programa de Pós-graduação em HistóriaPublicado em 1949 na França, O Segundo Sexo passou a ser uma das obras pioneiras dos estudos sobre as mulheres e das relações de gênero, sendo referência para os feminismos principalmente a partir dos anos 60 e 70. Nesta obra, ao analisar minuciosamente a "condição da mulher" na sociedade, Beauvoir compreendeu que a "figura feminina" e as posturas que lhes são atribuídas nada mais são do que construções do social produzidas ao longo da história. Partindo de uma história da leitura de O Segundo Sexo, informada pelas narrativas e pelas obras de divulgação das feministas brasileiras, este trabalho busca refletir sobre as possíveis ressonâncias que o texto de Simone de Beauvoir teria produzido no feminismo nacional. Published in 1949 in France, The Second Sex became one of the pioneer works of the studies on the women and of the gender relations, being mainly reference for the feminisms starting from the sixties and seventies. In this work, when analyzing the "woman's condition" minutely in the society, Beauvoir understood that the "feminine figure" and the postures that are attributed to them are nothing more than constructions of the social produced along the history. Leaving of a history of the reading of The Second Sex, informed by the narratives and for the works of the Brazilian feminists, this work intends to reflect about the possible resonances that the text of Simone de Beauvoir would have produced in the national feminism

    Dissertação (mestrado profissional) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro Sócio Econômico, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração Universitária, Florianópolis, 2013.O objetivo desta pesquisa foi propor as competências requeridas para os gestores em cargos de direção do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Catarinense - Câmpus Camboriú que poderão nortear as diretrizes de capacitação para o desenvolvimento de competências desses gestores. O estudo teve uma abordagem qualitativa, mas fez uso também de um instrumento quantitativo para a análise dos dados coletados. Quanto aos fins, ressalta-se que a pesquisa foi descritiva e quanto aos meios, bibliográfica, documental, de campo e estudo de caso. Para alcançar o que foi proposto realizou-se o levantamento documental e bibliográfico e uma entrevista semiestruturada com os gestores máximos deste Instituto, especialistas em gestão pública e gestores que ocuparam cargos de direção no Câmpus Camboriú deste Instituto. A partir da transcrição e análise dessas entrevistas e do levantamento documental e bibliográfico foram agrupados conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes para compor os indicativos de competências requeridas de forma geral para gestores em cargos de direção. Em uma segunda etapa, utilizou-se um questionário para validar os conhecimentos, as habilidades e as atitudes para compor as competências requeridas de forma específica, para o exercício de quatro cargos de direção do primeiro e segundo nível hierárquico da estrutura organizacional do Câmpus Camboriú deste Instituto, que posteriormente foram validados por meio da escala Likert por quatro gestores que já exerceram esses cargos. Com base na mensuração dos graus quatro e cinco da referida escala foram validados os conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes, que, agrupados passaram a compor os indicativos de competências para esses quatro cargos de direção individualizados. Para a sugestão de diretrizes de capacitação, com vistas a um programa de desenvolvimento de competências de gestores em cargos de direção do Câmpus Camboriú deste Instituto chegou-se a trilhas com base nos indicativos dessas competências, o último elemento da entrevista semiestruturada, levantamento bibliográfico e documental. Concluiu-se que os indicativos de competências requeridos para os cargos de direção do Câmpus Camboriú deste Instituto, na visão dos grupos de entrevistados desta pesquisa estão voltados às competências de gestão acadêmica e administrativa, legais, de relacionamento, de negociação, geopolíticas, globais, de comunicação, emocionais e de liderança.Abstract : The aim of this research was to propose the competencies required for the managers in management positions at the Technology and Science, Education of Federal Institute Catarinense - Campus Camboriú that may guide the training guidelines for the development of these managers competence. The study was a qualitative, but also made use of a quantitative tool for analyzing the data collected. As for the purpose, it is emphasized that the research was descriptive and the means used were, bibliographic, documental, field and case study. To achieve what was proposed a documental and bibliographic survey and a semi structured interview was carried out with the maximum managers of this Institute, experts in public management and managers who occupied leadership positions in Campus Camboriú of this Institute. From the transcription and analysis of these interviews and from the survey were grouped documentary and bibliographic knowledges , skills and attitudes to compose indicative of the competencies required in general for managers in leadership positions. In a second step, we used a questionnaire to validate the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for composing competencies in a specific manner for exercising four leadership posts in the first and second hierarchical level of the organizational structure in Campus Camboriú of this Institute, which were subsequently validated by means of a Likert scale of four managers who have held these positions . Based on the measurement of four and five degrees of that scale were validated knowledge, skills and attitudes, which were included in the pooled indicative of competence for these four positions toward individualized. Suggested guidelines for training, with a view to a program of competencies development for managers in leadership positions Campus Camboriú of this Institute came to trails indicative based on these competencies, the last element of the semi-structured interview, bibliographic and documentary. It was concluded that the indicative competencies required for managerial positions in Campus Camboriú of this Institute, in view of the groups interviewed in this research are focused on management competence and academic administrative, legal, relationship, trading, geopolitics, global, communication, emotional and leadership

    El presente trabajo se propone establecer el entramado entre algunas tesis sostenidas por Simone de Beauvoir en sus textos teóricos o filosóficos (sobre todo de su tratado de 1949, Le Deuxième Sexe) y sus textos ficcionales compuestos hacia la década de los años sesenta. Mediante el análisis textual, procuraremos demostrar cómo esas tesis sostenidas en los primeros son ilustradas en los segundos y arriesgar algunas hipótesis sobre las implicancias de esas estrategias de transposición. Así, veremos el modo como de Beauvoir construye un sujeto mujer que se autodesigna, y elabora representaciones de la feminidad y la masculinidad alternativas que desestabilizan los estereotipos sexistas, a través de los cuales el patriarcado se ha legitimado y perpetuado como sistema de privilegios. Indagaremos asimismo en la importancia que las narrativas han tenido en la construcción de la feminidad occidental y en el rol que nuevas representaciones emancipatorias pueden tener para la causa de la liberación de la mujer y para un vínculo más igualitario entre ambos sexos.Abstract: This paper sets out to establish the connections between some thesis upheld by Simone de Beauvoir in her theoretical and philosophical texts (above all, in her 1949 treaty, Le Deuxième Sexe) and her fictional texts, produced in the sixties. By means of textual analysis we shall attempt to show how the thesis upheld in those former works are illustrated by the latter, and advance some hypothesis about the implications brought about by those strategies of transposition. We shall see the manner in which de Beauvoir constructs a woman subject that names herself and elaborates alternative representations of femininity and masculinity which destabilize sexist stereotypes, through which patriarchy has perpetuated and legitimated itself as a system of privileges. We shall also delve into the important role played by narratives in the construction of Western femininity and the role that new emancipating representations can have in the female liberation movement and in a more egalitarian relationship between the two sexes

    A Metaethical Study of Simone Weil’s Notion of Attention Through Critical Practical Analogy

    This research provides an example of art practice employed within a metaethical framework by addressing Simone Weil‘s ethical notion of attention. In this thesis, 'metaethics‘ is defined as a second order inquiry into first order questions of normative ethics, more specifically, an inquiry into the metaphysical and epistemological premises of Weil‘s discourse on the ethical value of attention. On one hand, I demonstrate how Weil‘s notion of attention can expand the scope of art so as to include metaethics. On the other hand, I use art to widen the current knowledge of Weilian attention. The research projects described and analysed in this thesis are predicated on a method which I designate 'critical practical analogy‘; this is an analogy which includes art practical operations for the purpose of critical investigation. This method subsumes both theoretical and practical inquiries. I used two analogies: – Normative analogy compares (a) the dualistic relation that Weil postulates between agent and reality in her discourse on attention to (b) the relation that I postulate between my agency through observational drawing and the object of observation. The analogy operates by using Weil‘s assertions on attention normatively in observational drawing. – Imaginal analogy compares (a) Weil‘s use of tautology and contradiction in her arguments for ethical attention to (b) tautology and contradiction considered as argument forms. The analogy operates by giving aesthetic presence to these forms, i.e. by turning them into images through artworks. The analogies obtained the following outcomes: – The normative projects afford a practical knowledge of Weilian attention by interpreting it as an ethical practice of detachment. The projects also demonstrate that, notwithstanding Weil‘s transcendent view of truth, such a practice of detachment is compatible with a subjective notion of truth. – By capitalising on the non-propositional mode of representation which is typical of visual art, the imaginal projects engender a scepticism which favours dialogue and values questions as positive research results. The outcomes indicate the following implications for visual arts practice: – The outcomes of the normative projects demonstrate how contemporary artists who regard notions of universal truth with scepticism need not necessarily disavow ethical intentions in their practice. – Due to its propositional character, theoretical metaethics can reach an impasse from which it can only point discursively to the limits of language. The outcomes of the imaginal projects evidence that art can move beyond these limits non-propositionally. The use of critical practical analogy also indicates a methodological implication for art practical, interdisciplinary research. Critical practical analogy could provide artists with both a heuristic research tool and a template for articulating a discursive representation of art practice which both acknowledges the non-linearity and indirectness of practice-led research and the need for interdisciplinary intelligibility
