The purpose of the Bachelor's thesis was to start study in the sphere of the construction 3D printing for university, to begin to analyse the topic and to present relevant data for other authors who could continue to study 3D construction printing area. The research constituent of the thesis comprises comparison of large-scale 3D-printers (construction 3D-printers) to small-scale ones (ceramic 3D-printers). The first part of the thesis comprises a description of the process of 3D printing, in this section the author shows companies and real models produced with ceramic 3D printers, their specifications, and performance. Information on prices and technical characteristics were gathered from the official websites of producers. The second part of the thesis comprises a description of methodology of additive production for small-scale 3D printers. 3D printing was taken as example by the author because it bears much resemblance to the concrete 3D printing. Various key methods were collected and described based on data from other publicly available research articles and reports. The third part of the thesis contains practical issues and difficulties of construction 3D printing. 3D printing is known by its several benefits over standard methods. The author`s main point was to demonstrate the advantages and findings obtained from real projects. This section describes the major manufacturers and construction 3D printers. Also, this part contains the analysis of the workflow and various kinds of 3D printers. The outcome of the thesis deciding on the selection of construction 3D printing technology based the results of a comparative analysis of small-scale and large-scale construction 3D printing

Polish features in the Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s writing

Poland and Polish people are shown in the Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s writing in the context of complicated Polish-Russian relations. In Repentance and Self-limitation the author criticises Polish nation for being unable to repent and admit making mistakes in the past in a historical context. At the same time he claims that Russians have a natural ability to repentance, that is a condition of a moral renewal of a nation. Nevertheless, the overall picture of the Polish nation in Solzhenitsyn’s writing is positive. This Russian Nobel prize winner highlights Polish courage, pride and their undeterred struggle for freedom. In The Gulag Archipelago the author eternalises a Polish scientist named Jerzy Wegierski, a prisoner of a forced labour camp, who had been Solzhenitsyn’s friend till his death. It is also very important to highlight Solzhenitsyn’s respect and attitude toward the Pope John Paul II. The article is an attempt to recall and analyse Polish features in the Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s writing

Notatka Nikołaja Grinkiewicza „O szkole” i teksty uzupełniające

    No full text
The text corpus of the Grinkevich Research and Translation Project About the School, which had an active phase in 2014-2019, is considered. The sources of 9 texts are: 2 – the Alaskan Russian Church archive in the Library of Congress, 3 – N. Russel’s brochure, 4 – San Francisco newspapers; the note On the School by N. Grinkevich is supplemented, confirming the facts reported in it, by 2 testimonies of Dr. Russel himself (including the history of the creation of the note), 3 parts dedicated to the school student of Belarusian-Tlingit origin N. Savchenko (letters from his father Demian), 2 newspaper publications revealing Grinkevich’s ambiguous role. The obvious reason for the change in public position of this psalm reader, later a member of the Ecclesiastical Consistory of Alaska in relation to the problems of the church school was the inertial adherence to routine rules and procedures, official subordination and the desire to maintain position, but it was the promulgation of his note by the revolutionaries that probably led to his dismissal, already as an archpriest, from the Diocese of the Aleutians and Alaska. Oczywistymi przyczynami „zmiany stanowiska” tego psalmisty, później członka Konsystorza Kościelnego Alaski w odniesieniu do problemów szkoły kościelnej były przestrzeganie rutynowych zasad i procedur, oficjalne podporządkowanie i chęć utrzymania pozycji. Regina Čičinskajte University of Vilnius, Lithuania [email protected]   ŚMIERĆ JAKO PROBLEM ŻYCIA:JURIJ ŁOTMAN, ROLANDAS PAVILIONIS, ALEKSANDR PIATIGORSKIJ Streszczenie Autorka świadoma odrębności myślenia filozofa i filologa analizuje temat śmierci w dziełach Jurija Łotmana, Rolandasa Pavilionisa oraz Aleksandra Piatigorskiego. Podkreśla, że zaistniał on w pracach wymienionych autorów bez religijnego podtekstu, w wymiarze czysto fenomenologicznym. Artykuł poszerzony został o refleksje na tytułowy temat z twórczości Władysława Chodasiewicza, Anny Achmatowej oraz Meraba Mamardaszwili.   DEATH AS A PROBLEM OF LIFE:YURI LOTMAN, ROLANDAS PAVILIONIS, ALEKSANDR PIATIGORSKY Summary Aware of the distinctiveness of the thinking of the philosopher and the philologist, the author has extracted the theme of death from the texts of Yuri Lotman, Rolandas Pavilionis, Aleksandr Piatigorsky, emphasizing that it has appeared in the works of these writers without any religious background, in the purely phenomenological dimension. The article is broadened with reflections on the works concerning the title theme authored by Vladislav Khodasevich, Anna Akhmatova and Merab Mamardaszvili.

    No full text
This paper is devoted to the cultural activity of the Russian emigrant, writer, journalist, critic and author of the memoirs – Aleksandr Khiryakov (1863-1940) in interwar Warsaw. His activity proves that he was an important representative of the diaspora, however he was marginalized by literary scholars. Khiryakov was involved in the life of the emigration community as a member of numerous literary groups and social committees. He initiated significant projects, voiced important ideas and actively cooperated with opinion-forming Russian newspapers, which propagated among their readers the conviction of their responsibility for the fate of Russia as well as its political and cultural missions

Title: Factorial Experiments Author: Aleksandr Kuropatov Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Zdeněk Hlávka, Ph.D, Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: This thesis is devoted to the description of the two-sample t-test and analysis of variance ANOVA, which represent important tools in the testing of statistical hypotheses. Subsequently, their permutation variants and their practical application are discussed, including the use of specific notation. In the first part, the theoretical foundations of classical tests are presented; afterward, attention is given to practical situations involving the use of ANOVA, especially in cases where the data are represented by functions, i.e., in the form of functional data. In the final chapter, a simulation study is conducted, aimed at estimating the power and significance level of the permutation ANOVA test. Keywords: Permutation test, Analysis of varianceNázev práce: Faktoriální experimenty Autor: Aleksandr Kuropatov Katedra pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistiky: Katedra pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistiky Vedoucí bakalářské práce: doc. RNDr. The Soviet Aesthetics of Aleksandr Voronsky: A Brief Exposition

    No full text
This paper presents a concise exposition of the aesthetic theory of the early Soviet literary critic Aleksandr Voronsky, the editor of Red Virgin Soil who was executed in Josef Stalin?s Great Purge.  Despite an anthology of Voronsky?s writings, published for the first time in English in 1998, no English-language scholarly attention has been paid to this work of non-Stalinist Soviet aesthetics.  The author focuses on Voronsky?s Marxism-Plekhanovism, his understanding of art and the unconscious, and his method of aesthetic evaluation
