Effect of Customer Relationship Management Practices and Market Orientation on Firm Performance of Thantwe Marine Products Co., Ltd. (Shwe Sin Win , 2024)
Get PDFThis study intends to analyze the effect of customer relationship management
(CRM) practices such as customer relationship focus, customer-centric organization
configuration, customer contact platforms, comprehensiveness of customer database and
access to business information on firm performance of Thantwe Marine Products Co.,
Ltd. (TMP). This research also analyzes the moderating effect of market orientation on
relationship between CRM practices and firm performance of TMP. Through online
surveys and using structured questionnaires, feedbacks are collected from 50 business
customers of TMP. The findings indicate that TMP’s CRM practices of customer-centric
organization configuration, customer contact platforms and access to business
information have positive effects on firm performance. This study also examines the
moderating effect of market orientation on the relationship between CRM practices and
firm performance of TMP. TMP's CRM practices sufficiently encompass market
orientation, and market orientation does not play a moderating role. TMP needs to
prioritize customer retention, satisfaction, and building close relationships with loyal
customers by implementing regular feedback mechanisms and identifying areas for
improvement. Investing in employee training programs to enhance customer service skills
and CRM system utilization will optimize the effectiveness of CRM practices. Exploring
innovative technologies and platforms to streamline customer interactions and improve
data management processes is essential. These proactive measures will strengthen TMP's
competitive position and ensure sustainable growth. To optimize resources, TMP should
leverage cost-effective automation tools and outsource non-essential tasks. Additionally,
integrating competitor analysis into their market orientation strategy can refine CRM
practices and maintain a competitive edge. By balancing cost efficiency with market
intelligence, TMP can enhance its CRM initiatives for long-term success in the
competitive landscape, supporting strategic goals, sustainable growth, and market
competitiveness

Taxonomic Study on Some species of Family Asteraceae found in Thone Taung

Abstract
The plant samples were collected from Thone Taung Village, Pyin Oo Lwin Township,
Mandalay Region for the study of taxonomic characters. These plant specimens were
identified and studied during September 2016 to March 2017. In the present study, totally
seven species belonging to six genera of Family Asteraceae under group of Eudicots were
studied taxonomic characters. Only one species from the genera
Ageratum,
Bidens,
Mikania,
Synedrella and
Tithonia, two species from
Crassocephalum were collected. Three
species possess radiate heads and four species possess discoid heads. The morphological
characters of the individual species were displayed with pictures and hand drawing. An
Artificial Key to the species was contrived according to the resulting data. The valuable
information of Asteraceae found in Thone Taung Village, Pyin Oo Lwin Township,
Mandalay Region will provide to further researchers

No full textNanostructures like nanotubes, nanowires, nanobelts and nanoclusters have amazing mechanical, electrical and thermal properties. They have attracted a great deal of interests in recent years, because of their importance in fundamental low-dimensional physics as well as potential applications in nanodevices technology. As one of the most important one dimensional (1D) nanometer materials, nanowires provide a good system to investigate the dependence of electrical and thermal transport on dimensionality and size reduction.
Size is an important factor in studying nanoscale structure. The most significant characteristic of materials at nanosacle is their high surface-to-volume ratio which influences their properties. Nanowires have a number of exciting potential applications in nanoscale electronic devices, it is necessary to develop a quantitative understanding of the thermodynamic model to determine the size dependence of the melting temperature and deepen our understanding of its nature of such nanowires.
The melting temperature of nanowires is one of the basic properties of materials, has different character from their bulk counterparts. Thus in this paper present the size dependency of melting temperature of nanowires in the perspective of cohesive energy which is a single bond energy multiples the coordination number. The relation between the cohesive energy of naowires is also discussed. It is known that the melting temperature and cohesive energy are parameters to describe the bond strength. As a result, the melting temperature of a solid is directly proportional to its cohesive energy. Thermal stability of nanowires’ mathematical simulation is revealed based on bond order-length-strength correlation model. The validity of the results is confirmed by the data of experiments and molecular dynamics simulations.Bachelor of Engineerin

This paper aims to study and analyze the effect of environmental pollution and economic growth on public health in developing countries, Asia. Secondary data from World Bank data during the period from 2011 to 2020 are used. The study is used descriptive statistics to make the comparative analysis of environmental pollution and economic growth on public health in developing countries, Asia. Panel data analysis method is applied to analyze the effect of life expectancy at birth, GDP per capita (PPP), CO2 and urbanization growth rate of developing countries. The two panel data regression models (fixed effect model and random effect model), Hausman test and the Breusch Pagan Lagrangian multiplier test are used to analyze the panel data which consists of seven developing countries for the period 2011-2020 are used.As the result of the random effect model is more appropriate to carry out this study. For the research objective (1), Bangladesh has the largest emissions of carbon dioxide, while Cambodia has the lowest. It is clear that emissions of carbon dioxide are rising year after year throughout the year. Myanmar emits the second-highest amount of CO2. Sri Lanka has the highest GDP per capita (PPP) among developing nations and Nepal's GDP per capita (PPP) is the lowest among them. Sri Lankahas highest life expectancy at birthin 2011 and 2020. Among the nations, Myanmar has the lowest birth expectancy. For the research objective (2), according to the results urbanization growth rate is 10 percent, and CO2 emissions and GDP per capita (PPP) are significant at 1 percent level. Thus, in developing countries in Asia must be reduced CO2 emission and urbanization growth rate because environmental, atmosphere, hydrosphere and natural resources can be destroyed. It can be suggested that employment opportunities should be more created in especially rural, and this can reduce CO2 emissions and also reducing the urbanization growth rate. Consequently, urban and rural economies can grow, and develop and CO2 emission can be reduced. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
