The Embodiment of the Author’s Consciousness Through the Narrative of the Main Character in “Notes of a Ukrainian Madman” Lina Kostenko
No full textThe article is devoted to the analysis of the veiled form of implementation of author’s conciseness in the political novel “Notes of a Ukrainian Madman” by L. Kostenko. It is clarified that the author’s personal vision of occurrences of the beginning of the XXI century is given through the notes and actions of the main character. The personage put down political and social reports which he got to know from various mass media that is why artistic reality is depicted in form of notes. By giving the writer’s functions to the personage the author focuses her attention on contradictions between a complicated political situation in the country and a globalized reality in general, while statement of facts and faithful events in the piece of literature gave a possibility to express the essence of nationwide problems and interests. The novel gives details of factual and social basis. This paper provides the overview of a modern novel in terms of political genre variety. There is no term “a political novel” in Ukrainian Literary Studies encyclopedias and reference books nowadays. But literary scholars (V. Klymchuk, I. Motornjuk and others) prove that a political novel as a genre variety was finally formed in the XX century. “Notes of a Ukrainian Madman” by L. Kostenko is the author’s emotional response to the social realm, an attempt realize realia of today from the artistic point of view, it is a literary reflection of social and political life of the country

Костенко. Выяснено, что собственное авторское видение событий начала ХХІ ст. передается через записи и действия главного героя. Персонаж записывал политические, социальные сообщения, о которых узнавал из разных средств массовой информации, поэтому художественная действительность в романе отображается в форме записок. Сосредоточено внимание на том, как, передав авторские функции персонажу, писательница раскрывает противоречия сложной политической ситуации в стране и глобализированной действительности вообще, посредством констатации фактов и правдивости отображения событий в произведении выражается сущность общенациональных проблем и интересов. В романе детализирована фактажно-социальная основа. Сделан вывод, что „Записки украинского самашедшего” Л. Костенко – эмоциональная авторская реакция на окружающую действительность, попытка художественно осмыслить реалии сегодняшнего дня, литературная рефлексия на общественно-политическую жизнь страны.Досліджується завуальована форма втілення авторської свідомості в політичному романі „Записки українського самашедшого” Л. Костенко. З’ясовано, що власне авторське бачення подій початку ХХІ ст. передається через записи та дії головного героя. Персонаж занотовував політичні та соціальні повідомлення, про які дізнавався з різних засобів масової інформації, тому художня дійсність у романі відображається у формі записок. Зосереджено увагу на тому, як, передавши авторські функції персонажеві, письменниця розкриває суперечності складної політичної ситуації в країні та глобалізованої дійсності загалом, через констатацію фактів і правдивість відтворення подій у творі виявляється суть загальнонаціональних проблем та інтересів. У романі деталізована фактажно-соціальна основа. Зроблено висновок, що „Записки українського самашедшого” Л. Костенко – емоційна авторська реакція на навколишню дійсність, спроба художньо осмислити реалії сьогодення, літературна рефлексія на суспільно-політичне життя країни

Анализируются нормативные правовые акты, рассматриваются мнения исследователей в области определения целей уголовного и уголовно-исполнительного права. Выявлены неточности в определении целей уголовной ответственности и применения уголовного наказания; обосновывается нецелесообразность разделения этих понятий и добавления в УИК в качестве цели ресоциализации осужденных. Рассматривается возможность инкорпорирования ресоциализации в качестве задачи уголовно-исполнительного законодательства. Предлагается внести изменения в Уголовный и Уголовно-исполнительный кодексы Республики Беларусь в части признания в качестве цели уголовной ответственности «восстановление нарушенных прав и свобод». = We study the aims of criminal responsibility and application of criminal penalties. Analyzed legal acts, the author describes views of researchers in defining the objectives of criminal and penitentiary law. Revealed discrepancies in the
definition of purpose of criminal prosecution and application of criminal penalties; inadvisability of separating these concepts and adding as an objective resocialization of the convicts. The author analyses possibility of incorporating resocialization as a task of the penitentiary legislation. It is proposed to amend the Criminal Code and the Penitentiary Code of the Republic of Belarus with regard to recognition as a target of criminal responsibility «restoration of violated rights and freedoms»
