Karadi 3
Music, poetry, storytelling, and lively color come together to make each of these book/cassette pairs attractive. Each tape starts with a song in which Karadi introduces himself as a teller of stories. Here Kapi, the good king of the monkeys, has warned them not to let any mangoes float downriver towards Benares. Korung, a bad monkey, lets one float down, and soon enough the king has sent boats upriver to find this wonderful fruit. When the king and his hunters arrive, Kapi understands that he must form part of a bridge to freedom for his threatened people. He does this, and the king in admiration stops his men from firing arrows at Kapi. Korung, the last across, dashes Kapi down, but he revives. When the king assures Kapi that his people can return, he forgives Korung and welcomes him back. The book and audio cassette come together in a cellophane package. Though I will list each pair under both books and audio cassettes, I will keep them together in their packages under books.Script & Direction by Shobha Viswanat
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Development of Spice-Based Candy
UW-Stout Research Day showcases student, faculty, and staff research, creativity, and innovation and its impact on business, industry and the community. The food industry is embracing innovative trends, leading to research on spice-infused candies. Studies on ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg explore their culinary versatility and health benefits (Ajayi et al., 2013; Gabr et al., 2019; Mao et al., 2019). Previous research on ginger in sweets emphasizes taste modification and potential health effects (Afzaal et al., 2021; Alam et al., 2018). Incorporating spices into confectionery has proven feasible and beneficial (Dhawan et al., 2023), addressing consumer demand for functional foods and offering innovative taste profiles (Souiy et al., 2023). This research aims to formulate spice-based candies and optimize flavor profiles through sensory analysis.Office of Research & Sponsored Program

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Information Security Educational case study on the advanced network infrastructure security and technical aspects for large scale international organization
Modern Organizations are highly depending on its network. It is because the communication
process in the enterprises is impossible without a network. Networking and network security
are the advanced terms for the modern enterprises. This thesis is related to describe advanced
network related concepts for information security. This thesis work is a case study for the future
students so that they can learn about the advanced networking and the importance of network
security in the IT organizations. In the thesis work, the author described a multi subsidiary and
international organization named CKTECK with the collaboration of a peer student. After that
as an individual thesis work the author has concentrated mainly on the Technical concepts such
as the CKTECK’s whole Network Infrastructure design & plan which contained overall network
infrastructure description, basic network security policy, network security related risk analysis,
some tasks on risk analysis for network security in BYOD, Cloud , Social Media, some tasks
related to network security policy and some list of potential projects on advanced networking
concepts and so on. The author has concentrated on some challenges during the whole research
which are:(1) To deliver overall network infrastructure plan, physical facilities and an overall
concept (all discipline: authentication, accounting, authorization, encryption, physical security
and backup procedures, disaster recovery planning, business continuity management, application
security, web and email security, hot swap over to second site etc.) (2)To define Basic Network
security Policy for CKTECK .(3)To process network related risk assessment for the network of
CKTECK, tasks description and solutions of some tasks has been developed from the author
side for the CKTECK. (4)To find the challenges and define what future students can learn with
CKTECK? (5) Development of some solutions in some cases to hand out to the students.
For finding the solutions to these challenges, the author has used original research papers, white
papers produced by experts, Organizational material produced for public used. Additionally, the
interviews with experts helped the author a lot for the fulfillment of his goals

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
