Study of Employee Silence and its Relationship with Employee Commitment among Faculty of Higher Education Institutions in Sindh
It is noted that employees tend to remain silent at work because they do not want to have risk of discontinuity of job due to voice up. This study has tried to understand the impact of dimensions of employee silence (Defensive silence, Acquiescent Silence and Pro-social silence) on employee commitment among faculty of higher education institutions in Sindh. A close ended questionnaire was used in the study and data was collected from 234 Faculty members determined on the basis of sample size table given by (Saunders et al. 2009) and same was analyzed through correlation analysis and regression analysis. Results of the study suggest that all three dimensions of employee silence (Defensive Silence, Acquiescent Silence and Pro-social Silence) negatively and significantly affect employee commitment among faculty members of higher education institutions in Sindh. The findings of the study recommend that management of the universities should work on silence related problems which are faced by employees to create a better environment. Results further elaborate that employee silence is a negative sign because the commitment level of the employees tend to be decreased if silence exists within the organization

PARADIGMA TAFSIR AL-MANAR
Abstract: The essential of Al-Mana>r in the process of interpretation become its interpretation phenomenal. Many names were given indistinguishing al-Mana>r style such al-manhaj al-ijtima>y, al-laun al-adaby al-ijtima>’y and so forth. The writer elaborates the paradigm that used by al-mana>r’s author to investigate the reasons in giving various naming. As the result, those naming are understandable. This article investigated al-Mana>r paradigm into three perspectives. First, interpretation means an earnest effort which implemented to decide some cases which are not discussed in Qur’an and hadist. In consequence, human taught becomes an important aspect in interpreting. Second, all the effort is an attempt to make the interpretation of Qur’an as guidance (hida>yah). Then third, interpretation effort is an attempt to make Qur'an readers happiness in this world and in the hereafter. Al-Mana>r has inspired various interpreting works. Therefore, Al-Mana>r refers to the social interpreting (al-madrasah al-'aqliyah al-ijtima>'iyyah). Al-Mana>r paradigm can be categorized as rational paradigm because it puts sense in the important position. Muh}ammad 'Abduh argues that, "Logic is the main principal of Islam. Logical thinking in Islam means a prelude to the true faith” and “Reasoning becomes priority when a literal understanding and logical reasoning clash.” Keywords: Paradigm, Help, Happiness, al-Madrasah.</jats:p
METHOD OF CHARACTERISTICS VERIFICATION OF INVERSE FREQUENCY MODEL OF TURBULENT PIPE FLOW TRANSIENTS
Pressure transients in pipes with turbulent flow have classically been simulated using numerical techniques such as the method of characteristics. An alternative method utilizing an inverse frequency algorithm has recently been introduced for smooth pipe and determined to be computationally fast compared to the method of characteristics and in some cases more accurate. In addition, comparisons with experimental water hammer data has verified that the inverse frequency method is accurate out to Reynolds numbers of 15,800. This thesis investigates a comparison or the inverse frequency and method of characteristics methods for Reynolds numbers out to 200,000 for smooth pipes
Why you Leave? An approach to understand Job Embeddedness, Staffing & Employee Performance
The worldwide labor force has undergone substantial changes in the last century. These changes are mostly dependent on the level of job embeddedness and the variety of staffing strategies that businesses employ. Our current reality necessitates uniqueness, adaptability, and creativity. It goes without saying that companies will need to modify their thought processes to keep up with this shift, as well as their staff retention management protocols. This study looked at the impact of job embeddedness as an independent factor on employee performance as well as the relationship between staffing practices and performance. The hypothesis was accepted since there was a strong and positive association between staffing and employee performance. However, the effect of work embeddedness on employee performance was not supported by statistics and the hypothesis was not maintained. Policymakers in human resources will find this research to be very helpful
Performance of Post Graduate Students Using Multiple Regression Analysis (Case Study)
The present study is focused to analyze the performance of post graduate students through various statistical parameters. In order to estimate the performance of Post Graduate Students, who are enrolled in different fields of Science, Technology and Humanities at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET) Jamshoro. The modified model of MLR is used to represent the Number of Degree Holders Students (ND) and would be utilized for those who obtained their master’s degree within time duration or well time to be considered as dependent variable, the initially enrolled student denoted as (NS) number of students and with their obtained CGPA to be considered as independent variable. The result of this research would help to estimate the performance of post graduate students. For this study multiple linear regression model can also be generalized as,............. The data was statistically analyzed through SPSS 20. The multiple linear regression and Pearson correlation were performed to test the hypotheses of this study. The results show that workplace environment effect immensely on satisfaction level of the employees. Most bankers in various banks were satisfied with working environment they had in their respected banks. All the hypotheses for this study were retained owing to significant influence of working environment on level of job satisfaction of bankers
