Sawah padinya yang luas adalah bermula dari dataran kaki Gunung Jerai hinggalah ke negeri Perlis. Kedah yang asalnya merangkumi Perlis, Pulau Pinang dan Seberang Perai mempunyai sejarah yang menarik. Ia adalah sebuah kerajaan Melayu tertua. Malah Kedah sudah ujud sebelum adanya Melaka. Banyak metes dan lagenda yang memperkatakan tentang pembukaan negeri Kedah ini. Ada yang mengatakan kononnya Kedah dibuka oleh Putera Merong Mahawangsa yang mengiringi Putera Rom untuk berkahwin dengan Puteri China. Burung Garuda telah menyerang kapal mereka semasa diperjalanan bertujuan untuk menggagalkan perkahwinan itu . Dari serangan itu kapal pun karam. Maka Putera Merong Mahawangsa hanyut dan terdampar di pantai. Dari situlah baginda membuka negeri Kedah. Agama hindu merupakan agama yang pertama memasuki negeri Kedah. Ini dikenalpasti adalah melalui bukti yang nyata dimana terdapatnya runtuhan candi hindu yang besar di kampung Batu Pahat di kaki Gunung Jerai Merbok

Time series is used in this study where it is a sequence of information that attaches a time period to each value. The data in the study describes monthly forecast and actual lifted volume of MG3DF in 2019 for each Petroleum Agreement Contractors (PACs). The period of the Data used in this study was 12 months and it consist of 3 companies which are HESS, PCSB and REPSOL. Topics that will be discussed in this report is Managing Forecast and Actual Demand of MG3DF, which is one of PLI Base Oil’s product. Study was carried out at PETRONAS Lubricants International. This is limited to the geographical area of the city of Kuala Lumpur. This study was conducted by using secondary data. The researcher has used journals, company’s annual report, research papers and internet as secondary data in this study

Full text linkKodak Eastman Company is a company that focus on printing, advanced materials and chemicals. The headquarters of the company that founded by George Eastman is in Rochester, New York. The company produces many kinds of products related to printing and photography. Ring light is one of the products created in category of camera accessories. The Kodak company produced a ring light called Ring Light 10” and the presale of the product is in October 2020.There are a few problems found from the ring light that may affect its performance and become the factors of lack of customer’s interest on it. Firstly, the problem found from the design of the ring light itself. The diameter of the ring light may cause several tricks that affecting the result of the ring light illumination. Secondly, the power supply for the ring light is not compatible for outdoor setting thus make it less portable tool. Thirdly, the wire-attached light controller of the ring light is inconvenience for the user especially those who intended to use the ring light for selfie portrait. Fourthly, the design of the tripod is not suitable for different states. Lastly, the universal smartphone clamp is designed for smartphone size only which it is not compatible with tablet or other wider photography tools. Therefore, several specifications of the ring light need to be changed in order to encounter the problems stated. First of all, the design of the ring light has to be changed. Next ,the power supply of the ring light needs to be upgraded. Besides that, the light controller should be created as a wireless controller to ease the user. Then, the design of the tripod is upgraded for a better one, and lastly, the problem of incompatibility of the clamp can be overcome by changing the design of the universal smartphone clamp

Full text linkPemanfaatan dengan bahan baku utama sampah kantong plastik (kresek) yang berserahkan diwilayah kota Kendari dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai cara dengan menggunakan teknologi sederhana/tangan dan murah tidak memerlukan modal yang besar namun memiliki nilai ekonomi serta nilai estetika yang tinggi apabila dikreasikan dan dikerjakan secara inovatif. Dengan adanya sampah kantong plastik (kresek) memotivasi para remaja putri di Panti Asuhan Shabri di Kelurahan Watu-Watu dapat membuka peluang usaha melalui kreatifitas membuat boneka yang bermacam-macam model apabila telah mampu mendapatkan pengetahuan keterampilan kerajinan dasar membuat boneka dengan bahan baku mudah didapat dan menghemat biaya produksi.Melalui pelatihan dan metode pendampingan dapat memberikan bekal keterampilan secara efektif kepada mitra (para remaja putri panti Asuhan Shabri) untuk mengolah sampah anorganik, terutama sampah/limbah kantong plastik (kresek) menjadi barang-barang kerajinan yang mempunyai nilai tambah secara ekonomi dan nilai jual selain membuat produk boneka serta dapat berkreatifitas menciptakan produk souvenir/pajangan lainnya bernilai seni dan memberi nilai tambah untuk dikomersialkan sehingga menghasilkan pendapatan. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan kreatif melalui keterampilan kerajinan mengolah limbah sampah kantong plastik (kresek) kepada para remaja putri di panti asuhan Shabri dan pentingnya memelihara lingkungan disekitar kota Kendari akibat banyaknya penimbunan sampah sekaligus menjadi inspirasi generasi muda untuk menjaga keseimbangan alam dan kebersihan di wilayah kota Kendar

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
