HUBUNGAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA RUMAH SAKIT DENGAN DISIPLIN KERJA PEGAWAI (STUDI PADA RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH AHMAD YANI, KOTA METRO)
Disiplin kerja dapat tercipta dengan baik apabila adanya kesadaran dari pegawai dan adanya kepemimpinan yang baik dari seorang pemimpin. Seperti di Rumah Sakit Umum Ahmad Yani kota Metro, Kepemimpinan sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja pegawai rumah sakit, sehingga dengan kepemimpinan dan manajemen yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin pegawai dapat menciptakan kedisiplinan dalam bekerja memberikan pelayanan kesehatan pada masyarakat.Dalam penelitian ini penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis ekplanasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Uji statitik menggunakan rumus Product Moment.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian bahwa: (a) Dari hasil analisa data menggunakan rumus Product Moment diperoleh nilai 0,64 > dari nilai r tabel taraf signifikansi 5% = 0,308 1% = 0,389 pada N = 82. Hal ini menunjukkan hubungan kepemimpinan kepala rumah sakit dengan disiplin kerja pegawai RSU A. Yani Metro dalam korelasi tinggi. (b) Dari hasil konsultasi dengan nilai korelasi diketahui nilai 0,64 berada di antara rentang korelasi 0,60 – 0,79 yang menunjukkan korelasi tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa hubungan kepemimpinan kepala rumah sakit dengan disiplin kerja pegawai RSU A. Yani Metro dalam korelasi tinggi. POLA PEMBERDAYAAN PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL DALAM PELAKSANAAN TUGAS ANGGOTA DEWAN PERWAKILAN RAKYAT DAERAH KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TENGAH
Charges against qualified employees getting stronger so that the implementation of empowerment in developing HR competencies of civil servants in the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council (DPRD)Central Lampungregency had not negotiable. But employees do not seem to understand and carry out their duties and functions, some are employees who understand their duties and functions, but does not perform the job optimally, even some employees consider coming late to the office are common, and they often employees are not present without explanation. The research problem is formulated as follows: "How Patterns Empowerment of Civil Servants in the discharge of members of the House of RepresentativesCentral Lampungdistrict?".Research carried out by methods descriptive-qualitative data collection techniques such as interviews, documentation, and observation. Information is determined not only of employees but also from legislatorsCentral Lampungregency.This study concluded: (1) Pattern empowerment of civil servants deemed appropriate Parliament Secretariat is being implemented consistently, in accordance with the conditions of employment and implemented fully. (2) The firmness of a leader or supervisor to employees with low performance or an employee with poor discipline so far is enough to affect the attitude improvement and increased productivity. (3) Modeling of the leaders of the secretariat of Central Lampung Regency very important role in empowering civil servants. (4) Empowerment of civil servants should not only emphasize the improvement of skills and knowledge of employees, but also to build character and personality of the civil servants who are responsible.
DINAMIKA KEPEGAWAIAN DAN EFEKTIVITAS KERJA PEGAWAI
Abstrak Sebagian tenaga honorer di Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Lampung Tengah masih ada yang belum datang/pulang kerja tepat waktu ataupun keluar kantor tanpa alasan dinas, motivasi kerja mereka belum optimal karena insentif yang rendah serta ketidakpastian nasib status menjadi pegawai negeri. Inisiatif kerja juga masih kurang, termasuk ketelitian, kecermatan, dan keseriusan kerja seperti masih menunda penyelesaian pekerjaan. Permasalahan dalam tulisan ini adalah: Bagaimanakah dinamika kepegawaian dalam kaitannya mendukung efektivitas kerja tenaga honorer di Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Lampung Tengah? Untuk menjawab persoalan tersebut digunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Simpulan dan saran penelitian yaitu: (1) Peningkatan implementasi disiplin jam/hari kerja ditujukan tidak terbatas terhadap pegawai honorer, tetapi peningkatan kemampuan adaptasi jam dan hari kerja tersebut juga diberlakukan kepada pegawai negeri. (2) Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bersaing dilakukan kegiatan atau kebijakan motivasi secara berimbang, baik dari aspek materiil maupun spiritual. (3) Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dilakukan berbagai kegiatan kecakapan kerja bagi tenaga honorer yang baru, seperti kegiatan orientasi kerja, pendampingan kerja, pendidikan dan pelatihan. (4) Optimalisasi kemampuan kerja dilakukan dengan peningkatan gaji/insentif bagi tenaga honorer serta rekrutmen dilakukan terhadap calon pegawai berbakat. (5) Potensi konflik diantara sesama pegawai honorer ditekan dengan pemberian tugas dan pekerjaan yang adil atau merata sehingga mencegah terjadinya kecemburuan kerja
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. DAMPAK LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PERAWAT RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH AHMAD YANI KOTA METRO
ABSTRACT. Suspected environment and unhealthy working conditions is an additional burden of employment for employees. Using a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using aquestionnaire researchers conducted a study of the impact of work environment on the motivationof nurse work in Ahmad Yani Hospital, Metro City. The result of research are: (a) From result of dataanalysis using Product Moment formula obtained value 0,13 <from value r table significance level 5%= 0,308 1% = 0,389 at N = 41. This indicates work environment has no impact on work motivationnurse at RSU A. Yani Metro City. (b) From the result of consultation with correlation value, it isknown that the value of 0.13 lies between the correlation range of 0.01 - 0.29 which shows the lowcorrelation. Thus it can be seen that the impact of work environment on the motivation of nursework in RSU A. Yani Metro City in low category. (c) The working environment has no impact on nursework motivation in RSU A. Yani Metro City. This means that environmental impacts such as lack oflighting and noise caused by patients and visitors have no significant impact on the motivation ofnurses of RSU A. Yani Metro. Nurses continue to perform their duties as usual despite the noise ofpatients and visitors. Keywords: working environment; work motivationABSTRAK. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
