    BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN PENGAJARAN FORMULA ABCDE PENDEKATAN RASIONAL EMOTIF BEHAVIOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF EFFICACY MAHASISWA CALON GURU

    Penelitian dilatarbelakangi data studi pendahuluan pertama dan kedua pada mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia departemen Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri yaitu mahasiswa memiliki self efficacy guru kategori sedang dan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian yaitu merumuskan dan menyusun desain intervensi layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan pengajaran formula ABCDE pendekatan rasional emotif behavior serta menguji efektivitas desain intervensi dalam meningkatkan self efficacy calon guru di Departemen Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri UPI. Penelitian menggunakan mixed methods dengan strategi embedded konkuren (kuantitatif sebagai metode primer dan kualitatif sebagai metode sekunder) pada 6 mahasiswa pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 6 mahasiswa pendidikan Manajemen Bisnis sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif (primer) dan kualitatif (sekunder). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara kuantitatif, bimbingan kelompok dengan pengajaran formula ABCDE pendekatan rasional emotif behavior belum efektif dalam meningkatkan self efficacy mahasiswa calon guru. Dari data kualitatif didapatkan bahwa mahasiswa menyadari akan masalahnya, menyadari ada penyebab keyakinan irasional penyebab masalah, memahami dalam mengatasinya sehingga mahasiswa merasa ada keyakinan terhadap kemampuan untuk menjadi guru.Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ditujukan kepada: (1) Konselor di Perguruan Tinggi menerapkan desain intervensi dengan terlebih dahulu meningkatkan kompetensi dan keilmuan terkait layanan ini; dan (2) peneliti selanjutnya menindaklanjuti penelitian ini dengan menerapkan desain intervensi kepada mahasiswa yang memiliki self efficacy ketegori rendah dan sedang.;--- The study was motivated by the first and second preliminary data gained from the Students of Indonesia University of Education (UPI) Department of Agro-Industry Technology Education, students had medium and high self-efficacy. The study was aimed at making the design intervention of group guidance services to the teachings of formula ABCDE approach rational emotive behavior and to test the effectiveness of the design of interventions to improve self efficacy teacher candidates in Department of Agro-Industry Technology Education UPI. The study employed mixed methods frameworks within the concurent embedded strategy (quantitative data as primary method and qualitative data as secondary method) toward 6 students of Department of Agro-Industry Technology Education as an experiment group and another 6 students of Department of Business Management Education as a control group. The data were analyzed from both analysis of quantitative data as primary data and qualitative data as secondary one. The finding of the study revealed that quantitatively of guidance group using rational emotive behavior ABCDE formula-based approach teaching has not been effective in improving teacher candidates’ self efficacy. From the qualitative data shows that students are aware of the problem, realize there is cause irrational beliefs cause of the problem, understand the handle so that students feel confident of the ability to become teachers. Hence, some recommendations were made as the following; (1) The univeristy’s counselors apply by first improving and scientific competence related to this service, (2) Further research following up this research by applying the design of interventions to students who have self efficacy of low and medium categories

    Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of gender on the level of students’ self-compassion and determine the effect of students’ level of self-compassion on their academic achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the type of ex-post facto research and ordinal regression analysis. The data were collected using the Self-Compassion Scale (SWD) with alternative answers from one to five of scale. The sample in this study was students at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Our analysis results showed no significant effect of gender on the students’ level of self-compassion and no significant effect of students’ level of self-compassion on their academic achievement.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gender terhadap tingkat welas diri mahasiswa, dan mengetahui pengaruh tingkat welas diri terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto dan menggunakan analisis regresi ordinal. Instrumen pengumpul data menggunakan Skala Welas Diri (SWD) dengan alternatif jawaban dari skala satu sampai skala lima. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gender tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat welas diri mahasiswa dan tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan tingkat welas diri terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa

    Kesulitan yang dirasakan mahasiswa tingkat akhir di masa pandemi covid-19 yang membatasi ruang gerak dalam proses penyeleasian tugas akhir mahasiswa. Tekanan mental mahasiswa menghadapi kesulitan-kesulitan yang terjadi dapat berdampak pada stress, depresi yang akhirnya lebih memilih menyerah dan tidak menyelesaikan tugas akhir, bahkan sampai memunculkan ide untuk bunuh diri. Beban dan kesulitan yang dirasakan mahasisawa tingkat akhir pada masa pandemi ini agar tidak menjadi tekanan yang berlarut dan berdampak pada kesehatan (fisik maupun mental) serta kelancaran penyelesaian kuliah maka mahasiswa tingkat akhir perlu memiliki self-compassion (welas diri). Dengan memiliki self-compassion yang tinggi pada mahasiswa maka menimbulkan resiliensinya tinggi dan prokrastinasi rendah, serta lebih termotivasi untuk berjuang lebih baik dalam proses penyelesaian tugas akhir khususnya di era pandemi covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran tingkat self-compassion (welas diri) mahasiswa tingkat akhir prodi bimbingan dan konseling Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta pada masa pendemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir prodi bimbingan dan konseling di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang memiliki kriteria tertentu yaitu mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan KKN dan praktik kependidikan serta sedang menyusun tugas akhir sebanyak 36 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa sebagian besar memiliki self-compassion kategori sedang. Komponen self-compassion yang masih perlu ditingkatkan yaitu kewawasan (mindfulness) dan komponen yang perlu dikurangi yaitu menghakimi diri, isolasi, dan overidentifikasi.     Development of digital comic media: Reduce negative perceptions of guidance and counseling teachers

    This research started from a misunderstanding of the role and function of guidance and counseling teachers in schools from students, subject teachers, school principals, and even the general public. The roles and functions of guidance and counseling teachers are perceived negatively, which are assumptions and perspectives that are different from the actual roles and functions based on knowledge and professions that already exist in government regulations. The purpose of this study was to develop digital comic media as an effort to reduce negative perceptions of the role and function of guidance and counseling teachers in schools. This research is research and development with the Borg and Gall model. The subjects in this study were students of SMA N 5 Yogyakarta grades X, XI, and XII. Data collection using questionnaires and interview guidelines. Data analysis using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. This research produces a product in the form of digital comic media,, which has been validated by material experts and media experts as well as field trials on students. The resulting digital comics can be used as an interesting medium to change high school students' negative perceptions of the role and function of guidance and counseling teachers in schools

    Peningkatan Pemahaman dan Keterampilan Konselor dalam Pemanfaatan Teknologi melalui Pelatihan  Pemanfaatan Google Sites

    One of them is the lack of adequate counselor skills in the use of technology for guidance and counseling services. In the current era, guidance and counseling services are faced with various challenges and opportunities. One of them, counselors must be able to adapt to technological developments. This is a need for the younger generation in the current era as recipients of guidance and counseling services. One use of technology in guidance and counseling is to develop service media via the Google sites. Counselors need to receive training in media development for guidance and counseling services via the Google sites. Google sites provides ease of use and high accessibility so that it will make it easier for counselees to understand and increase students\u27 interest and motivation to participate in guidance and counseling services. The targets of the training were 30 high school guidance and counseling teachers who were members of the Yogyakarta Special Region High School Guidance and Counseling Teachers\u27 Conference. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting observational data, comprehension tests, and content development results. The results of the training show an increase in the ability of guidance and counseling teachers in developing online guidance and counseling service media using the Google sites

    Development of a recommendation model for information technology-based college study program options for high school students

    Students who plan to attend university frequently struggle with making decisions. The challenge of students' decision-making regarding study program selection in higher education arises from factors such as self-understanding, including intelligence, talents, and interests, as well as understanding of the educational environment and available information on study programs. The objective of this research is to create a recommendation model for high school students in Yogyakarta to choose information technology-based study programs. A model is employed to aid guidance and counseling teachers in offering guidance to high school students regarding their choice of study programs in higher education. This guidance is based on the students' self-awareness and understanding of their surroundings. The research described in this study follows the Borg and Gall model, which consists of 10 development steps in the field of research and development (R&D). Data on the RPP-PT Model was obtained through questionnaires and interview guides. Data analysis involves the utilization of both quantitative and qualitative methods for analyzing data. The study presents a recommendation model for choosing information technology-based study programs in higher education. This model is designed to provide guidance and counseling teachers with recommendations for college study program choices based on students' learning achievement, general abilities, talents, and interests. External factors, including parental expectations, should be taken into account when considering future development

    Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi di era digital menghadirkan berbagai aplikasi yang mendukung pembelajaran, salah satunya Canva. Platform ini memungkinkan guru untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dan layanan yang menarik, interaktif, serta efisien. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengembangkan hard skill dan soft skill guru bimbingan dan konseling SMK di Yogyakarta dengan pemanfaatan Canva sebagai media layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik tersebut adalah skala penilaian pemahaman pengembangan media melalaui canva yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menggunakan canva. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 48 yang mengalami peningkatan menjadi 77 pada saat pre-test. Berdasarkan hal tersebut mazka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berhasil mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan.Abstract: The development of technology in the digital era presents various applications that support learning, one of which is Canva. This platform allows teachers to develop learning media and services that are interesting, interactive, and efficient. This activity aims to develop the hard skills and soft skills of vocational guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta by utilizing Canva as a medium for guidance and counseling services. The measuring instrument used to determine the effectiveness of the technique is an assessment scale for understanding media development through Canva which is done by giving a pre-test and post-test. The results of the implementation of the activity showed an increase in the understanding and ability of guidance and counseling teachers in using Canva. This can be seen from the average pre-test score of 48 which increased to 77 during the pre-test. Based on this, this community service activity has succeeded in achieving the stated objectives.
