ISCRIZIONI ROMANE DI SEGNA E DINTORNI

analizu i prosudbu svih pronadenih natpisa s kamenih spomenika grada Senja
i blize okolice, koji su do sada pronadeni na razliCitim kamenim spomenicima.
U uvodnom dijelu opisana je anticka Senja i njezino mjesto u Rimskom
carstvu. Anticka Senia bila je vazno prometno i trgovacko srediste na istocnoj
obali Jadrana. Anticku Seniu u svojim djelima spominju mnogi grcki i rimski
pisci, na gotovo svim kartama navedena je kao luka, a spominju je: Apijan
Aleksandrinac, Pseudoskilak, Plinije Stariji, Dian Kasije i Strabon, a spòminju je
u geografskim i putopisnim djelima i neki srednjovjekovni pisci kao npr. Antonin
Augustus, Anonimni Ravenjanin i Gvido Pisanus.
Senja je gradansko pravo i status municipija dobila jos u vrijeme Augusta,
a pripadala je i bila upisana u tribus Sergia.
Pored anticke Senie znacajna su i municipalna sredista (gradovi) uz more
ispod Velebita.
Lopsica ili Aloupsoi (Sveti Juraj), Ortoplinia , Ospela, Murula, ili Pedetai
(Stinica), Vegium, Vegia ili Begi (Karlobag) i Argyruntum (Starigrad - Paklenica).
Svi navedeni i opisani epigraficki spomenici su svojevrstan arhiv u kamenu,
a natpisi su uglavno votivnog sadrzaja, ima nekoliko i gradevnih natpisa, i dva
dosta znacajna i interesantna terminacijska natpisa, koja kazuju o etnickom
razgranicenju ilirskih plemena koja su zivjela na tim prostorima. Natpisi pruzaju
dosta podataka o zivotu u gradu i o organizaciji i ustroju grada, razvijenom
vjerskom zivotu, gospodarstvu, trgovini i migracijama stanovnistva.
Veoma interesantno je, da su izvan zidina grada pronadena i tri grcka
natpisa, koja su svakako raritet za sjeverni dio Jadrana. Ova tri natpisa govore o dosta nazocnom orijentalnom elementu stanovnistva u gradu Senju u anticko
doba, koji je svakako igrao vaznu ulogu, posebice, u politickom i gospodarskom
zivotu obnasajuéi razliCite funkcije.
Nekoliko natpisa govore o stovanju razlicitih orijentalnih i italsko-rimskih
kultova u Senju, ovdje su stovani kultovi bogova Mithre, Serapisa, Velike Majke
(Magnae Mater ili Kibele), Libera, Si/vana i Dijane. A svakako u gradu i izvan
grada bila su i svetista nekih od navedenih bogova, za ovu tvrdnju imamo i
arheoloske potvrde u mnogobrojnim nalazima, posebice gradevnih dijelova
hramova.
Jedan gradevni natpis govori o obnovi kupalista, a drugi govori o obnovi
hrama boga Libera (Dionisiosa).
Svi pronadeni natpisi razliCite su starosti pa je i oblik isklesanih slova
dosta razliCit
Natpisi pokazuju dosta epigrafickih, onomastickih i toponomastickih
podataka vaznih za proucavanje najranije proslosti grada Senja i okolice. Doista,
svi ti vazni podaci potvrduju jedan povijesni kontinuitet grada od rimskog doba
pa sve do danas.
Praenomen i kognomen na veéini natpisa uvijek je rimski, a zasigurno,
ako je i nazocno neko ilirsko ime ono se krije pod rimskim imenom.
Veéina antickih natpisa objavljena je u kapitalnom djelu Theodora
Mommsena: Corpus Jnscriptionum Latinarum (CIL) IIL svezak.
Natpisi s kamenih spomenika danas se nalaze u Gradskom muzeju u Senju,
Arheoloskom muzeju u Zagrebu, u dvoristu Senjske biskupije (2), a jedan
natpis nalazi se in situ.L'autore nel presente saggio offre un quadro della raccolta epigrafica di epoca romana
dell 'ampio territorio di Segna, importante sede della tribù dei Liburni, che anche in epoca romana
mantenne le sue prerogative di centro commerciale e di traffico lungo la costa orientale adriatica. Le
ventidue iscrizioni di diversa datazione e fattura offrono parecchi dati epigrafici, onomastici e
toponomastici importanti per lo studio del passato di Segna e del suo circondario. Questo fondo
epigrafico si custodisce oggi nel Museo civico di Segna e nel Museo Archeologico di Zagabria,
mentre una sola iscrizione si trova ancora in situ
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Bidirectional flux of fluids & microbiota at implant-Abutment connection of FMD storm implant system: An in vitro study using RT-PCR
No full textThe purpose of the present microbiological study was to evaluate bacterial leakage at implant-Abutment connection level of a new type of implant (Storm implant (FMD, Falappa Medical Devices®, Rome, Italy) using Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR). This implant presents a polygonal external implant-Abutment connection with a geometry that provides a hex on which engage complementary abutments. To identify the capability of the implant to protect the internal space from the external environment, the passage of genetically modified Escherichia coli across implant-Abutment interface was evaluated. Four Storm implants (FMD, Falappa Medical Devices®, Rome, Italy) were immerged in a bacterial culture for 24 h and bacteria amount was measured inside implant-Abutment interface with Real-Time PCR. Bacteria were detected inside all studied implants, with a median percentage of 15% for P. gingivalis and 14% for T. forsythia. Our results are similar to those reported in the English literature. Additional studies are needed to explore the relationship in terms of microbiota between the internal implant and implant-prosthetic connection. In addition, the dynamics of internal colonization needs to be thoroughly documented in longitudinal in vivo studies. As a result, microbial leakage along the implant abutment interface was acceptable and considered the most probable explanation for peri-implantitis
I RAPPORTITRA SEGNA E RAGUSA NEL PERIODO DELLA INSURREZIONE DI LESINA (1510-1514)
Full text linkAutor ovoga djela raspravlja o vezama Senja i Dubrovnika za vrijeme hvarske bune (1510-1514) sa ciljem da ispita je li taj događaj utjecao na redovitost brodskih linija, trgovinu i druge oblike veza Senja i Dubrovnika. Na temelju niza podataka koji svjedoče te veze autor zaključuje da su one bile žive i raznolike. Prikazano je četverogodišnje razdoblje, koje daje jasnu sliku robe što ju je Dubrovnik izvozio u Senj i iz njega uvozio. Na kraju ovoga rada, na temelju skupljenih i obrađenih podataka i dokumenata, autor zaključuje da hvarska buna veze Dubrovnika i Senja nije ni najmanje omela i da je promet na toj relaciji za vrijeme hvarske bune tekao redovito i bez ikakvih
zapreka.L'autore ha constatato che tra Segna e Ragusa si svolgevano i rapporti mercantili regolari. Ragusa esporta a Segna: le ferramenta, le uva passa acquistate dalla Grecia, i montoni e al-tre sorti della pelle, la lana, la seta, la teleria, il sale e il grano. Da Segna i Ragusei importano: una grande quantitä di asse di varia grandezza e di varia de-stinazione, varie sorti di legna e vari oggetti di legno, il vino, i remi, le madieri, le antenne, la al-beratura, le doghe delle botti i bastimenti e la frutta. Poi il ferro, il gesso e le cinture. Attraverso Segna si collegano le regioni del basso corso dei fiumi Sava, Dunav e Una (Posavlje, Podunavlje e Pounje) con il Mediterraneo. Oltre ai rapporti commerciali Segna rappre-senta per Ragusa un porto di tränsito attraverso il quale circola la posta diplomatica verso la Croazia e l'Ungheria. Ugualmente i diplomati degli stati dell'Europa centrale viaggiano verso Ragusa e viceversa. I bani (governatori) di Croazia e i capitani di Segna sono spesso i mediatori tra la corte croato-unghara e il governo raguseo. La insurrezione di Lešina e le operazioni di guerra intorno a Lešina non hanno avuto nessu-na influenza sull'interruzione o sull'attenuamento dei rapporti tra Segna e Ragusa
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
