    This dissertation explores the metapoetic, metalinguistic and metatextual discourse along the Italian late 20th century and contemporary poetry. The first chapter carries out an examination of the terminology in use and an overview of the studies performed to date. It also presents the method employed, which consists, firstly, in mapping the metapoetic, metalinguistic and metatextual vocabulary of the whole poetic work of an author; and, secondly, in conducting a stylistic analysis of the poems including the characteristic terms of their poetry. In the following chapters this method is applied to the poetic works of Andrea Zanzotto, Adriano Spatola, and Vittorio Reta. Each monographic study covers one specific phenomenon, which is also investigated in the corresponding chapter of comparison. These last sections are respectively related to Giovanni Giudici; Corrado Costa, Giulia Niccolai, and Patrizia Vicinelli; Edoardo Sanguineti. In conclusion, the final chapter compares the stylistic devices and the intertextual references previously pointed out

    Superior compatibility of silicon nanowire anodes in ionic liquid electrolytes

    Silicon nanowire anodes were investigated in lithium-metal cells using different electrolyte formulations based on 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (EMITFSI), 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (EMIFSI) and N-trimethyl-N-butyl-ammonium bis(fluoro sulfonyl)imide (N1114FSI) ionic liquids. The lithium insertion process in the silicon anode was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry measurements, performed at different scan rates and for prolonged cycles, combined with impedance spectroscopy analysis. A galvanostatic charge-discharge cycling test was performed to analyze the electrochemical performances using different types of ionic liquids. A study of the SEI (Solid Electrochemical Interface) layer on the silicon nanowire electrode surface was carried out through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). In general, the silicon anodes in EMIFSI-based electrolytes show very good reversibility, reproducibility, and efficiency in the lithiation process even at high scan rates and exhibits a reversible capacity exceeding 1000 mA h g-1 after 2000 charge-discharge cycles, corresponding to 46 % of the initial value

Parte de la detección de una serie de viñetas o escenas breves en las cuales la enseñanza y sus actores se encuentran con un estudiante que parece haberse soltado de las lógicas tradicionales de la transmisión del saber. Para abordar esta complejidad se propone un marco conceptual sostenido en tres nociones claves: transmisión, genealogía, y filiación, razón por la cual, se intenta un diálogo entre autores provenientes, sobre todo, de la filosofía y el psicoanálisis. ¿Qué significa ser huérfano en la universidad? ¿Quién o quiénes ocupan ese rol? ¿Quién o quiénes abandonan el rol paterno gestando un huérfano? Estas preguntas motivan el recorrido por la obra de Pierre Legendre, autor que resulta clave para desandar la noción de ‘transmisión’, dimensión vinculante del traspaso de la ley desde una generación anterior a una posterior.The main purpose of the research is to understand the sense of orphanhood in the university education. It is based on the detection of a series of vignettes or brief scenes in which the teaching and its actors meet a student who seems to have let go of the traditional logics of the transmission of knowledge. To adddress this complexity a conceptual framework based on three key notions is proposed transmission, genealogy and filiation, which is why a dialogue between authors from philosophy and psychoanalysis is attempted. What does it mean to be an orphan in college? Who occupies that role? Who abandons the paternal role thus gestating an orphan?. These questions motivate the journey through the work of Pierre Legendre an author who is key to return to the notion of transmission, a binding dimension of the transfer of the law from one generation to another

    Reimbursement to U.S. healthcare service providers is largely transitioning from fee for service to fee for value for those clinicians who code using current procedural terminology and through their coding, describe their professional services. The Orthotic, Prosthetic and Pedorthic profession (O&amp;P), currently codes using a system that describes the devices they evaluate for, fabricate, fit and maintain and their professional services are incorporated into their codes. These O&amp;P codes, in contrast to those for other healthcare disciplines, are predominantly product based rather than service based, focusing on product features and function more than clinical service. This editorial manuscript provides a brief overview of the system the US O&amp;P profession uses currently, particularly in the context of other healthcare professions transitioning to value based coding and reimbursement and culminates in a call to action for the profession to academically consider the strengths and weaknesses of the current system relative to alternative systems.     A Gel Polymer Electrolyte for Aluminum Batteries

    Herein, the use of a gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) comprising polyacrylonitrile and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride:aluminum trichloride (EMIMCl:AlCl3) ionic liquid in aluminum batteries is investigated. The investigated GPE is characterized in terms of conduction properties. The obtained ionic conductivity values are suitable for battery applications. The ability of the GPE to sustain an efficient aluminum stripping deposition process is verified, revealing the need of a swelling process to enable the aluminum plating/stripping. The mitigation of the chloroaluminate corrosivity in the GPE is confirmed by evaluating the corrosion current of stainless steel 316 current collectors. The long-term ability of GPE to sustain the stripping deposition process is tested, evidencing a good Al/GPE interface stability. Finally, the GPE electrolyte suitability in the Al battery is verified by assembling an Al/GPE/pyrolytic graphite (PG) cell. The test cell shows a good cycling ability, demonstrating the suitability of the GPE electrolyte for the realization of aluminum batteries

    Gli strumenti della scrittura: un confronto metapoetico tra Valerio Magrelli e Pierluigi Cappello

    This article compares the metapoetic works on the act of writing by Valerio Magrelli (Roma, 1975) and by Pierluigi Cappello (Gemona del Friuli, 1967 – Cassacco, 2017). After studying and sampling the metapoetic vocabulary of each author, I selected specific terms that occurred in both authors’ poems about the act of writing by hand: paper, rubber, pencil, page, and notebook. Therefore, this corpus consists of poems that include at least one of these nouns. The metric and rhetorical analysis of these poems allowed me not only to identify specific features for each author, but also to observe some analogies, such as the creation of a world existing “inside the poem” – a world that shelters and at the same time imprisons the “poetic I” of the authors.Il contributo confronta i testi metapoetici di Valerio Magrelli (Roma, 1957) e di Pierluigi Cappello (Gemona del Friuli, 1967 – Cassacco, 2017) che riguardano l’atto della scrittura. A partire dalla campionatura del lessico metapoetico nella produzione di ciascun autore, sono stati selezionati i termini della scrittura a mano risultati comuni a entrambi: carta, gomma, matita, pagina, quaderno. Il corpus è perciò costituito da componimenti che presentano almeno un’occorrenza di uno di questi sostantivi. L’analisi metrico-retorica dei testi ha permesso di individuare, oltre alle peculiarità individuali, alcune analogie, tra cui la costruzione di un mondo al di qua della pagina che protegge e imprigiona l’io poetico

    Modeling NAND Flash memories for circuit simulations

    In this paper, we will present the basic structure and the parameter extraction procedure for a compact model of a NAND Flash memory string working in Spice-like circuit simulators. To the author knowledge, this is the first Spice-like model of a NAND Flash memory string. This model is modular and simple to be implemented. It will allow accurately reproducing both DC and transient behavior of NAND Flash memories without increasing computational effort, thus becoming an indispensable tool for designers to optimize circuits especially in multi-level applications
