Soja, glifosato y salud humana.
Fil: Longhi, Hugo Fernando. Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas. Bianchi type-I universe in f(R, T) modified gravity with quark matter and Λ
32nd International Physics Congress of Turkish-Physical-Society (TPS) -- SEP 06-09, 2016 -- Bodrum, TURKEYIn this study, we investigate homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type I universe in the presence of quark matter source in f (R, T) gravity (Harko et al. in Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011) with cosmological constant A (where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the energy momentum tensor). For this aim we have used the anisotropy feature of Bianchi type I universe and equation of states (EoS) of quark matter. We explore the exact solution f(R, T)=R + 2f(T) model for Bianchi type I universe model. When t -> infinity, we get very small cosmological constant value, this result agrees with recent observations.Turkish Phys So
Nattiez).
Surfaces and Essences of Memory. Ferruccio Busoni and his Fantasia nach Johann Sebastian Bach
This essay considers Busoni’s Fantasia nach Johann Sebastian Bach (“to the memory of my Father Ferdinando”) within the complex taxonomy of his piano transcriptions. The author emphasizes Busoni’s “organic” conception of the musical work, which, in this case, is developed on the basis of a peculiar category of memory, both at an intra- and extra-musical level. Transformed repetitions, variations and thematic recurrence blend with the symbolical meanings of Bach’s Chorals and with the memory of Busoni’s father’s passing. In the cultural milieu of the turn-of-the-century, these formal principles conveyed highly symbolical meanings, including the idea of reshaping human past (outstanding the case of the Vinteuil Sonata in Proust’s Recherche). Busoni, however, was a supporter of “absolute” music as a “third way” between formalism and program music, so he rejected merely exterior analogies in order to express metaphysical memory. The author of this article establishes a relationship between the aesthetic vision of the Fantasia and the writings of Busoni, while simultaneously carrying out a critical review of L. B. Meyer’s theories on music and emotion, and of some scholars involved in musical narratology such as A. Newcomb and J. J. Nattiez
From the recovered pieces of a scientific mosaic, scattered by G. Bianchi in the correspondence with A. Catani, it emerges the image of a Neapolitan medical republic and a lively “naturaliter lincea” capital city, heir to the late seventeenth-century culture of the Accademia degli Investiganti. Despite the polemical temperament, Bianchi is able to recognize and appreciate the merits of the Neapolitan “novatores”, the innovative discoveries and the printed productions of Domenico Cirillo, Domenico Cotugno, Francesco Serao and Giovanni Maria Della Torre. The itinerary traveled by the author intertwins, together with the esteem for Morgagni, the controversy over lithotomy, the condemnation of superstition and miracles, the confirmed fame of Bianchi, as an influential scholar of zoology, marine fauna and natural history
Software Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN)
A reliable Wide Area Network (WAN) has become a necessity for businesses
to transmit critical data across multiple branches and to increase their revenues. Many
solutions and dierent network structures have been proposed over years such as leased
lines, Frame Relay or Multi-Protocol Label Switching Virtual Private Networks (MPLS
VPN). Each solution is intended to be better than its predecessors in terms of reliabil-
ity and Quality of Service (QoS). Software-Dened Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN)
is an emerging paradigm that introduces the advantages of software dened networking
(SDN) into enterprise networking. SD-WAN can support dierentiated services over pub-
lic WAN by dynamically changing the
ow forwarding rules over an overlay network based
on monitoring data and service requirements. Thanks to these capabilities, it is possible to
overcome high cost of guaranteed QoS services such as MPLS. Most of the SD-WAN so-
lutions commercially available today are based on proprietary controllers and proprietary
Customer Provider Edge (CPE) devises. In this chapter, we present an implementation
of SD-WAN based on open source components such as OpenDaylight SDN controller and
Open Virtual Switch (OvS). This work targets the monitoring features of an SD-WAN
solution and explores active and passive monitoring approaches to understand their ad-
vantages and limitations. Our implementation provides an overlay WAN with controlled
performance in terms of delay and losses over low-cost Internet connectivity
Nell'atelier del traduttore. La sestina "La vida" di Fernando Ortiz
According to Umberto Eco's definition of translation in Dire quasi la stessa cosa, the purpose of literary translation has to be: “costruire un doppio del sistema testuale che [...] possa produrre effetti analoghi nel lettore, sia sul piano semantico e sintattico che su quello stilistico, metrico, fonosimbolico, e quanto agli effetti passionali a cui il testo tendeva” (Eco 2006: 16).
Considering that the pluricodification of literary texts (Lotman 1978) generates a high concentration of information, and that each work is always a contextualized speech act (Álvarez Sanagustín, 1991: 261-263), it is necessary to make decisions, in order to create an analogous poem, that has to be faithful to the original without forgetting the style and respecting the semantic and structural content; in other words, a text that respects the original communicative effectiveness. The last purpose should be to produce in the reader the same impression that the first poem produced.
The translation of a complex poetic structure such as the sestina “La vida”, which emphasizes the tempus fugit topos, implies a deep previous reflection on the metric and the choice of the key words that are repeated in its stanzas. Aware that every translation entails a loss (Hurtado Albir 2007: 639), that the effect is not the same in two different cultures (Eco 2006: 16-17), that we must choose between the invisibility or the visibility of translation (Venuti 1995: 186) and that it is incorrect to explain or conceal more than the original does (Ricoeur 2004: 51), together with the author in 2011 we tried to create another sestina, in Italian, that does not diverge from the prototext semantically, connotatively or stylistically. Our results will be presented here, commenting on the choices and the procedures used to reach the final metatext
Bianchi type-I universe in Lyra manifold with quadratic equation of state
32nd International Physics Congress of Turkish-Physical-Society (TPS) -- SEP 06-09, 2016 -- Bodrum, TURKEYIn this study, we have solved Einstein field equations for Bianchi type I universe model in Lyra manifold with quadratic equation of state (EoS) p = alpha rho(t)(2) - rho(t). Where alpha not equal 0 is an important constant. Cosmic pressure, density and displacement vector (beta(2)) are related with a constant. In this study beta(2) is a decreasing function of time and behaves like a cosmological constant. These solutions agree with the studies of lialford, Pradhan and Singh, Aygun et al., Agarwal et al., Yadav and liaque as well as SN la observations.Turkish Phys So
The impact of West-German universities on regional innovation activities: A social network analysis
In recent years, it has widely been accepted that the ability to create, access and use knowledge and technology is becoming a fundamental determinant of long-term development and competitiveness. Thus, it is not surprising that universities have increasingly become involved in economic development and are often believed to play a key role in regional economic development. This paper firstly examines how far all West-German universities are already involved in close network collaborations. Second, it demonstrates how many distinct linkages 45 chosen West-German universities already possess within the innovation network, and third, to what extent they are already needed as a link in the chains of contacts. Thereby, special attention is given to the eight West-German elite-universities. We basically found out that university interactions, especially university-enterprise networks, become much more important over the last 20 years, as their cooperation activity strongly increased over time. Besides, their distinct linkages to other actors as well as their importance as an intermediary within the innovation network highly increased over the last decade, too; this especially holds for the eight West-German elite universities. --Human Capital,Economic Growth,Social Network Analysis,Patent Analysis,Patent Collaboration,Network Interaction,West-German University,Elite-University
