Alexandr Gel'evič Dugin's Neo-Eurasianist Ideology in Contemporary Russia
The object of the thesis consists of an analysis of the neo-Eurasianist ideology from the viewpoint of Alexandr Dugin, philosopher and author of "The Fourth Political Theory" and several related essays. The objective of this enquiry is multiple, developing into three parts: the first one concerns the historical reconstruction of some dynamics of Russian society and culture which laid the foundations for this way of thought, retracing the steps of classical Eurasianism and its most famous representatives. The second gets into the Fourth Political Theory and the idea of Eurasia for Alexander Dugin, through the conceptions of civilization, people and large spaces, deconstructing the thinker's dialectics as much as possible. This is by far the densest and most important part, where the esoteric and strictly metaphysical characteristics of Dugin's thought are exposed. Finally, the last branch is dedicated to ideological praxis as it is manifesting itself in contemporary Russia, casting an objective look at the actual influence of the philosopher in the politics of the Federation. In conclusion, Eurasianism, as well as neo-Eurasianism, are exposed in this thesis as a little-known yet fundamental aspect of the history of political doctrines, which has a real impact on the current domestic affairs in Russia, and in particular dealing with the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the approach of the relations with the NATO member States
Homomorphic encryption schemes
Title: Homomorphic encryption schemes Author: Anežka Titěrová Department: Department of Algebra Supervisor: RNDr. Alexandr Kazda, Department of Algebra Abstract: Rivest et al. posed in 1978 the cryptographic problem how to correctly compute arbitrary functions over encrypted data without direct decrypting. This problem is solved by using of a fully homomorphic encryp- tion scheme, which was discovered and first described by Craig Gentry in 2009. This work gives a summary of contemporary knowledge in this field. The attention will be restricted to a general overview how to construct the fully homomorphic encryption scheme with respect to the information security. The results will be applied in an implementation of a somewhat homomorphic encryption scheme as a computer program. Fully homomorphic encryption schemes have abundant applications, especi- ally in secure cloud computing. Nevertheless, the greatest challenge for scien- tists is finding out more efficient algorithm because existing implementations are not as effective and fast as required for everyday use. Keywords: homomorphic encryption, fully homomorphic encryption scheme, lattice cryptography, logic circui
Soviet Criminal Law in the Eyes of a Gulag Prisoner: Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s Lecture on Criminal Law in Light of “The Gulag Archipelago”
In his monumental non-fiction book, The Gulag Archipelago, Nobel Prize-winning author Alexandr Solzhenitsyn illustrates real events in Soviet labor camps in literary form. The depiction of EVIL is shocking. The totalitarian Soviet regime subjected millions of people to a horrific fate. As is generally well-known, A. Solzhenitsyn spent eight years in a Soviet concentration camp. Mass terror was the essence of Soviet totalitarianism. A. Solzhenitsyn included a lecture on Soviet criminal law in his book, stressing the importance of Article 58 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic of the Soviet Union in authorizing this terrorism. Solzhenitsyn himself was not a lawyer. However, his conclusions were very accurate. Article 58 of the Criminal Code, which consisted of seventeen paragraphs, defined “counter-revolutionary offenses”. They were obviously punished most severely. Article 58 became a weapon of terror for the Soviet authorities, who used it to convict millions of innocent people.

Gogol’s key to the poetry of Alexandr Kushner (on the material of selected works)
The paper discusses the reception of Gogol’s "Dead Souls" by Alexandr Kushner. The focus is
on the direct comments on Dead Souls and its author to be found in Kushner’s essays, as well as on
numerous references to Gogol in the form of reminiscences and literary allusions in selected poems.
A detailed analysis can reveal interesting parallels and similarities in the poetics of both authors:
the perception of things in close association with humans, the feeling of a special communication
between man and object, referring to eternal images and motifs
The contours of the eucharistic anthropology of Alexandr Filonenko

The project of the Eucharistic anthropology that was proposed by Alexandr
Filonenko, for the first time on a national scale in theological and philosophical studies, presents eucharistic anthropology as a new branch of
philosophical and theological anthropology, which studies practices of
gratitude as recognition of the Other and paths of human dignity after
dehumanizing practices of the XXth century anthropological catastrophe.
The urgency of eucharistic anthropology is defined by the context of the return
of Reality, Subject and the Sacred after their elimination from the philosophical
field of modern and postmodern thought; this return is described as the presence
of the Other. The main task of our paper is to investigate original theoretical
proposition of the well-known Ukrainian scholar, heuristic capabilities and
cognitive potential of the new trend of communicative anthropology. Alexandr
Filonenko describes the interaction between the philosophical and the
theological contexts of eucharistic anthropology from point of view of the
contemporary culture of presence outside modern and postmodern languages.
He opens new horizon of the theoasethetics, theodrama and theologics, which
have been developed in the theological proposal of H. U. von Balthasar. The
author develops an anthropological language sensitive towards theology
and pedagogics, which lets one describe ways of overcoming the
postideological crisis through practices of gratitude. As A. Filonenko stressed,
Eucharistic anthropology offers one to consider philosophy and theology of
witnessing in the Ukrainian context, in which the theological disciplinary
matrix is currently taking shape after a long period of the philosophy of
suspicion domination
